Testing BetaFPV 1404 4500 KV Motors on a FlyFish 3.5 inch Build

Testing new motors an found out it only needed prop screws. Keep breaking 1.5 mm motor shafts. Dont make the same mistake.

Im assuming this is the crux35 flyfish...... how'd the motors work out? Did they come with plugs? Are they more durable than the happymodel motors? I keep breaking loose and losing magnets from them.

Motors are real good, Wires are lil to short so cut the connecters off an solder to flight board an use heat shrink an use extra wire from broken motors.. 3 connectors broke off my flight board am broke about 4 motor shafts an one frame till I started to use prop screws. HappyModel motor shaft is 4mm high & BetaFPV 1404 Is only 3 mm high. Suggest prop screws. Now when I crash gotta swap out a prop an is alot cheeper $$.

A wrong prop screw can break motor shaft?

Yes , but when you are not using none an you crash on a press fit prop say good bye to the motor shaft. Now I put screws in an seems to help.
