    Thank you for this video, I’ve had every service done at the dealership, and this last time they did an engine clean out, and it’s been burning oil ever since. (During the end-to-end service). They disagreed that burning oil is a problem, when it never did before and refuse to even look into it. They only wanted to make sure the burn-age was within spec. I’ve done a bit of research, this is next on my try list.

      mine was replaced under warranty at around 96 000km, now i feel confident doing myself at around 175 000km, if need be, thanks!

      It wouldn’t hurt, but a rattling noise could be caused by many things.

    I will try to follow your instructions to change the PCV valve on my 2015 Kia Rio. It has been consuming oil with no leaks.

      No I did not. It was done long ago and still consuming oil. Now I’m dealing with a possible catalytic converter replacement

      It was an easy thing to remove and replaced. Mechanics charge too much money to replace this piece.
