I like to look at sin in the same way that most of us look at God and jesus as fatherly figures. Sin is basically any action that can potentially disappoint God. Breaking the rules(10 commandments)are a sure fire way to disappoint God. As all of us know however, you can follow all of the rules and still be a disappointment. Sin lurks in all of the cracks and crevasses of our lives. You can sin without even realizing it. There are sins that are not even mentioned in the Bible. It is pretty much impossible to avoid sinning. What isn't impossible is asking for forgiveness. Rather than concerning ourselves if every action we take could be potentially sinful, we should follow the teachings of Jesus (especially the golden rule). We should take a step back and look at how our sin affects us and everything around us, and we should try to better ourselves as human beings. From one sinner to another, God bless.

Good video. I would say if you are a Christian furry, then be wary of lust and pride. Its a hard truth to swallow, but both are highly prevalent in the fandom. I don't like it either, but it is what it is. In the same way one does not have to party with drunkards in a bar in order to enjoy a cool refreshing beer, a furry enjoyer is not required to interact with the rest of the fandom to do what they enjoy. Go it alone if you find that your behavior is getting out of hand is what I say.
@hungrypizzafox being proud of one's own self or identity to the detriment of the one who made them. Treating their created identity as their very selves.
It's like asking if being a comedian is a sin, or being a musician is a sin. On its own, heck no. Furry is a form of entertainment, based on a genre of fantasy (talking animals), used to entertain people - children and adults alike. There are plenty of other things the Bible calls sin, and this is not one of them; creativity, artistry, imagination, and performance are not sinful. Someone else pointed out rightly that it's impossible to avoid all sins, but we ought to avoid the ones we know about. A dose of sobriety is needed -- the furry community will inevitably lead you into temptation, through all types of sexualized materials that most furries do not have a problem creating or circulating. There are a small number of safe places, but the need to constantly be on guard has sent me away from the furry fandom a few times throughout my life. Furries are very friend-shaped, and it is easy - so easy - to fall in love with them, but that makes it easier to be exploited in your thoughts and feelings, or to exploit others knowingly or unknowingly, and so it is important to carefully choose friends and trusted people to be your sources of safe and clean entertainment. Don't try to sneak into 18+ areas; much of the content in an 18+ or 'nsfw' area of the fandom also isn't suitable for an adult person trying to keep their lives clean. And avoid making idols in any image of a person, animal, or fish (or anything else); if becoming the likeness of something other than Jesus takes over your priorities, it's time to reevaluate what you are doing.
I think it's like how back in the day the Church was saying steam-powered trains are a sin because it was a new & not yet understandable technology at the time, and yet Thomas the Tank Engine, the most famous & beloved steam train franchise that made people fall in love with steam trains, was created by a Church reverend(Reverend Wilbert Vere Awdry) because he loved trains himself.

A good metric for whether something is sinful is to ask "would I do this in a church?". Everyone has things they feel would be inappropriate to do in a church - even if no one else was there to see you do it. Why is that? Because a part of you knows that it would be disrespectful to do those things when God is watching. But God is always watching, so anything you wouldn't do in a church, you really shouldn't be doing at all, otherwise your respect for God is changing based on what's convenient for you at the time.
