One cool thing my church does is after they do the scheduled baptisms they allow for anyone else to do it last minute, providing extra towels, and then they let anyone who wants to come up to put their hand in the water to remind themselves of when they were baptized previously.

It's a great experience. Your journey is inspiring! Keep holding fast to Jesus as the Rock. I got baptized earlier in my life. I am absolutely glad I did to this day. Over a year ago, i had an episode that the doctors diagnosed as acute psychosis. For some reason, my expectations for myself and others were keeping my eyes on myself only, and the devil was accusing me and attacjinb me with visual and auitory hallucinations. I had two smaller occasions of these visions, but in September, i was reminded of the fact that my life is in God's hands and it is only by him that i know and believe in Jesus and what he has done. Isn't such relief to know that He did it all on that cross. My anxiety has gone away almost completely since then. I do wish that I would have preached the gospek to myself m9re and refkected on my commitment i made with my baptism. Remember that the baptism of the Holy Spirit began the moment you blieved in the saving power of the gospel, which is Christ Jesus. God bless you, and may your water baptism be an indiscibable joy and reminder to you as well. God bless.

lovely!!! If your looking for nice church denominations to join first opc is a lovely one. Thats what i am and its amazing. It is heavily Bible based and the sermons are normally very insightful. ❤

Something I'd recommend to help you (despite I also struggle with Gluttony sometimes) use the scripture that Jesus used when he got tempted by Satan. [Matthew 4:4, KJV] But he answered and He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread, alone but by every word that proceedeth put of the mouth of God.
