Did you, by chance, try to fast reel throwing into the schools breaking the water? I have a lot of luck just casting, reeling fast, and recasting. I've never been able to out reel a Spanish or king. Looks like you had a good trip. What time of year was this?

Hi. Thanks for the great video. I got a question. I am from Turkey and i visit NC and fish lake Hickory every May-June. I fish on my float tube without any electronics. I’m a little bored of catching the same species. Do you think i have a chance with crappies? Can i just go randomly send my crappie jig down and catch them at random spots? Or is this gonna be a waste of time. Thank you.

I troll like this for spotted bass on Belews lake. Most bass fisherman look at me kinda weird when I troll by them with what looks like a striper set up but hey it works :)
