You know you're in for a belter when you're questioning Egg's sanity part way through a build! Those prop buildings add so much character to the stadium! Love it!
Fantastic build as always Egg. An idea for what you could do in the remaining area, is to build a Retail Park, which would tie in with the UK side of the river. And you often find them on the outskirts of town/city. Both having easy access to the highway network and providing an escape for those in the city centre to do some well needed shopping in a single area, rather than running around the city centre to different stores. This modern build would tie in with the idea that the city is growing and still providing services for the people. And it could also be a spot to hang out at too prior to a big match day.
I'm fairly certain that Egg giggles when he its his favorite ice cream "I Really like this", spoon and "Tuff Tuff" sounds "If it fits it sits". Love the work Egg keep it up :)
Love the stadium, been waiting for my CS2 Egg fix. I don't know if its the best location for it, but I'd love to see a golf course build in Egginburgh. Happy new year my man.
I love you Egg and you’re a master of this game but man, that bridge over the train station. I have… reservations. Happy new year and I hope you’ve had a good Christmas period
Hey Egg, you could design the water front like the one in Wellington NZ. It would also be a nice homage to Thessia as you said you were thinking about having an nz town in it
Explore entertainment near the stadium along the waterfront. It's screaming out for it having cims hustling and bustling around that stadium area. And you got plenty of parking to accommodate it.
I sat here with a 🤨 look on my face trying to figure out what in the world you were doing with the stadium and thinking that's not going to work! And low and behold it looks magical!!! I don't know how in the world you come up with those ideas but it always looks good even if we all wonder to begin with 😄 Master of infrastructure and mergers! Great build OE!🤩
Maybe a fun park along the waters edge past the stadium there. Opposite the industrial across the water. Would bring lots of people to the Rumbridge area to use the parking and new transport infrastructure. There’s sure to be a play on words somewhere with Fun and Rum 🤣 Love the series Egg. Keep it up! Ps: please use more pathways like you used to in your old CS1 builds to make things more walkable! Get that walking porn going more!
Happy new year Mr. Egg 🥚 As for the idea for the waterfront maybe something art related or something like that 🤔 Can't wait until they release the game on console somehow
I really like the new Stadium. But i would still suggest, to move the walking Bridge beside the big Bridge nearer to the bridge and make use of the existing pillars. I think it does not make sense to build a second bridge like that. :)
Gives the new Everton stadium vibes cool build not all stadiums should be massive and it hits different when the stadium is in the waterfront. I hope you surround the area next to it with British houses to look like Anfield road or merseyside
Great use of prop buildings to make that wrap around much more realistic? Are there any service block type assets that would generate a real buzz at the stadium like in CS1?
When you get to the end of this waterfront block, can you do some terrain alteration to make the next chunk like marshland so that it makes sense why it hasn't been developed?
Great asset use Egg! You don't actually need that full football ground though, there is half-pitch decal, although that of course is only a decal and has no "parky" aspects. Looking forward to seeing who plays at the Firthside Stadium... or rather the Bentzel Firthside Stadium! Gotta play in red of course, given the Brentford like vibe of the red webbing on the outside (which looks epic BTW).
I'm a pretty new player, and I need help lol. My town just got to 20k, and suddenly, both my ingoing and outgoing population has stagnated (like 30 folks moving in and out a month, and a steadily growing pop from birth-death rates), and my residential demand has totally dried up. Industry and commercial demand is weird. I found out that *so* much of my commercial is just lying empty, but every now and again I'll just get a random spike of commercial, which will then fade if I do nothing. If I zone some commercial, that shop will get filled while the old shop next door lies empty. That can't be working as intended? As for industry, I seemingly can get endless industrial demand. Now's a good time to bring up that I only have like a 2% unemployment rate, so if i zone new businesses, they just moan about no workers (but residential demand doesn't go up). Furthermore, if I just let the sim run, my unemployment rate skyrockets up to like 50% and industry businesses are just lying empty, alongside most of my commercial. Sorry for the long comment, but I am just lost. Everything was fine, then suddenly I think my town is just going to die. I'm honestly pretty mad, as I've really invested time and effort into detailing. I'm pretty certain I'm looking at bugs, but it'd be nice to know what they are and how to fix them. Thanks - and happy new year! Edit: FIX - Download "bye bye homeless mod".
@@OVERCHARGEDEGG Cheers, I'll think about it. Right now I'm damn burned out and my will has been broken from trying to work it out today lol. I was just hoping someone would see something in this comment and go "aha, I know what's causing that"
I can think of 2 things. Check your taxes? Businesses move out when taxes go over 10 or 11%, so that could be why you have a lot of commercial buildings sitting empty. Messed up residential demand could be the homeless bug. They fixed most of it but some people might still be having issues. Try installing the Bye Bye Homeless mod to see if that helps.
@@carinelai4786 @OVERCHARGEDEGG FIX FOR ANYONE WITH THESE KINDS OF PROBLEMS: It seems to be the homeless bug that I thought they were meant to have fixed. I installed "Bye bye homeless", let it run for a while and pressed some of the setting options like "deport homeless", and things seem to be okay again. I'm seeing massive growth and demand once again. If it wasn't for that mod, my game would have been screwed. Shame on the devs for leaving game-nuking bugs like that in the game for so long and leaving modders to pick up the slack.

Build looks great, had a little chuckle at the Runescape reference. Excited to keep following your builds into the new year!
You are just a fantastic detailer! 🙂
You're too kind mate, made my year, thank you!
Reminde me of new Everton as in location
I'm fairly certain that Egg giggles when he its his favorite ice cream "I Really like this", spoon and "Tuff Tuff" sounds "If it fits it sits".
Love the work Egg keep it up :)
A big screen outside the stadium would be class
Also a bit of staining in the concrete areas
Love the stadium, been waiting for my CS2 Egg fix. I don't know if its the best location for it, but I'd love to see a golf course build in Egginburgh. Happy new year my man.
Very nice stadium buddy, great choice of prop buildings for the exterior 👏
Cheers mate!
What better way to start the year than with a new Egg build!
Happy 2025 🎉
The best start to the new year is watching your video and seeing Rumbridge come to life! Brilliant build! Cheers, and Happy New Year!

Great job on the custom pitch!
Happy New Year Egg! Let's get some pubs near that stadium. 🎉
Great video as always!

Happy New Year for 2025, Egg. Watching on the night of the 1/1/25. That looks cool, M8.
Happy new year Mr. Egg 🥚

You could totally make Luton's stadium now. Complete with the entrance through terraced houses.
Lovely build! I feel like the stadium is missing some lighting to play evening matches?
Oh boy! I love me some staduims!
Happy New Year ❤️

It does, maybe worth a look around Liverpool for some inspo
Frohes neues Jahr 2025🎉 Egg
How about a fish harbor?
Love this Kind of mudular builds. Will you bring back a modular build Series like in cs 1?
Awesome build mate!! Made me want to play CS2! Might have to invest in a PC after all, still no news on a Mac launch 😢
I think you should build a leisure area along the waterfront.
Great use of prop buildings to make that wrap around much more realistic? Are there any service block type assets that would generate a real buzz at the stadium like in CS1?
Is there a concert venue asset that you could ass? The area waterfront next to the stadium looks like a great place for a big entertainment district.
lumbridge the first town you start at in RuneScape. 😂
When you get to the end of this waterfront block, can you do some terrain alteration to make the next chunk like marshland so that it makes sense why it hasn't been developed?
an Olympic park should be great along shore line and the stadium
Amazing

Hey Egg!! How about a waterfront stage/concert area and an open art gallery park?
Great idea! Big concert park next to this stadium, lets do it!
Hi what are the mods that u need for this as I can't find them
😮Nice! How'd you remove the no road label from your stadium? 🤨
dont know why but with blue seats and its location this looks exactly like everton's new stadium not the design
More then a year since release, we still don't have good stadiums
What a shame
Compliments for 2025 🎉
