  • Today we try some local pastries and visit the #KualaLumpurButterflyPark. We love butterflies have have been to such parks in many countries but so far in our experience Kuala Lumpur has the best! Lush plants and water features fill the large enclosure full of a diverse array of butterflies for a magical, relaxing escape from life as we wander the tranquil paths to the sound of water. It's Day 6 on the Daily Taste #travelvlog.
Embark on our Daily Taste Series as we take you on a virtual journey inside our full-time travel life. Love the butterflies! BTW, brita filters don't filter the bad stuff!!!

Thanks for the Brita info, my experienced nomad friend!

Have you researched using a Brita filter on the tap water? I would think it would be cheaper and easier than hauling all that bottled water.

@@carolinacadabra8278 we have a water filter bottle that’s supposed to be great so early on, in Bali, when we ran out of the bottled water the hotel supplied, we decided to filter our own. We also boiled it in the kettle. That’s the only time we’ve been sick….both had Bali belly for a week. It’s impossible to know for sure whether it was that water that caused it but we hadn’t eaten the same foods really except for a couple bites of a burger. It’s hard to know for sure but after that we feel more comfortable with bottled water. We still have the filter “just in case”. I know some nomads do filter.
