Did you, by chance, try to fast reel throwing into the schools breaking the water? I have a lot of luck just casting, reeling fast, and recasting. I've never been able to out reel a Spanish or king. Looks like you had a good trip. What time of year was this?

No I did not. Used live bait since they were running. I would throw spoons and fast reel if I didn’t have live bait. Fall time was best
