I watched this game live when I was in 5th grade. I was rooting for the Patriots. I for sure thought it was a fumble but I was hoping for a miracle. Glad there was a miracle. This game was a classic and you knew it even in the moment. After this night I just had a special feeling about the Patriots.
The rules about what is a catch had some ugly edge cases around then, and the tuck rule and the rules about catches going to the ground were an attempt to have a very clear line but they were too blunt an instrument. I get the call according to the rule, but it looks like a fumble and quacks like a fumble and only isn't a fumble to have an easy to adjudicate rule that gives dumb results sometimes.
This rule was nuts, it literally decided a ring because of the outcome of the rule. As a defense oriented person but as much as I love brady, that was a hard FUMBLE.
Wow what a moronic post. Not only did the patriots need an all time kick to just TIE it up but also another all time kick in overtime to win. Not to mention being massive underdogs to the Steelers in Pittsburgh and the Rams.
This wasn’t a scandal. It was the right call that had actually been used against the Patriots early in the season against the Jets. And if you really want to go old school it just makes up for 1976. Why don’t you look that up.
As a known Brady hater in my friend group, this just adds fuel to my fire haha. He's admittedly the greatest (not best) of all time but also the most overrated. I believe both can be true!
for me, the greatest means the greatest legacy, achievements, all around resume, etc. the best means the most skilled at the position. I think players like Peyton Manning, Marino, Rodgers, Brees and a few others are better quarterbacks that Brady. If you put Peyton Manning on the Patriots all those years they'd have 5 super bowls in the 2000's in my opinion. People always forget that a Super Bowl is a TEAM achievement, not one player. So people discount many QBs due to a lack of rings which is silly to me.@@larrykutchen536
I imagine the greatest would represent his accomplishments such as his 7 super bowls and longevity, however he isn’t the most talented or ‘best’ we’ve ever seen which I can agree with
The Raiders choked and use the tuck rule as an excuse. You should never put yourself in a position where a single decision by the refs can decide the outcome of the game. Also, the Raiders had MULTIPLE chances to stop the Patriots before and after the tuck rule play. If the Raiders had bothered to show up for the fourth quarter and overtime, they would’ve won easily. They severely underestimated New England and they have no one to blame but themselves for that loss.
Very nice video. I'm a Raider fan and this is the first time I got "rage tingles". 🤣🤣
I’m a patriots fan. That was 100% a fumble lol however I’m loving these ASMR sports videos coming from your channel!!

As a Raiders fan who was watching that game that day, this injustice will never be resolved.
I love this video idea. Combines asmr and sports, my two favorite things.

Moose, what a snazzy little badge next to your name! Definitely a fumble by today's rules 😅
A girl who knows sports is so attractive 😍
Yes he tucked the ball and then got it punched out therefore he fumbled in my opinion

not really disagreeing--but wondering if you could clarify: the difference between "the best" and "the greatest"?
