    You got her then....
    Congratulations 🎉🥳
    Enjoying my 350cc Meteor
    Either the Triumph 400cc scrambler or the new himmy 450 is the future distant dream... Unless I buy your Meteor 650 in 6 months... Say 140/150k ish provided km not to far beyond 20k 👍

      Yes I got her at last. But certain things are better on the 350. Glad you got one at last. Did you ever make it to Thailand? Enjoy. Happy riding 🙏

      @@Teacher-T-Thailand she's stored with a mate in Bangkok while I visa hop to Cambodia... 700km in one shot 🤣 10hrs .. Bit silly... Over cooked her, caused an oil leak... This 400cc - 450 cc segment is getting pretty darned exciting. I've just spied the upcoming KTM390 adventure, looks sweet. The new himmy got some competition but I'm an Enfield man at heart... If the funds are there new himmy... If not I would actually be quite content with the original.

      It’s all filmed. Just finding the time to piece it together. It will be an even better video on the return leg 🙏

    If I wouldn’t have my 2004 HD Sportster 1200 C, I would be on the list for the SuperMeteor…
    Test rode the bike in summer at my local RE dealer and was impressed!
    Very nice handling and comfortable seating position, perfect gearing for this engine (3rd can come down nearly to walking speed and accelerates from there with out a problem and hacking the chain) - a bit a higher CoG as the Sportster, but more space for the passenger, especially the touring version.
    Will keep my trusty old companion, but will add a 350 Bullet or Classic in late spring as a daily and give the scooter (Honda PCX 125) to my girlfriend, who just made her 125cc license.
    Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

      Glad to hear I'm being watched in Germany. HD is the holy grail of bikes here in Thailand, and they do sound great in a convoy. The J series new bikes with the 350 engine are great bikes. I'm missing mine already . 🙏

    Well, I’ve finally gone a done it, I’ve ordered a new Super Meaty in Celestial blue. My first test ride was uninspiring, as it was raining and it had a screen which I had a job to see through, “an no waterproofs” so not in the best of moods. Impulse bought a Triumph Speedmaster, boy was that a mistake 😏 I nicknamed it the Barge, co’s that what it felt like. Couldn’t go round corners without ploughing a furrow 🤭 only got it four weeks ago. Had another ride on the 650 Meaty in the sun an was hooked. Ps I’m keeping its little brother. I will also be checking out your video on fitting the usb handlebar mount. Like you, I don’t know why they thought it was a good idea to fit it behind the side panel. Thanks for the great vids. an keep’em coming.

      Wowzers. That’s amazing. I need to copy messages like this to show Royal Enfield. I must admit I do love the looks of the Speed Master, but have never ridden one. It does look heavy though, and does not stand out as a good looking bike when parks along many bikes, like the Meteor does. And cornering on the Meteor 650 is a real pleasure. I look forward to every corner. Little brother is the Meteor 350? Have fun on the 650 🤞🙏

    Well actually you used the app in the phone! I gotta say the bike in the green looks superb.

    • @Teacher-T-Thailand
      @Teacher-T-Thailand  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well you need the app to connect to the display on the bike via Bluetooth. It works. If you see the following videos . 🙏

    Thanks teach,I'm very interested to hear what you have to say on the SM as I'm looking at buying one next year and I need it to chew up big miles daily. Have you tried adjusting the preload;much the same as you did with the Meteor? I'm still going to miss your Meteor all the same and looking forward to Pt2.

      Hi Bob. I didn't until after the Journey. Wish I had done before. Again it seems to work and make the ride more bearable. I have also bought a gel pad and will attempt a self install video in to the seat. Missing the easy riding of the Meteor 350. But loving the power and Purr of the 650🙏

      @@Teacher-T-Thailand I had to make a 200km trip on my Classic 350 yesterday and it really highlighted the better ride of the Meteor, convincing me to sell on and get myself a Meteor for Bali 👍

    I am looking to add silver/nikel rings to the gauges of my SM650 both on tripper and Spedometer so that it looks like the meteor 350 gauges. Can you help me?? Dimensions perhaps for 3d printing or purchase somewhere. Thanks a million!!

      I agree with you. I was a little disappointed also after upgrading from the 350. I can help sorry, but I’m sure I’ve seen someone put a Pringle lid on the speed and it fitted 🤪😂🙏

    Additional question? I maybe wrong however I understand that the 2023 Interceptor in black has the same switch gear as the SM but with the USB located under the lhd switch gear, dies the SM have the screw holes to add the USB port yourself? You could be the first to make this conversion that connects in the headlight 👍🙏

    • @Teacher-T-Thailand
      @Teacher-T-Thailand  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had a quick look. But nothing I can see. The 350 had handle bar USB. The 650 has a usb behind the left side cover. Which is ideal to run a cable into your pocket while charging the phone. Too many vibrations on the 650 for handle bar mounted I'm sure 😃

    Nice episode Teacher T.
    I've been contemplating the tripper for my new Custom 350, so I'm keen to see your next episode.
    What sort of fuel economy were you getting?
    And can you please tell me/ us from where your wife got those gloves?

    • @Teacher-T-Thailand
      @Teacher-T-Thailand  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will announce the fuel economy next week on the return keg. The gloves came from the Royal Enfield dealership where I bought the bike. A genuine Royal Enfield merchandise. Nexts weeks video has some great footage 🙏
