Hi James! Thanks so much :) This is so cool that you guys are spending 3 months in KL 🥰 It's such a cool city. Don't forget about the suburbs ok? Superb guide. A tip on getting cash in Malaysia - Some ATMs charge no fees and some are higher fees - I used the the ATM Fee Saver mobile app - it gave a list of the fee free and low fee ATMs in Malaysia. Also showed the withdrawal limits of the ATMs there for foreign card holders. Was very handy to save up on unnecessary expenses. Worth adding to your list!

Nice vlog! Great to learn you have enjoyed your stay in Malaysia, it's been so many years I am here as an expatriate and one thing I must say is that the country never gets boring.
The biggest advantage of Malaysia is the cultural differences among races, traditions, religions, belief systems. However, as Malaysians, we can be proud of our differences and united by universal values. We accept that multiple races live in harmony as one extended family. We are welcome you return to Malaysia perhaps make this land as your digital nomad hub to others countries in South east Asia and South Asia.
Yes, we really loved the diversity and the warmth of the people ❤️ Not sure if we can settle down just yet, but we will be back for sure! Hopefully many times! 🫰🏼🇲🇾

Thank you for the video, for promoting Malaysia☺️. Some fun fact and trivia: Regarding the oil palm, we comply to the RSPO / MSPO to ensure sustainability. Bunch of money was pumped into research to ensure sustainability of the environment and work-force welfare. Besides, POME ("waste" from oil palm mill) was said to be an alternative to the non-renewable fossil fuels and studies has been done since the 1980's. So, I believe that oil palm might be more sustainable than you think (since we comply with the MSPO) ☺️. Furthermore, some of the crops out there are also bringing negative impacts to the environment, it is just that in one faithful day, someone from somewhere decided to study how oil palm plantation damages the environment 😂. I think, in general, development of a country needs money and space; hence, deforestation is kind of inevitable, it is just a matter of how to do it more sustainably. And agriculture in most case damages the environment, it is also just how to do it more sustainably. I think for Malaysia, we did good but we can do it better and we will still do it better. ☺️ Again, thank you for the kind words and comments for our country❤. For the trash we hope that we can do it better😊. Reference (some of it) www.mpocc.org.my/about-mspo www.mpocc.org.my/mspo-blogs/ipcc-report-malaysian-sustainable-palm-oil energsustainsoc.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s13705-020-00269-y link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12257-019-0401-2
Thank you for kindly providing citations to counter this demonization of palm oil, particularly in Malaysia. What they don't say is that out of all the alternative oils the west could offer, palm oil is still the most sustainable in terms of yield per square land alone. It takes so much more carbon print to produce any other alternative oil, not to mention, unlike palm oil, those oil are known to be omega 6 bomb, feeding body inflammation and making our body burn under the sun. As someone with history of severe eczema and other histamine issues, the last point is important since Malaysia being a palm oil producer means there will be a lot of choice for me to choose should things gets severe and GAPS diet becomes necessary. I can eat fried delicacies with no problem due to this reason.
Hopefully pls come again our country Malaysia for the next time. We always waiting both of you come back for your second home in our Country Malaysia. Tqsm your lovely journey in here Malaysia. Have A Good Day. Smile Always . PEACE.
KL is also a good hub for air travel for example if you want to divide from danang Vietnam over to Kathmandu it's much cheaper to fly down to KL and then fly up to Kathmandu. The fact flying out of KL anywhere is very very cheap.
Malaysia is definitely NOT "truly a right tourist destination for any travelers". Thailand is. Malaysia is suited for older travelers who won't mind going miles to find a decent pub/bar to have a nice cold beer.. It's also great for 30+ couples. Also, Malaysian "resorts" have the lowest standards compared to neighboring Thailand, and even Indonesia, where you can find cleaner, more modern & well equipped accommodations for 1/3rd of the price you pay in Malaysia. And don't even get me started about Malay "cuisine"... Which is, sorry to say, not that great either, again compared to other South East Asian countries (I've visited most of them). Belacan is sometimes too dominant in your stews and sauces, which makes the food unbearably stinky. Indian or Chinese restaurants in Malaysia are better imo.
Although, you guys had a limited time of 30 days, you did well in discovering Malaysia. To know Malaysia is to love Malaysia, and Malaysia Truly Asia, is not just a concept but a spirit that simply overwhelms a visitor. You have produced a good set of videos of Malaysia that provides the viewer with informative and entertaining clips. Lastly, this very particular episode has been put together very well and I am sure the viewers wherever they may be, will have a very good idea of beautiful Malaysia and the adventures that await them in Malaysia. Please come again.
We will be back ❤️ It's hard to put into words how special Malaysia is, but we just wanted people to know that they should not hesitate to visit and see it all for themselves! 🇲🇾 Our next trip will be 30 days as well :)
Hi guys ! Thanks you so much for another great video. I really love this format, it's so informative and on point. Looking forward for the next adventure !
Next visit do visit Malaysia own Maldives please..the pristine beaches and islands of Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Rendang, Pulau Kapas, Pulau Babi Besar, Pulau Tioman..you can snorkeling and diving with turtles and beautiful coral fishes there, they're in the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia.. Thanks for visiting Malaysia 🇲🇾👍❤️✌️
On recommendations, East coast peninsular Malaysia is relatively unexplored. It has some of the most gorgeous islands. We are currently trying to complete our small towns series in Peninsular malaysia right now. We are both Malaysian so it makes things easier. This is just to inform that even for locals, there are always places to explore.
Guys, for your info....asala mualaikum...is a greeting by Muslim.... normally Malaysia Muslim won't return your greeting in maalailum salam...they'll reply in hello, welcome, selamat pagi.... So it's better to greet in selamat.....
Literally just searched "travel malaysia" and your video came up first. I love the way you structured this video and it is so informative! I'm excited to check out the pdf and your vlogs. Thank you so much!! One question, did street food stands or restaurants there have signs or anything that indicated food was halal? I would assume halal food is easily accessible but figured I'd ask if you noticed at all.
Hi! Thanks so much for watching. Happy to hear you liked it :) It really depends on where you go. If it's Malay food then it's most likely going to be Halal, but if it's Chinese or Indian, you would have to ask because not all of them say it is. Most Chinese places won't be Halal, but some do say it, so it really depends. Hope this makes sense and safe travels to Malaysia 🇲🇾

Again, thank you for the kind words and comments for our country❤. For the trash we hope that we can do it better😊.

Terima kasih ( Thank You )
Jumpa Lagi ( see you again ).

KL is also a good hub for air travel for example if you want to divide from danang Vietnam over to Kathmandu it's much cheaper to fly down to KL and then fly up to Kathmandu. The fact flying out of KL anywhere is very very cheap.
It's true! It's also a very fun/comfortable/affordable place to get over jetlag for a few days before going somewhere else.
Yea, malaysia is truly a r8 tourist destination for any travelers. Thanks for your honest review.
We love Malaysia so much ❤️🇲🇾
Malaysia is definitely NOT "truly a right tourist destination for any travelers". Indian or Chinese restaurants in Malaysia are better imo.
great video. Thank you this was quite helpful for my planning :)
Great video! Excellent round up.

great video, very helpful!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for sharing!! We hope we can see more of Malaysia next time :)
Life is short. Make it meaningful for both of you. Love each other and love peace. Please do come back! See you again. Fr Sarawak. ❤
Yes, so true. We can't wait to be back! We know Sarawak is on the books for us for next time :) Thanks ❤️
Guys, for your info....asala mualaikum...is a greeting by Muslim.... normally Malaysia Muslim won't return your greeting in maalailum salam...they'll reply in hello, welcome, selamat pagi....
So it's better to greet in selamat.....
Yes exactly. We got greeted like that many times though, that's why we shared it. But hello is the most common greeting ;)
Welcome to Malaysia Again 🎉
Thank you!! :)
@@waysoftheworld_ Totally makes sense, thank you! btw I don't know how you guys aren't one of those million subscriber travel channels because your content quality is up there!
Next trip your itenary also should include Kelantan, Terengganu Pahang for foods like nasi kerabu, nasi dagang and keropok lekor.
