Congrats Bro
hello
Great draw but you said at the beginning that Juan is the strongest in the family. Pia has a higher peak rating than Juan and a far higher current rating. I think it’s safe to say Pia is the strongest in the family
@@alexanderlicudine2431 It’s debatable for sure.
One argument is that Bellón Lopez was peak in 1991 which is 17 years earlier than Pia’s peak in 2008. Hence given inflation in FIDE rating they are at least about the same peak.
I’m saying this because I’m not outright wrong here, it’s debatable.
@@thechessnerdrating inflation is not scientifically proven it's more of a myth, pia is superior and it can even be seen in annas videos where both pia and Juan handle certain positions
@@chisomchibuzo1204 "rating inflation is not scientifically proven" lol
@chisomchibuzo1204 yeah you obviously didn't read his comment. Juan's peak was a lot longer ago than pias peak. Hence Juan is more out of form than Pia is.
@@lucastothej it's not, the average level of skill is sure to increase as advancements are made, rating compares relative skill not talent, a 2600 now will still be favourite against Juan then regardless of your imaginary rating inflation
Congratulations on your first GM draw! 🎉🎉 awesome video, wish I could’ve seen the whole match!
What a game ! What a story with all these strong players analysing that one ! It must have been such an honnor to be part of it. Great recap as well !
Just insane
All the variations and tactics at the end of the game was dazzling. Thanks for the analysis.
dazzling is the perfect word
LESSGO!!! WE LEVELING UP! Very nice game, zach! Im proud of you, continue playing like this and you'll get your first title
Congratulations on drawing a GM! I'm a big fan of Anna and Pia and was happy to see one of Juan's games. I have to admit that I was rooting for Juan, but you played an excellent game and deserved a draw. Congrats!
No way he used Anna Crambling for the title rather than Juan or Pia 😂😂
Cramling ... and she's in the title because her name is far better known than her father's.
Loved watching this game!
My friend played Juan in the Swedish Chess League once also :D
Pia is definitely the strongest player in that family she low key destroyed him in a match they played in on anna ch it was a good match tho ^.^
You can’t use their games recently as examples. Juan is 70+ old and 13 years older than Pia. Pia also seems to be more active than Juan. He regressed a lot since his peak.
@@Somm_RJ Your comment makes no sense. The question is who is the stronger of the two, not who was stronger at their peak.
@@JimBalter with due respect to you, when people are talking about chess players strength, specially older chess players, they are generally talking about how strong they were at their peak. For example, Judit vs Humpy, you are talking about how strong they were they were.
@@JimBalter My google search of their peak ratings has Juan at 2510 and Pia at 2550, their current ratings are Juan: 2266 Pia: 2425 - so, what was the point?
What an amazing game, and such detailed analysis. Loved it! 👏👌
Congrats, bur Juan is no longer the strongest in his family. Sure it was true years ago, but now Pia is some 200 elo points higher.
Bro started the video with the closed eyes opening
Wonderful analysis. Congratulations!
@@uncharted1597 Sending you a ton of love ❤️
So glad this series is back

Juan has never been better than PIa
Juan Manuel Bellón López was Henrique Mecking's coach in the second half of the 70s.
Very instructive 👍
@@niclasvestman Thank you Niclas!
Fantastic game. Very well explained 🤗
Bravo, well done! Goes to show, all things being equal, that if a talented “amateur” manages to keep his head in a tactical shootout anything is possible, even vs a GM.
Congratulations!
What was Saine about to say 28:20😂😂
We didn't fuc# we didn't see it 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bro literally said the f word and thought we wouldn't notice
I was gonna comment about that 🤣
@@Shokoyle The f is the beginning of find. But even if he almost said it, the f-word in Dutch just means: oops, I remember now. He lives in the Netherlands.
Hey, just fyi, he is not Pia's husband. They are long time partners and coparents, but they are not married.
gratzeee sir!! keep grinding
Congrats, dude. Gj.
Well done getting a draw!
Such a beautiful game! Congrats!
Congratulations! A fist ever non-loss against a GM. A real landmark. Someday in the not-too-distant future, you will join their ranks.
@@dowaliby1 ❤️
congrats on getting to level 3.5! Keep up the good work.
When ones enthusiasm is prioritized higher than speaking respectfully about an elder opponent 😐
What did I say that was ever disrespectful? I have profound respect for Juan Manuel Bellón López.
congrats my man :D
where are your eyes
on vacation 😂
@@thechessnerdLol
Jeez now that you mentioned it I can’t stop looking at how weird it looks 😂
great game!
crazy game
The last Maia Open was a year ago??? I've been watching these for a while, eh?
no its this year
We're almost at 100 recaps since that tournament last year!!
I didnt know my fischer number is 5.😅
I beat my friend who beat the guy who beat eugene torre who beat tal who beat fischer.
Strong!!
I didn't analyse the final position, but do you really know the reason why he accepted the draw? Older people get milder and like to offer some positive stimulation to younger ones. Despite the fact that the latter often don't show the respect that someone with a lifetime experience deserves. So he could have done this to encourage you. I say all this because I've seen similar signals in other games. Eg Anna played a brilliant game against a older GM and almost won. It turns out that he told her the opening he would use 1/2 hour before they started. That shows he's a real gentleman and likes to stimulate the next generation chess players.
He accepted it because it's a dead drawn position and they're almost to time control ... it would be pointless to play on.
28:20 he said the f word
He was going to say “find”
The f is the beginning of find. But even if he almost said it, the f-word in Dutch just means: oops, I remember now. He lives in the Netherlands.
lol, he said the f word lol
So he would be saying they wouldn't have fucked in the analysis room😢
Oh you poor thing.
Who is Zachary Saine ,
Is that you.
I used to think this youtuber is Brother of alireza firouza
Bravo fantastick game🎉🎉
At this age they still can think better than most of us 😂
Then after you became so strong you would look likes gm alireza 😂😂😂😂
What board color did you use Zach????? looks very good

THE JAPANESE FOOD SOUNDING GAMBIT!!!
I think the content could be a bit more instructive on why some moves aren't actually options - it was a pretty long video where I got very little of that for myself who's familiar, but not good at chess edit: And I'm not saying dumb it down, but occasionally show why certain attractive options aren't good
That’s why we have the comment section :) Please tell me the instances you saw an attractive move and I will share my thoughts. Thanks for the feedback as well !
Is he even opened his eyes? 😂😂.
Hey zach... When do You have a Tournament in Belgium?
i wanna meet and beat you (im like 1000 elo :/)
Nice game ❤
The best one of the family is Pia Cramling, with a peak rating of 2550!
Ye she also currently has that strength. But irl we all know juan got that strength💀
@@WolfEyeGaming no she has 2437
@@manolobarranco4352 still good enough
I think in the world she is 32

craaaaaaazzzzzyyyyyyyy
A nail biter till the end! So, is your Fisher number now 3 or 4?
Still 4, you have to win!
How can he see

The f is the beginning of find. But even if he almost said it, the f-word in Dutch just means: oops, I remember now. He lives in the Netherlands.
c5 i dont like when you played i think you should put the pawn on c6 i agree with you Bc2 is bad cuse its always blocked with c6,his b4 move is so good cause if you take on b4 bb3 has a perpouse and can attack the pawn chain on d5 you can no longer protect it
also i think you can become very good player if you fix your strategic part of chess maybe even a gm cause iv seen alot of your games that what i see you lack the most what i suggest you to do is not read books but rather put strategical position on the computer and try to understand why the moves are played there is always a reason
@@skgontop I'm pretty sure he already has a coach
@@charlesfromm6133 its ok its good to share knowlege :)
Nice try sister..you try your best.. better luck next time ✨
Good one.
nice
Wouldve been cool if You played cow opening
And that's no bull!
current elo 2258 lol, you don't get bragging rights here isnt he like 80
hes not bragging bozo. He is sharing his exp playing the GM who is Anna's dad. You did not watch the video do you?
Im not 1st comment so just like this comment bcz you can
Just do it....
HERE!!!!!!!!
I said like this....
DONT SCROLL AWAY
DO IT!!!!
00:33 "Husband of Pia Cramling"
Bro where did you get that? They're not married lol 😭. Anna herself confirmed it on Gothamchess podcast
they are married. just search it up.
@@6121FRobotics
I don't need to, I know my facts and I gave a source. Your claim lacks evidence, what is your reference / source?
@@AB_Archivesgoogle says their married
@@AB_Archives I mean if you look it up it says they're married, if you go to Pia's wiki page it says that, I could be wrong tho
@@AB_Archives search up pia cramling Wikipedia page, it’s written very unambiguously. I wonder where you got so much confidence in an incorrect claim.
I mean Juan's peak is undeniably better than Pia's, but Pia is definitely the better chess player in their current form
I mean Pia's peak is 2550 and Juan's is 2510, so it's debatable who has the better peak when you take into account rating inflation and stuff
@@adifferentusername999juan is the better player before I guess he faced many legends

Did jacob aagard paid you for this video??

Well, nothing against Anna Cramling dad, but its not like u draw true "grandmaster" he is really far from his GM peak performance...
nothing against you but it isn't like you could beat anyone over 1000
@@fenec71__ Well, that is lie, my FIDE is around 1700, I played last time 7 years ago and now playing only online chess, hard to say if Im better or worse, but it just true statement that Anna Cramling dad is really bad GM, he is still GM, but comparing to others...
@@martin1258 I don't believe Anna Cramling’s dad is a "bad" GM. He retired from competitive play many years ago and no longer takes tournaments seriously. However, he still deserves respect as a veteran of the game, regardless of his current rating.
@martin1258 you can't spell in English it is Cramling's dad
@@pannenkoeksus I know, it is faster for me to type it this way, I am not native. But idk why u talking about it, just saying cramling dad is not good GM
