When the live version is better than the original, that means a lot about how professional they are and how good they are. Lots of dedication without a doubt. They nailed it with class 😎 Congratulations And thanks for making me smile
I guess the performance @@studioflat6885 referred to is this one: th-cam.com/video/3GALJl6Y16w/w-d-xo.html - another great performance of "La femme d'argent", especially combined with the extraordinary architecture.
Amazing performance! Looking forward to the day I can see AIR perform live again... Last time for me was in 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia... Please come back!! You guys rock my world.
Yeah it was good I thought, maybe a little subdued though, and I preferred the second half over the Moon Safari set, but the visuals were great and very original. I really wish they had a vocalist for All I Need instead of the kind of dub version they did.
@@silvertongues2 yea, I thought the second half was much better too. I really liked the enclosed box visuals idea though. It would have been the icing on the cake to have a proper female vocalised version of All I Need, the same with You Make It Easy.
Air. futuristic, reverberations of harmonious waves of sounds like the idea of what is your responsibility. To send us more quality music for the mind..
Was at this gig and it was sensational. A few years earlier I attended 2 of the Kraftwerk Opera House gigs during Vivid. Would love to see some footage from that.
As much as I loved the recent 3 man show - think it sounds better with an extra keys player and all the vintage kit rather than some backing parts and the modern emulation keys.
Air, Royksopp, Zero 7, St Germain, Daft Punk, Late 90s/ early 2000s chill was so good.
I'm 54 and now just discovering all this coolness...
William orbit and boards of Canada
@@jm12green31 absolutely
yeahhhh unique to man kind
Tindersticks, Zuco 103...
Because everyone is wondering the fantastic drummers name is Louis Delorme. Also shoutout to whoever mixed this it sounds phenomenal.
hes my cousin! :)
I love Air, listen to them every night i go to bed!
10.000Hz Legend is legendary!
Hypnotic. Timeless. That bass pulse is just so so good. Awesome
The first time he shakes the first note on that bass it catch me immediately.
Great musicians.
You should check the version in Paris

Was lucky enough to be at this show. Only recently discovered they'd posted footage of it. ♥️
The very best live performance of "La femme d'argent". No more comments. Listening to that is a transportation experience . Waouh... just incredible.
soegam checkout their performance at la blogotheque in Paris. In my opinion even better than this one. Amazing architecture as well

Yep the best 👍
Yep the best 👍 😊😁
nope, it's this one th-cam.com/video/jZfPXXQs_Qg/w-d-xo.html more live parts, more original vintage gear, better drummer and nicer bass :)
Air and La Femme D'Argent forever. Thanks for this clip.
What a healthy tone of the bass !
that drumming is phenomenal
How did I not find this earlier? I was there, these guys were simple unbelievable, every aspect of the show was break taking
Are they always so brilliant live? I soooo long to see their performance. I listened to Moon Safari countless times, it is a masterpiece
Yeah thank buddha for youtube bc it's nearly impossible to find live video content of them anywhere
I was at this gig. They were amazing live...
this truly is remarkable musicianship. AIR really is something special, and thank you Opera House for uploading this masterpiece.
Indeed
Mate that’s a piece or art
Awesome
AIR : Background music of my all dreams .
If ever two bands were made to tour together, it's Air and Daft Punk.
are you reading my mind ?
Dude... If only
Oh there ya go !
Lol are you kidding me
supporting Pink Floyd
It's what music should be.Familiar, intriguing, innovative. Looking forward to what's next.
Amazing performance! Looking forward to the day I can see AIR perform live again... Last time for me was in 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia... Please come back!! You guys rock my world.
**GOOSEBUMPS**
Please bring them back. Air, please come back to Sydney
The bass guitar solo is incredible. Breathes fire into an already mind melting performance.
Absolutely amazing!! I just clapped and cheered, alone in my office lol. What an astonishing crescendo!!)
The drummer kicks azz! Love this song.
So amazing music
can't stop to do that bass... they are hypnotic!
Great audio quality!
Oh my Days WoW WoW 😮
They left out the best part tho.
Fantastique! Definitely need something to get you in the mood when going to an AIR concert.
Classe et élégance, c'est Air.
Some days ago I discovered it again on the radio. It was a trip. It was a psychedelic experience
I would always put this music to listen, always when I would visit the galaxies in all universes.
Wow, these guys look so excited.
Heard this my first time taking shrooms and has been my fave song ever since.
Simply outstanding performance.
I hope they play it like this tonight at the Royal Abert Hall!
How did the Royal Albert Hall gig match your expectations? I was there on the Friday (31st May) and loved the visuals.
Yeah it was good I thought, maybe a little subdued though, and I preferred the second half over the Moon Safari set, but the visuals were great and very original. I really wish they had a vocalist for All I Need instead of the kind of dub version they did.

I never understood why they play this song live without the organ solo. The bass groove and the organ solo make the song.
Check the version in Paris
The key synth placement is spot on
Very soothing. Thank you. 🙏🏽
Wow, just wow! An amazing performance.
Saw them at the SOH in 2010; MAGICAL.
Awesome! First time I’ve heard them live.
The drummer is a killer!
I agree!
KING
In a month I’m flying 7800KM to go see them perform in Geneva. Hahaha 😂
The song of my life
Selon moi leur meilleure performance sur scène, qualité de prise de son au top. Mention spéciale pour les drums
complètement d'accord sublime
What a great band
a breath of fresh air . 💥
Air. futuristic, reverberations of harmonious waves of sounds like the idea of what is your responsibility. To send us more quality music for the mind..
Masterful
This is the electronica Tubular Bells!
What an amazing composition
My God I love this song :)
FULL MAGIC !!!!!

Amazing
The best ❤️
very very good...
Who's the genius behind those visuals?
Wow
Numero uno
Ferking ACE.
Idk why but I would love to see a co-headlining tour with AIR & MINISTRY. A bipolar spectacular spectacle!
Great to see Will Forte try his hand at other stuff
Should be used for music school graduation performance

Drum 👍🏼
The drummer os a same drummer at Charlotte Gainsbourg? Sorry my english, I from Argentina
Luis Urquiza it is ;)
They wrote songs for Charlotte Gainsbourg.....
The drummer works like phuck on this one. Bravo , dude. L De.
no mercy
If this doesn't get my like than I don't deserve TH-cam
Good acid man...
♥
The hardest working guy on that stage is the dude with the pink hat. For sure.
Mick Gordon roots!
should be warning. after that You never be the same. for your own responsibility. i hope is corect
TRON
why arent they playing that iconic keyboard riff like in the original in any of their live performances?
Ummmmm they totally do.....
strach tego sluchac taki odlot...
I came to see the MS20 conquer
Old school arps-and-weirdness.🙂
Seems to me that the BPMs are too fast on the orginal. Maybe that's for the millenials, but keep it slow as it was. It was better.
juk
Jeremy Josh stole this melody in 2003 (tape) from zero7.
i feel pity for the drummer. it seems he's the only one who uses the most energy in this performance
Define "the most energy". Everyone is 100% committed. It's obvious.
What do you want more? That they run a marathon while playing?...🙄🤪
C'est nettement mieux que du RAP , mais après Tangerine Dream c'est pas ouf non plus
Unbelievable there : a dead band live. Boring guys…
in lieu of talent, this is cool, i guess.
