Remember to look after yourself. You don't have to sacrifice everything you enjoy to be closer to God. He loves you unconditionally and is present with you always. It's not something you always have to feel - he is with you always regardless. Also it is not your fault if you are not 'feeling on fire for God' at the moment. Feeling that doesn't make a person any better or worse of a Christian. You are doing great. I'm sure God is proud of you. Please look after yourself while you're taking this break.
As someone who also spends most of their time consumed by TH-cam, I definitely needed to hear this. Thank you for inspiring me to get rid of TH-cam for a while as well. I've been praying for a sign to get rid of it, and I think the Lord is speaking to me through you. May God bless you abundantly in this season, I'm so proud of you for choosing Him!
I have actually been convicted of the same thing recently! It's nice to know someone else is going to take a break from TH-cam to get closer to God as well. I'm praying for us both, AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I really admire that you are giving up something very difficult for you to do. Whenever we make sacrifices, we are uniting our suffering with His Passion, so our hearts may become like His. Our Lord surely notices how much you want to grow in your relationship with Him and take up your cross to follow Him. Sometimes I like to say short prayers to myself throughout the day to keep my mind in the presence of God. “Jesus, mercy” or “Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto thine” are ones I like to use. It’s a small act but it has helped me so I thought I would share it with you. I hope you have a fruitful December and a Merry Christmas. 😊✝️

Hello Daughter of God, God Bless you much. It’s the first time I see you and I was delighted with your video. Which you talk about why you are going to be baptized. YOUR FAITH IS INCREDIBLE. There is something that the Holy Spirit ley me know and that is to highlight that the moment you mentioned that you started praying, your sleep improved and anxiety began to go down. Why do i mention this? Because i had problems with anger and i told my mother to give me some advice and she told me to tell God change my character. I asked God and Im start to feel diferent, something is change. So yeah, work. I belive that it was God had change me. And i have a lot examples. Like be patient, be more relaxed. A lot of things, but i have a problem, i stop praiying for that things but God did not left me, he continue to blessing me with a lot of things. So yeah. The praiying, reading and the fasted is the more important thing in a Cristian. I hope we will meet in heaven. Take care of yourself. Keep asking and talking to God about all linda of things, from your concerns to those of others. Let us pray for each other. Amen.❤
