Thanks for the ideas! The van would come in really handy for us. If we visit national parks when the weather is a little cold and we don’t want to spend money on hotels, we will definitely consider it. We are planning a trip to some national parks but intend to use hotels because we have award points to use up.
We are tentatively planning to go all the way to White Sands National Park, and on the way back, stop at Carlsbad National Park. We love Yosemite; we got lucky with the lottery for early registration for campgrounds this summer, so we’re hoping to get in.
