Thanks so much I've begun to tear into my dad's 65 305 it is frozen up as of, yet I remember it use to turn free, so I don't think its broken just corrosion. I hope not too bad. If I can get it free ill start a restoration.

I hope you get it freed up. That’d be huge!

I ended up having to dive in. It was beyond bad.

@@KeepOnWrenching i figure the sooner the better before its unsavable. Brakes froze too but shouldn’t be too hard once the wheels come off

It’ll go eventually. One piece at a time. Hope you have easy sailing.

Great job, mate! I have been missing the live streams because of chaos on my end but it is great to see your work! Good shots and lots of helpful tips. That assembly lube is hard to find but worth the effort! Be well!

Motor wise I've only built 70s snowmobile engines, so I hope it's not too bad.

It won’t be too bad. Pretty straightforward

You show the assembly lube but the pistons appear dry. And leaving the oil filler open for something to fall into it seems like a potentially bad oversight

I did put a blanket over it when I put in the clips on the piston pins. Stuffed a bunch of paper tile in there too.

It’s not a 1967 because of the steel front forks and speedo among other things. 1965 sounds correct to me

Woof. That’s a tough one. Keep an eye on your local marketplace or sometimes I see one on eBay but shipping is crazy. Good luck in your search

Great work man! I'm thinking about doing a engine teardown and rebuild on a CM I picked up.

It can be done. I’m going pretty slow. Not a ton of time right now.
