Well only first half of 2017 and all of 2018 really. Even with their 2019 engine they couldn't do much against the mercs. I think they didn't dive into 2012 and 2017 well enough, the one time overcoming a crazy Brazil race and in 2017 only falling short because of bad development

".. Vettel and RedBull dominated the sport for the next three years." I have to slightly disagree on that since he was far from dominating in 2012. That year was insanely competitive and arguably the most exciting season we have ever seen
@Ganiscol Exactly! Nor Red Bull or Ferrari 2000 - 2004 where as dominant as Mercedes is now. And we use to think that it was unfair that Michael only wins because he has the best car, or that Sebastian only win because he has the best car. If Vettel would of replace Schumacher at the end of 2013 at Mercedes, we'd be a 9 times word champion now.
6:21 - They aren't allowed to say that Mercedes was two orders of magnitude better than Ferrari, because then it would be clear why Vettel couldn't win. Instead they made it sound as if it was because LH was superior. So low from F1.
The negative press Seb got over the past years, he really deserved to be shown to recent fans in a spotlight like this, so they can understand what special of a driver he was already at a very young age. He scored in his first race, he won in his first full season with a car that was clearly behind a winning pace, he holds the record for the youngest driver's champions title at age 23, a bit younger than his rival Lewis Hamilton. He was a four-times world-champion at the age of 26. For comparison Lewis Hamilton scored his fourth driver's title at age 32 same as Michael Schumacher. Did he have a four, now five-season stretch not getting to the title? Yes. Guess who else had that? Right, Lewis Hamilton from 2009 to 2013, he was the one behind the dominant RedBull car, same as Vettel when he was behind the dominant Mercedes. I wish fans would show the respect towards the other driver, like the mutual respect Lewis and Seb have for each other. They are on eye-level in talent and persistence and who knows, when the cards are reshuffled with a new era, let us see who gets the better car. That will certainly be the one of the duo who will edge it out. Seb was one of the first drivers that echoed Lewis call for more diversity and racial justice. They are both good human beings and they both deserve more respect for their accomplishments.
They totally left out the 2014 season in which he was beaten by Ricciardo, in his first competitive seat in F1, as reigning champion. I mean I am a Vettel fan, but as a Ricciardo fan 2014 is always over looked. People are always saying that Daniel doesn’t have what it takes to be a WDC because he couldn’t compete with Verstappen. Which I argue he could, for the two and a half season they were together Max only really beat him in the second half of 2018 when Daniel was leaving the team and had terrible luck. Even so, he has already beaten a four time reigning world champion in his first season in the car. Everyone again says you can’t compare Max and Dan in 2017 because that was Max’s first season proper as a RedBull driver. Ok. But Daniel beat Vettel. So perhaps not the “most” honest bio of Vettel, but I enjoyed it.
@@emilchandran546 They also didn't mention that he had most wins and poles in a season and most consecutive wins (9). They left out on both negative and positive so it's honest again.

@@deekay2578 yeah hamilton fans hates vettel the most
Can't wait for his career in Aston Martin. What a legend.
Started watching f1 back in 2010, grew up watching seb's dominance. He might have lost his edge but it doesn't matter, will always be a seb fan till he's in f1.
Who came here after he finished P2 in Azerbaijan GP in the AMR-21?
Edit: Danke Seb, thanks for all the memories.
vettel will always be that one driver which every f1 fan will remember and love
Won in Toro Rosso and they say he can only win in dominant car...
Maldonado also won in a Williams..
that was the most surprising thing i've ever seen in f1, he didn't only win, he DOMINATED in a torro rosso! Just unimaginable what he did that day with torro rosso!
@@dave7573
Maldonado was also incredibly fast, right up until the moment where he crashed.
Whajurgbo maldonado was a pretty good saturday driver, his brain just went off on sunday 🤣🤣🤣
The Toro Rosso was amazing that year, it was basically a Red Bull with a Ferrari engine.
Being both a Vettel fan and a tifosi really breaks my heart what's happening right now
Even being a fan of williams would be less painful
Binotto happen
"Tifosi" is plural, "tifoso" is singular (or "tifosa" if you're a girl) :)
People often seem to forget Seb’s incredible contributions to this sport. I don’t know who i’ll support once he is gone
That was quite an emotional video - Seb was and will always be forever one of the greats of the sport. Hope to see him do well with Aston Martin next season
Vettel can surely be admired for keeping his feet on the ground and his ego, publicly at least, relatively normal.
Go to Aston Martin and give us a great show finger boy! I really hope Seb can find some success and enjoy himself once again.
Ferrari was decent up-to 2018 then it quickly turned sour. I think Vettel deserves to win and enjoy F1 again more than any other driver on the grid IMO.
Well only first half of 2017 and all of 2018 really. Even with their 2019 engine they couldn't do much against the mercs. I think they didn't dive into 2012 and 2017 well enough, the one time overcoming a crazy Brazil race and in 2017 only falling short because of bad development
@eoe123321
Yep so sad.
@eoe123321 agree and another one about the Rear he is complaining since 2015 and Ferrari didn't give a fuck he is adapting to the rear this past 6 seasons and if he is trying to push to the limit he spun yeh Ferrari rlly sucks these past few years
".. Vettel and RedBull dominated the sport for the next three years."
I have to slightly disagree on that since he was far from dominating in 2012. That year was insanely competitive and arguably the most exciting season we have ever seen
+1
@Ganiscol it was easy to win with rb back then. Its easy to win with merc today. Why would seb hold a grudge because of a factual statement?
Toro Loco wasn’t easy in 2012
@Ganiscol Exactly!
And the McLaren was the best car in 2012
Dear Formula 1 TH-cam Team!
Make a „A Letter to my younger self“ video about Sebastian Vettel.
His story need to be retold by himself
SADZ12 WE NEED THIS SO BADD!!
We need it
I want
He would tell himself don't join Ferrari
The moment I hear "SSSEEEBBBAAAASSSSTTTTIIIIIAAAAANNNNN VVVEEETTTTAAAALLLLL " just goosebumps
I hope his switch to Aston Martin next year will be worth it for him, I want him to prove that he hasn't lost all of his skill with age.
By far the most honest Bio of Vettel done by F1
@@emilchandran546 They always seem to forget just how great of a driver Max is, probably better than anyone else on the Planet.
@@emilchandran546 They also didn't mention that he had most wins and poles in a season and most consecutive wins (9). They left out on both negative and positive so it's honest again.
Gameplaylike leaving out the positive and negative parts of his least flattering season except maybe this current one is still not “honest”.
