Yes, I like top sheets! And I really appreciate your comment about the heaviness of the duvets necessitating keeping the AC low at night to keep from getting too warm. My partner and I have had the same issue while traveling. It bothers me to waste energy like that, only to have to get up in the morning to an uncomfortably cold room while the weather is warm outside - so ironic! Anyway, thanks for acknowledging this even if we can't do anything about it.
Exactly! You’d think the owners would realize this and want to save $ on power.
Absolutely to top sheets!
Thanks for adding your vote!😊
I’m with you about needing a top sheet & the struggle with balancing room temperature with the type/amount of bedding!! But, I guess that not having the “ideal” bedding while you travel the world is a fortunate problem to have!
I’ve adjusted far better than I thought I could! Not a big deal when you wake up in incredible places every day😊
I stayed in one ABB that was loaded with kitchen and dining supplies. I theorized that granny had passed on and they had converted her apartment to a rental without cleaning much stuff out.
It’s amazing how they vary!
I love a good top sheet also but rarely find them in my travels.
😥
Hey, we are full time travelers and couldn’t agree more with all you said. We love our Turkish towels; don’t have magnet hooks but travel with suction hooks. If a Air B&B is being chintzy with towels, sheets, cups, plates, pots, pans, etc., we ask for more on day 1 and they usually bring more over the same day. A lot of times the pans are so disgusting we cant use them and we request new ones and they bring them right over. Agree with the small size and bad location of TV’s. We have Nord VPN set for USA on our Firestick and have had no problem getting Netflix everywhere and we are usually out of the US for 9 to 12 months at a time. Hulu will usually detect the VPN after a while but we switch the VPN to another city and are fine. BUT, access to the back of the TV can be a problem and no electric plug in close proximity to TV can be another problem. We are currently in South America so we travel with a 110w extension cord but the extension cords in 240w countries (SE Asia, EU, etc) are too big to travel with. Happy travels
Thanks for watching, and for sharing your experienced tips!
