The 2024 Ultra is an excellent airbrush. Picked one up the end of last year and it’s awesome. Very clean, easy to use and easy to clean. Nothing about it feels cheap or not thought through. The limiter is excellent for learning to use different actions. Lovely action as well.
I started with an Iwata CS eclipse, and now I'm jealous. Just looking at the components from this video, would definitely recommend this over an intro level Iwata.
Eh, it’s no simpler than any other .45mm airbrush. In fact, for quality and ease of use, I don’t think you can beat a similarly priced Iwata or badger for hobby painting

I have not started airbrushing, but when I do I'll be getting the Ultra. Simplicity and quality. Like my Dad always said, quality only hurts once.

The spring is more resistant to make it harder for beginners to pull back too easily and spray unwanted paint all over their project.
