Lol I've been fishing fur 40 yrs and I just recently got my first hundred dollar reel and then ordered a 200 dollar reel...700 bucks is my mortgage payment...just crazy but super sexy
coming from an 4 months owner of the Steez SV TW, it’s definitely a all around work reel, besides from Punching/Flipping. But it may be do-able but i’d suggest the Steez A for more flipping/punching or even frogging.
@@michaelsoto4156 Steez in every aspect, best reel I’ve ever own. I only have 6 baitcast combos, 3 with the Steez & 3 with the DC. Dragging baits which I use the most has the Steez on em, moving baits has the DC
@@RowdyHaack 1/4oz + plastic is probably the lowest I go on any reel. Steez is way more controlled & better distance, the ‘24 DC can be finicky at times. I’ve had to cut out backlashes on the DC before, but I run my reels LOOSE. The ‘24 DC isn’t that better of a caster than the ‘20 Metanium, mainly cause my Metaniums were the JDM models with the smaller spools
@@livinglife3230 Thank you for the reply. I mainly fish the Texas Coast where 1/8 ounce jig plus plastic is pretty common. Sometimes even 1/16 ounce jig plus plastic. I have 2 BFS Reels that I frequently use, but was thinking about one of these two reels for the higher end of that range and for larger twitch baits. I have weighed most of my plastics and it usually comes around to 5-12 grams depending if I am using 1/16 or 1/8 jig head and 3.5 or 4.5 plastic.
Hard to justify spending $300+ with such great options available below that. All I know is y’all got everything I could ever want!
Great video dude! Steez 24 is by far best reel I've ever thrown. Actually, sold my Metanium 70 DC to buy another Steez 24...how good it is.
I’ve got a few ‘24 Metanium DC for applications I don’t use a lot, the ‘24 Steez for everything else
I purchased 2 Coastal SV TW 150XS reels. Don't care for the zero adjust spool or the 11 lb. drag. Thankfully they still make the old Tatula SV TWS!
Love the channel!
Thank you!!
What?? I’m in Oklahoma! I’ve have to come check the store out that’s cool.
That would be awesome!
I already own a 24 Steez.... and i am already debating on buying a 2nd one hahah.. Hands down the best BC i ever use.
Agreed!
I picked up my 2nd one last wk. Got one on my 893c & the other on my 873CRR
Got mine in Japan . A lot cheaper there and free shipping than the US
@@neihc1589 how much did you pay for the a2? I’m just curious
What is a high end daiwa reel for heavy lures
The Steez A2 for a conventional size or Tatula 300 for bigger baits
I can’t see how it can be better than the Bates Hundo.
It is much smoother than the Hundo for sure
Man I remember buying the Antares DC for 400 bones and being scared to put it in my kayak hahahah
How much is a steez a2?
Steez 24 sv tw 150 will push me over the edge. Mag sealed?
Sealed up

Ain’t no doubt about that!
Mortgage payment??? Where do you live?
Oh dang👀👀
What are the differences between steez sv and steez a? If I want to flip / punch which one would you use? Thanks

Whats the reason for you to say that? I have both reels just don't know which application to set it up with
How much better is this compared to previous model from 2016 or 17?
It feels much lighter than previous generations. Also it preforms much better thanks to the boost spool.
I replaced all my ‘20 Metaniums this year with the ‘24 Steez & ‘24 Metanium DC
@@livinglife3230 do you prefer the steez or the 24 met ?

@@livinglife3230 How do they compare on lighter lures? Around 3/16-14? My thought was the DC with a 70 size would throw it better, but does it?

I don't know if anyone can convince me that there's a finer low profile baitcaster in the game than a steez.
SLX has my heart
As good as the Steez AT ii alu. Frame 14:40
Much lighter overall and made for slightly lighter baits
You could buy two Zillions for the price of a Steez. Get the two Zillions instead.
Zillion is an amazing reel but the additional braking enhancements and smoothness of the Steez I would take it over a Zillion.
Reason it looks so good is because it looks like a shimano lol
