What a great expansion to Rannoch! I would suggest to have a Rannoch Express Train for the airport only like the Gatwick Express for example 😊 Overall thank you for such a great episode! Looking forward for the next one! 🙃
Love the airport build and all the infrastructure around it!! It's busy with people bustling about and lots for them to see and do while picking up passengers or being passengers themselves!! Great build OE 🤩
Just some friendly insight about airport fuel depots. They are typically nearby off sight and pumped to the airfield for safety reasons. Keep it up, love the content.
hey egg! loved the episode! making this secondary high density area an old town with lots of european assets/zoning and some mountain village and art deco assets could be really nice and would distinguish it from the modern downtown! it would be a great excuse to include the old market train station which is elevated and a really nice asset!
I suggest to make the airport a hub also for buses. Dublin Airport is a great example of this, being served by airport express routes like Aircoach and Dublin Express, and also being a hub for local bus operators Dublin Bus and Go-Ahead Ireland. A small bus terminal in between the train and metro stations would be cool, i suggest to do it custom-made with those bus-pedestrian roads, since the bus stops will get little shelters. They have bus shelters at the Dublin Airport bus hub. I also suggest making an airport express train line for Rannoch. With those bypass stations, the line was practically made for them. Have the line skip all stations that have bypass tracks for speed. I also suggest using the Vehicles of the world ”High Speed Train” for the line since you almost never use it and the line is indeed a fast one.
What a wonderful build Egg. I love anything with trains, planes, metro etc. I also hope this not the last CS1 build you do. There are a lot of us wishing you'd continue after Rannoch is finished, despite CS2 getting it's perks. Cheers 💙💙
100% loving all the hotels, yes Heathrow is amazing how many there are. I wonder if there would be scope for helicopter depots but don’t want the airport police coming after me! I’m not surprised the train isn’t getting much use as it’s ultimately connecting to intercity connections - it’d be a shame if someone just landed and decided to get a train straight out of the city 😂
Yo egg, dare i suggest to use keybindings to select snapping to angles, guidelines etc. Massive shoutout to your CS1 content you are the GOAT in my opinion.
Mmmm, complete satisfaction 🤤 . Love seeing the planes come in over the highways. As far as flight paths, so far this one seems to be the best you've done. I also like the density around the airport .
I really wish they had more props for an airport, like an ALS lighting system, an ARS, and either an AWOS or ASOS for more realism. I also think you need a road to the control tower and a police and fire department on site.
I love your detailing. So I want play Cities again but I can’t set my graphic settings to look like yours. Can you help me please? I’m using the same mods and I have almost the same PC but my graphic is worse somehow…
Lovely build, Egg. How do you keep your airport traffic so low. No matter the size airport I build, the facility just gets cluttered with runway and taxi traffic.
I have a question about the control tower, how are the workers going to get back and forth from it without walking next to a bunch of active planes? Wont that constant level of engine noise damage their hearing?
Man, I like the build itself, but I think that prime waterfront real estate would be better suited for residential and commercial uses. However, that's a general opinion of mine, I never like it when airports are near the sea. There's also concerns about the elevated road and metro being in the way of landing planes. The metro line in particular should really be lower, at least at the road's level, and maybe even lower to avoid causing conflicts. Good job that aside, though, good job.
The one thing that's killing me is that your taxiways don't connect with the runway apron (the very start of the runway where planes turn, hold short and takeoff from.) Why would they spend millions of $s to build 100s of feet of unusable runway? Intersection takeoffs are a thing but you've got to make the full length of the runway available for big planes or it looks silly, imho.
I just wanted to say that i absolutely love cs 1, and hope that this series can go on as long as possible!
We'll go to the node count ☺ Thanks for watching it!
I think the trams would get more use if there were a dedicated line for the hotels and offices that ran in a loop
Next episode 😎🍻

this airport is a TSA nightmare

I've taken it in a slightly different direction but I certainly want to work in some old town near our main centre 😁
The runway on the quay peninsula looks so good! Wonderful symmetry and great overall placement.

You're the only channel that I add to my "watch later" playlist

Two eggs today? Both perfectly cooked, as usual

Nicely done. As you may guess I really like the control tower on its own little concourse.
I love this series! I have a 4 day weekend to work on my build along. CS1 is the best!
The aircraft reversing down the entire taxiway made me inordinately happy this morning 😂
Another spec build Egg, mate as you do. Love Rannoch at night.
Love the airport but i hate to be that guy but it is bugging me that you put the control tower in completely the wrong place.
Yea that control tower is a safety hazard 😂😅 imagine trying to land on a windy day💀 then imagine being in the tower watching them try to land😅
That airport looks fire!
The flooded diamond looks like the A421 between Milton Keynes and Bedford during the heavy rain in October.
Never been happier for my 11am to cancel on me!

Always love watching your videos :) Kia Ora from New Zealand
That night view. 😊
gorgeous build
Please incorporate an AMUSEMENT PARK ❤️❤️
Looks amazing!!

Sounds like too many active flights. More outside connection transit can help those tourists enter the city other than the airport
@OVERCHARGEDEGG Thank you so much!
AMAZING ‼️
Commenting to show my support bc I am broke!!
❤❤❤
Have an awesome day!
I have a question about the control tower, how are the workers going to get back and forth from it without walking next to a bunch of active planes? Wont that constant level of engine noise damage their hearing?
I imagine people working on airfields probably wear ear protection around that many jet engines
What’s that? Egg dropped an airport build? Go ahead and clear my morning.
Hi what mod do you use to remove pollution?
HideIt, you can toggle many features of the game
@@OVERCHARGEDEGG thank you😘
i’m not an Airportologist but is the runway facing the right direction?
if planes don’t stop on time it could get soggy quick
I wonder if the highway network is too elevated by the runway. Looks kinda dicey landind a plane against those road/railways at that angle.
true - sideways landing it is then
They would but theres tons of examples of runway piers across the world 😌

Personally, I think the complex is much too big for a regional airport, but it still looks good...
Very nicely built mate...
first view and commenttt???
