I've tried several dozen low carb dessert recipes from many different low carb, keto you tubers. I just want to let you know, joe, that this coffee cake is the first, the best and only keto dessert I LOVE. For the first time I have tasted a dessert that is as good as wheat flour/sugar baking

I made this today and is very good although next time I make it, I will reduce some of the sugar, at least the brown sugar as it was quite sweet , yet still delicious! I also added walnuts which gave it some wonderful crunch and flavor!

Been carnivore for 10 months and I fast from 7pm to 11am or 2pm. I just made this for my husband who is Keto and well I had to break my fast to taste this amazing smelling cake. OMG, it was so so so good. 10/10 from us. Amazing recipe and I will be making this for our holiday get-togethers.

I made this with Millet flour and Stevia instead, and had to cook it longer, but it still turned out delicious!!

I didn’t have almond milk so i diluted some sugar free coffee creamer with water and it came out perfect. I think even cream and water would work too.
Looks delicious I want to try this some day.

Thanks for the recipe. Excellent. It can easily pass for non-keto if someone is trying to please non-keto family. Delicious. Next time I will add some pecans just for fun. I loved it without the drizzled topping. Very very good. It was so sweet and rich, a half a slice was enough!
I enjoy your recipes. The one thing that drives me CRAZY is watching you mix ingredients in the bowl while it is still on the scale. That completely jacks up your scale over time. If you do that frequently, your scale may be off by at least 5-7% in accuracy.
I can smell it already and the best part not filled with fat

Skip the nutmeg, put in ground Turkish coffee (mocca), as this is “edible” without being ‘liquified without being whiskyfied”.

I made this recipe and decided to reduce the sweetener in the crumble to 3/4 cup instead of 1 cup since it just seemed to me to be a lot. It still ended up being sickeningly sweet. I followed the rest of the recipe as written. The cake was really good with the recommended amount of sweetener, but because of the huge amount of crumble both in the centre of the cake and on top it was, imo, inedible and I didn't even add the drizzle. I ended up throwing it out. Next time I'll make the cake either alone or just caramelize some Allulose and add a few chopped nuts and use that as the crumble. Sorry Joe, this was a miss for me.
Do you think you could you substitute heavy whipping cream for the almond milk?

I’m so surprised how many people were expecting for the cake to have coffee in it. Here’s A better understanding of why it’s called coffee cake.
“Coffee cake is a moist, tender cake that is usually topped with some kind of streusel topping and served alongside coffee or tea at breakfast. ... in A coffee cake might have coffee in it, but the name comes from the fact that it is served with coffee, not because it has coffee in it.”
Going to try this recipe, why do you not add coffee to it? Looks so tasty either way. Just curious as to why its called coffee cake.
It's often served with coffee, hence the name.
