Hi I chang ,I'm a foriegner live in Malaysia . I watch your channel and learn a lot about Malaysian culture ( Food specially) I wanna say many Malaysians are kind hearted. I went to Ramadan Bazzars Kluang and Redang area. They offer a lot of free food for kids specially . Thank you beautiful people ❤. Thank you ichang for promoting them. Because sometimes we have a language barrier. But you make things easy. 🌹
Btw Ayam Goreng Berempah and Rendang are our favorite 🤤🤤

You are right to try out the Makcik's kuih, IChang & Jimmy. Mostly fried stuff like cucur udang (prawn fritters), popiah goreng/basah (spring rolls), karipap (curry puffs) or Pisang goreng during normal days but those kuihs only during Ramadhan month.
You can prepare your own Roti John, Jimmy San. Make it more healthier without too much mayonnaise or cili sauce. The ones from Bazaar Ramadhan, it's expensive too. Try it out from your kitchen & you will be amaze to find how cheap & easy it is to prepare your own Roti John. With the price your paying for a single Roti John from the bazaar, you can have it for one whole week

Daging hitam Mahbub is IChang & Jimmy's favourite. Anyway it is very considerate of the seller to give chicken instead because the seller assuming they don't eat beef. Kind hearted seller.

Salt in the sauce of the mango sticky rice is a must. More layers of flavor and it enhance the "lemak". So refreshing with sweet ripen mango 🤤

That mango sticky rice looks like dessert from heaven! Thick coconut sauce, soft steamed glutinous rice and ripe orange yellowish sweet mangoes! I'm drooling! 🤤

We use that container to bring raya food to neighbours and family during hari raya and usually end up back home with more food 😅

Malaysians in general are very giving and humble people. If you come the the bazaar near the end if its business time, they would usually either gave you extra of the food that you buy or just give it to you totally free.

I do miss bazar Ramadan :) Used to be my favorite place to get dinner for the entire month back when I was still single and worked in Malacca. I believe every Bazar Ramadan has its own personality, and some are really strong with local style, and some are strong with styles from other states, or even foreign styles. I personally love those from the Northwest states like Pahang, Kelantan, or Terenganu. Just thinking about Nasi Dagang or Nasi Kerabu makes me want to cry....and yes I really do like the Pulut Pangang with fish inside(not the chili coconut filling). Thanks again for sharing this video, and it is really getting a lot of traction from your viewers and subscribers. It seems that they are more willing to say 'hi' and socialize with you guys as they get to know you more and more. You guys are more like a family now....or...keluarga :) Start getting used to "bos belanja" because that's just what we do to keluarga.

the kelapa laut is actually a type of coconut that have multi layer of meat and is super sweet like attap chee [ a type of nut soft and tender used mostly at ice kacang]
