Hi guys! I wanted to circle back to say we had a wonderful time on the Grand Canyon railway. It was delightful, relaxing and very informative. Maryellen our train car hostess was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much about Williams, the surrounding areas and the Grand Canyon. We treated ourselves to lunch at El Tova which was delicious. The view from the restaurant overlooking the canyon was breathtaking. And before I forget the live music on the train had everyone singing along. Thank you again for your channel and recommendations. I’ll be following you on your next adventures. ❤

The Grand Canyon Railroad in the ONLY way to go from Williams to the South Rim. I drove to the canyon on my first trip which was interesting, but the second two trips were via railroad from Williams which was way more interesting. It is an experience that you will never forget; truly overwhelming.

Looks like a nice trip. Someone I know who lives in AZ and knows I like trains has told me I need to take the Grand Canyon Railway. For me it's just an issue of getting to Williams.
Those guys batting rocks off the edge of the canyon should have been reported to the Park Rangers. That is totally illegal here. Please do not promote that behavior in your video. I am a shuttle driver for the NPS and I enjoy sharing information on all the amenities the park has to offer to my passengers. Loved your take on the train ride. Thank you for sharing the entire trip. The details are very helpful for future visitors.

Nice ride. Not particularly scenic or memorable. You have to love trains to ride this one. Staying at the El Tovar Hotel on the south rim is very nice and the highlight of the trip.
@brookswilson1072 I’ll say I wouldn’t necessarily have to do it again, but it was definitely memorable for us. The experience of the Grand Canyon Railway is unique and will always be tired to our experience at the Grand Canyon.
Wow!!!! It was such a good trip!!! I hope to be there in another two months and you helped me decide. My question is, if the train waits all day, or are there time restrictions for traveling alone, and how much does the expensive carriage cost? According to the video, it seems that it really pays to travel in the transparent trailer. Many many thanks for the upload, and cheers. For many, many more trips (and videos...)

@FreihEitner It was very nice! Once on a lifetime. I believe there are transportation options from both Sedona and Phoenix.
Coming from switzerland first of November to get this ride for the first time. Can't wait.

Lots of people were all ages, but yes all adults in the first class cars we booked.
