Dreamworks may not have the history and longevity of Disney and the consistency of hits that Pixar once had; but when they have a hit, they have a *HIT*

Chris Sanders is among my favorite animation directors of all time. Up there with Brad Bird and Guillermo del Toro. The man knows his craft incredibly well and I so wish he got more recognition because his films are just masterpieces. So I was always excited and planning to see this film! I'm so glad you feel the need to become a spokesperson for the film, Chris!
And yet I'm so upset that a lot of people especially the ones who loved animation still don't know his name. I mean, people already knew how John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Andrew Stanton, and the most recent one, Guillermo Del Toro in the animation industry but rarely does anyone know how incredible Sanders is as an artist
I’m so glad to have met Chris Sanders a while back when he was in his own booth in an animation convention I was invited too. He agreed to do a cameo on my TH-cam channel. Shoutout to him.

DreamWorks did an amazing job for good quality animation and storytelling as well since Disney. Please, everyone, give this movie a chance even bringing your kids to see it. Plus this movie will win an Oscar animated award. Great job, Chris. 😊👍
Chris, I fear this movie won't do well either. At first I thought it'd be due to Transformers: One, then you mentioned the thing with Beetlejuice. So now I'm worried it's cause this movie's an animated flick with a fairly original premise. Here's hoping people surprise the both of us and this breaks the box office.
This style reminds me of the trailer for the movie Flow about a black cat in a seemingly post-apocalyptic world, that trailer also had a super stylized animation, it was just a treat for the eyes , it's heartening to see that studios are finally trying something different than the hyper realistic CGI animation of Disney/Pixar, please guys let's support these innovative animation movies so studios keep putting them out.
Dreamworks’s movies might be pretty hit/miss, but once they actually lock in, they end up delivering an unexpected masterpiece. Much like Puss in Boots: The Last Wish back in 2022.
I saw the movie last night and I was thoroughly entertained and got teary eyed. Story is great and easy to follow, animation is so vibrant. 1 hr 40 min just zips by! Highly recommend this as a family movie!

@@ThePartyPrimate I'm still waiting on JJ's reviews of Hillary and Stopping The Steal. Does he not have the cajones either, or are you and he just massive hypocrites?
Hey, Chris, when are you going to do an Am I Racist review? It’s getting nothing but positive reviews (so it should be able to pass your “no negative reviews” rule), so I would love to hear your unbiased, objective opinion of the film. Dozens of people worked really, really hard on that movie so to ignore it completely seems a little hypocritical based on your previous rants about studios (it’s a privately made independent film) and is helmed by a singular person with a vision (whether or not you agree with his politics). But o guess your “principled stance” on movie reviews is more about not angering people in the industry that you hope to work with rather than any real principles.
I can't wait for this one. Before I saw the first trailer I was like: "Meh" Then I saw the trailer, and the second one.... This is going to be something special.

Been looking forward for this film for some time now. Sanders is one of my favorite animation directors and I knew they had something special the moment I found out what the story was about. I'm so glad this movie is getting glowing reviews, I'm so watching this movie this weekend
The Wild Robot has amazing potential for world wide success I think. I havent seen it but its not set in one culture, and its messages are about life and death and family, there is no context to miss, or be offended by etc. It can do well in China, America, Russia, etc. Visually it is like a painting, its art style will age beautifully. In twenty years people will still appreciate its visuals.
It came out early down here in Australia, and I’ve already seen it three times. My favourite movie in years. A visual marvel and emotional roller coaster from beginning to end. It treads familiar ground, but does so with such a striking style that it feels brand new. One plot point that I fully expected to be a third act thing actually came up much earlier, and lent a huge chunk of the movie a quite different feel than I was expecting. Fingers crossed that this can become a surprise hit. Chris Sanders has done it before with How to Train Your Dragon, so there is precedent. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this movie this weekend with my family. Hoping it does well at the box office as I'm also worried it's going to flop. I also really hope you see Look Back next week when it comes out in theaters on a limited release. It's an adaptation of a one-shot manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto (the creator of Chainsaw Man) and deals with what it means to create art.
I went to see this in advanced screenings, I loved it, it’s going for a completely different vibe to Transformers One which I also saw, I’ve been going to the movies a lot lately to support my local cinema.
My father recently passed away. I am unable to view any films with obvious heavy emotions. There's no way I am watching this knowing I will not be able to keep it together.
I heard this is going to be great. It definitely won't have the same emotional punch (no pun intended) as Inside Out 2 but I hope it does in a better way.
This is my most anticipated movie of the year. I'm a teacher and I've read this book to lots of kids. It is always a big hit.. The sequel book is also fantastic but they'll have to figure out a different way to set it up from what I've heard about changes made in the movie. In any case, I'm glad to hear that the film is solid.
