  • In this video we get the top-end reassembled, valves adjusted, and motor reinstalled in the frame. We also set the ignition timing and did a compression test. 139 psi on the left side and 135 psi on the right. Well within spec and pretty good considering the rings are new and the cylinders and freshly honed.

Thanks. Parts are getting harder to come by. I got a lot of parts for this bike on eBay but some of the prices are getting out of control.
CMSNL.com is a good source but depending on your location shipping can get pretty expensive.
David Silver Spares had a pretty good selection of common parts.
Ohio Cycle is worth checking out as well but I think they've moved over to eBay (popshonda). In "the old days" you could just call them up and tell them what you needed.
Common size screws, nuts, bolts, washers, clips, etc. can still be purchased new from Honda through a dealer or site like PartZilla.com.
The parts are out there, it just takes a little more hunting than it used to.

I just bought a cooper head gasket. Did you installed yours dry?
    Does it leaks?

I used normal gaskets and coated them copper gasket spray. So far no leaks. I'm not sure what the installation requirements are for an actual copper head gasket.
