He always comes across as a ever smiling humble guy going abt his business with same determination day after day … f1 would have been a gem if we would have had all these great drivers driving equally capable cars at the same time

Button will always be my favourite driver, he is as iconic to me as any of the greats, and his win at Canada in 2011 was beyond incredible. Incredibly inspirational, and the HAM/BUT pairing hooked me (and I'm sure many other British F1 fans) to the sport that has become a huge part of my life.

I wouldnt say underrated. In seasons when Mclaren had a competitive car(2010,2012) Hamilton was leagues ahead of JB. JB became a threat to Lewis only after the later one broke up with Nicole in 2011.
2009 was the first time i ever saw a grand prix race at the television, my dad was watching and he told me that the previous honda (now brawn gp) would take the title easily, i remember vividly the car's livery and those rims covers, now that im at my 20's and watching f1 through the screens, i cant believe that the driver that was impressing me back then was button and until his retirement, he never failed to impress me, one of the best of the sport 👏
After jenson left I haven't sorport another driver or team. Still love f1 just Button was last old style races. Great driver great off the track true gentleman of f1
I was in France when Jenson won his first race in Hungary, had to watch the entire thing on a French TV with no English commentary.. oh the timing! 2009-2012 were some truly great years of F1 to watch. Canada 2011, Spa 2012, the 6 wins in 2009. That Brawn car will forever be my favourite, but the McLaren 2011 is a close second.

I recognized him in my youth 2004 and his drive was really impressive with a beautiful (BAR)-Honda-Car (the white one until 2006) as Schumacher-Fan I always also cheered for Häkkinen, Raikkonnen and Button and he well deserved the championship he's an underrated genius at the steering wheel.

I recognized him in my youth 2004 and his drive was really impressive with a beautiful (BAR)-Honda-Car (the white one until 2006) as Schumacher-Fan I always also cheered for Häkkinen, Raikkonnen and Button and he well deserved the championship he's an underrated genius at the steering wheel.
I miss him so much. Class act all the way.
