This whole film is beautiful, I love how Roz gradually sounds more human over time, and the scene on the ship where Brightbill tells Roz he loves her and wakes her up always makes me tear up.
That moment, when Rozz says, "I have everything I need" and when Fink begs her to stay because he might need someone to talk to, and Thorn tells him, "You can talk to me". Every one of those got me. Honestly, this movie handled death the best of any animated movie I have ever seen, and I've seen most of them. They didn't downplay it, but they made it very matter-of-fact. It was a fact of the wild. Creatures die, sometimes very unfairly, and often to keep others alive. One side note, I loved the reason the animals were able to take down the attack robots was because they weren't given any orders to engage them. You notice that they never faught back against them, just kept going after Rozz. The closest was when one pointed it's gun at the bunny, but didn't shoot.
I think the reason animated films from Pixar or Dreamworks hit us so much is because they target our inner child. They always have a wholesomeness to them that is very healing.
Honestly the score just elevates an already great film to a completely different level. The main theme is so bloody beautiful, I hope it wins a whole bunch of awards
Chris Sanders has said it before. The dialogue gets you half way through the movie, the music brings you to the end, and the fact that the entire movie was entirely music based and not dialogue/scene based, meant that Kris Bowers was free to compose what he wanted, no matter how grand, and the animators were tasked to sync the animation to it.
"They havent shown us much death though". Jaby we saw a crab getting taken by a seagull, a buttefly getting chewed, a crab getting cook, the goslings entire family getting merk. What do you mean😂
It took me a few days to be able to talk/think about this movie without at least getting teary eyed. Watching this in theaters I had to put my hoodie on at least 3 times so no one saw me cry 😂. I knew the movie was going to be good; great even. But I never realized how perfect or at least super close to it this movie would be, honestly one of the best movies (I’ve seen) to come out this year.
I’m BEGGING for the Wild Robot to win Best Animated Movie, I know in the past that the academy tends to favor Disney/pixar films cause those are the ones most of the voters are familiar with. And I did enjoy Inside Out 2. But the Wild Robot deserves it istg
I lost faith in the Oscars. Wouldn't be surprised if Inside Out 2 won JUST because it has the Disney name in it. I mean come on! Look at the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy. Masterpieces and neither of them won a single Oscar 😡
Cannot remember how many times I've cried watching this at the cinema, I was bawling my eyes out, very great movie and this movie have a lot of things you can learn!!
Lupita Nyong'o had a good 2024 with The Wild Robot ($324m) & A Quiet Place: Day One ($262m) which did well critically & financially (4 times their production budgets).
I cried three times watching this! It was so gorgeous! What a beautiful movie! I absolutely loved and adored it so much! The music, the characters, the acting, the animation! Everything was close to perfect! I loved it so much! 10-10!
For me The Wild Robot, Wall-E, The Iron Giant, and Big Hero 6 are proof enough that true sentient AI doesn’t always lead to Terminator or the end of humanity. It can be just as pure, good, innocent and beautiful as organic life.
Something important about how the geese treat Brightbill that not a lot of people seem to consider; what he ends up experiencing initially is quite realistic, especially for something as temperamental and aggressive as geese. There's a reason that wild animals that are raised by and spend too much time with humans tend to not be suitable for reintegrating back into the wild with more natural raised members of their kind, they tend to act differently than how a natural raised may behave and that can rub animals the wrong way. If y'all think humans are cruel to those who are different than you should see how animals can be, and brightbill's differences are much more pronounced with his runt size and behavior being closer to the robot that raised him rather than a normal goose. It sucks but at least he was given the chance to migrate and successfully integrated with his flock by the end of the movie
I have one absolute favorite movie of 2024 and it’s this masterpiece. Animation, Musical Score (love Kris Bowers) Voice Acting, Storyline ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the only mistake I made was going to see the movie by myself, I had to cry on my own shoulder 😭
Actually for some who don't know, The Wild Robot is a trilogy of science fiction novels by American writer and illustrator Peter Brown, which consists of the following novels: The Wild Robot, The Wild Robot Escapes, and The Wild Robot Protects. I hope they would do the other two for another movies... Coz they made the part one sooo greatttttttt ..
Love, love, LOVE this movie. Saw it twice in theaters and teared up both times. It reminds me of my dog, who was also the runt. A friend and I saved her from under my house. She’s going on 10 years now, watching this reaction with me 🥹
I watched this movie in the theater the week it came out and haven't watched it since, until watching your reaction video to it. The first time watching it had me in tears. Sad, but such a great movie.
Thanks Cinepals for making me cry during work. 😅 This was such a beautiful movie. Cried my first time watching it and cried again during this reaction.
No, corporate greed thing - I do agree. Also, why they want all of her memories - letting her retain her memories allows space for individuality and ability to think for herself and not conform to the standards they want you to live by. You can think about and for your agency. They don't want that.
I remember watching this on opening night by myself and it didn't really hit me as much as I thought it would. I remember being in a particularly difficult place and it was hard to find the emotion in it. I saw a beautiful movie, but it was hard to connect to it at the time. Watching it on react channels was when all of the feelings came pouring out and made me wish I saw it in the theatres with people. This definitely was a movie you want to watch with found family.
The carnivores can just eat fish, and the herbivores still the plants. If the animals are able to achieve unity and peace, if works in this context. Or it could also be Roz when she returns can provide the food, she could bring in technology since she’s basically AI and build a cell-based lab grown meats that is just as nutritious and delicious as the original real ones so the carnivores can still survive and thrive
I absolutely love this movie! The animation, the story, and the cast are all outstanding. I do wish they had kept the Chitchat character in the film as she is Brightbill's best friend in the books. You should definitely read the three books-I’m certain you’ll enjoy them!
Not gonna lie, i had to call my mom after seeing this the first time, the only other film that ever made me feel i NEEDED to do that was any time i re-watch Land before time 1.
My kids 4 and 3 love this movie. Got it on a whim to see if they would like it and I was 100% caught off guard. Tears and good vibes from the whole family
47:07 Honestly, I wonder if there would even be one company that would attempt to continuously spend the amount of resources in money, energy, and the continually damaged robots/aircraft just trying to locate a "lost piece of machinery" (although Roz is worth far more than the average robot) but still, they would've spent more money than Roz is worth just trying to recover her.
Now that y'all have done Agatha with Joe Locke and this with Kit Connor, y'all have to do Heartstopper. :) My favorite movies of this year are this, Thelma and How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies.

i'm so happy to see you guys react to this movie, it's officially been placed in my favorite list since I watched it a few months ago! if you liked this one I strongly recommend watching wolf walkers! I watched that and the wild robot back to back in one night an bawled my eyes out lol- love the videos as always guys! ❣
Watched this for the first time on my birthday in November. I don't think it's the best animated film ever made like some people do, but it's typical Chris Sanders quality which is about the next best compliment I could possibly give it lol

This movie made me laugh and cry simultaneously.❤
Yo love this guy... Seeing him on every reaction channel😂

it was nominated an Oscar
I've never seen Achara to cry for almost the whole movie before. wow
"They havent shown us much death though". Jaby we saw a crab getting taken by a seagull, a buttefly getting chewed, a crab getting cook, the goslings entire family getting merk. What do you mean😂
Dont forget the bird that ate said butterfly immediately getting beheaded after
Butterflies dying really is quite shocking death you're right. When I step on an ant I'm haunted by the death too
@@piusdoe8984 no one ask about your feelings. The fact of the matter many animals died in this movie

Brightbill’s first meal is chomping down those worms.
Saw this with my 3 young daughters, and I was definitely crying more than them 😂. This movie pairs well with The Iron Giant.
I really love Achara's reactions. She is very expressive while still being authentic.
And the Oscar for Best Animated Feature goes to… The Wild Robot 🤖!
@@jamesrippy1161 We can hope.
Let's hope overrated Inside Out 2 doesn't get the title.
Inside Out 2 was better

Achara's T-shirt is covered in teardrops. Boy she was crying her heart out!!!
I know Inside Out 2 was great, but what the hell. The Wild 🤖 is for sure gonna win the Academy Award for Animated Feature!
It’s almost sacrilege to compare that horrible thing with this masterpiece

if the influences on it are pure, just like people
Yes very good like Baymax, Omega & Wall- E, Iron Giant / Superman
Kris Bowers will always bring out the FEELS in his scores! EVERY SINGLE TIME.
So many great voice acting performances this year so far, We need a voice acting category at the Academy Awards!
You have no idea, how long I've been waiting for your reaction! This movie is truly beautiful and amazing. Loved your reaction the whole way through!
I don't really cry over movies but this one didn't fail to make me cry.

This is probably the best animated movie of 2024! Transformers One is sooooo awesome but Wild Robot just plays the strings of our hearts.

What i like about this movie is that they're not afraid to show the cruelty of nature
Pedro Pascal and Mark Hamill need to do more together.
Seriously! No doubt
Achara being upset at the other geese for laughing at him is too funny. Lol

I loooooove this movie. It’s in my top 3 of 2024 with Dune pt. 2 & Wicked pt 1. Saw it four times I think
My favorite quote is “Sometimes, to survive, you must become more than you were programmed to be.”
