Depends on the edition youre playin. It wasnt a feature in the original version instead being a later addition. Cant remember right now when it came into the game but yeah, when I first played postal 2 as a kid the cats were useful only as, well, yeah.
@@hhdhpublic I recall them being an Apocalypse Weekend thing, I guess they got backported at some point. My favorite thing about dervish cats was being able to disarm Phraud Hogslop of both of his weapons with two cats and being able to slowly kick him to death lmao
@@jdflasky1969You can easily tame the dervish cats by throw out some catnip in front of them and they will promptly stop spinning, very OP tactics when you're playing the Weekend.
@@SillyDeal1604 Do you merely have to throw down the catnip to tame them then you can pick it back up, or do you have to let them consume it? Because catnip is infinitely more useful as a consumable than it is for attracting cats, and dervish cats aren't that difficult to kill anyway

Still, for me the most challenging thing was on Sunday, the Paradise military base. Are you gonna play through Apocalypse Weekend in that run of yours?
at the suburbs part in right before the laundromat and the voting task, at around 13:53, the enemies who were made "light-headed" were BOTH WIELDING SHOTGUNS. Goes to show how much skill is required to play Ludicrous difficulty.
