One of the best podcast, Jules speak without filter and for sure he have more funny stories 😂. After this episode it's obvious that we would like to have Winky as a guest!!!!
Yes! Everytime I've encountered Markus during track media he has the most happiest personality - and his stories too would be great. +1 for Markus Winklehock
enjoying these very much, would be cool to get Michelle's (Gatting) side of that story? We also need to get Bortolotti on so we can clear up why you mis-pronounce his name....
Met Jules a couple of times, first time spoke for about 10 mins. Few months later I bump into him again, the guy remembered my name, small thing but speaks volumes about him. Forever a fan now
hold on, didn't he already drove it? Thought I saw him being on the Alpine team on the entrylist for Le Mans but perhaps it was the Alpine that DNF'ed before his stint started.
Jules's life and early racing career, his Porsche Carrera Cup France crash and path from karting to GT racing aswell his 1st victory in major GT3 racing, him and Dani Juncadella adding some art to the Michelin guy and his relationship with Michelle Gatting. Laurens's GT Masters team banned and his road crash in his 1st year as a Porsche works driver... And many more stories told in this podcast. Thanks Laurens and Dries for giving us such a funny and entertaining 'Over The Limit' episode, Jules was a fantastic guest. I loved this!
Loved this episode, an episode with just Michelle would be good to get her side of the stories. I’d like to see some of the top AM drivers on, Sarah Bovy, Ben Keating.
Thank you for putting it together it's so nice. I've heard from it from Gary Parravani and one thing I think we all have in common in the racing world is the lack of visiting and enjoying the places we visit. I'm not a pro photographer as Gary, more an AM-PRO car photographer and when we travel I focus only on the racing (no matter if it's Le Mans which is killer for us, Formula 1, Formula E, bla bla) you just focus on the pics and the job and never go out for some fun discovering time and it's a shame because we are there. Neither when you are marshaling because you are so tired after your stints.....
Great episode! It could have been another hour long. Other guests. Why not Nicki Thiim. Big personality and just won Spa. He also had that run in 2 years ago with Jules at Spa. Maxim Gotz. Maro Engel, Matt Campbell, and Patrick Pilet are some names that come to mind.
What a great episode! Just shows that sometimes you have to catch a lucky break - but to do so, you have to show up first 💪🏻 Winkelhock sounds like a super funny guest, too 🤩 Any chance you can get Kamui on one day for a bit of inter-brand banter?
One of the best episode for sure! Awesome to have so many stories fron Jules, i’m really looking forward to see Michelle interview one day as an Iron Dames Fan
Great pod. I have been watching all 3 of you for years, and especially Jules in the beginning when I watched GT Masters like crazy when he was in Calloway. Such good times as a spectator. Great episode fellas. Cheers from stateside.
Definitely one of the funniest podcasts in the series . I have enjoyed them all so far but this one was sooooo good I bought one of Lauren’s’ t-shirts from his on-line shop 😂👍
Thank you guys! You made my evening, I was just bored thinking about going to the bar but now I got something actually interesting to see 👍 I don't speak French but I think the phrase "I got no chance but I'll use it" comes pretty close to what Jules wanted to say. Btw... Amazing story! Very enjoyable to listen to.
Fantastic episode Laurens and Dries. Loved hearing from Jules. I hope you will be able to speak with Matt Campbell at some point. Keep up the excellence.
guys / thx so much again... i love your interviews / please make michelle and or one of the other iron dames come to your show... we need these ladies to represent their mission and i am sure everyone will love the content / maybe than even my wife and some more ladies will follow your channel 😉
12:29 No way I just find out Jules Gounon was the driver onboard of the Porsche that was on the top of the other Porsche in that crash in Carrera Cup France at Navarra 🇨🇵 2015 😭 I remember seeing the video of the crash in 2015, with the time I could only identify Mathieu Jaminet because the french commentator said his name, he wasn't involved in that crash. OMG this is fantastic 😂
24:24 Funny how Jules's heavy crash at Hockenheimring 🇩🇪 derived into Laurens's team ban story at Red Bull Ring 🇦🇹 (wich I didn't know 😂) Laurens was really banned from ADAC GT Masters? He couldn't compete in the championship anymore or was only the team?
A shame that ADAC GT Masters changed due to DTM becoming a GT championship aswell, now since this year it's a DTM's feeder series for Silver and Bronze drivers. It was one of the first GT championships I saw around 2014-2016 and I could follow because the races were available here on TH-cam. Altough I still support the championship definitely it's not the same anymore, at least the name should change to ADAC GT Cup or something like that and let the original ADAC GT Masters name rest in peace 🕊️ Great story of Jules's 1st victory in major GT3 racing 🥲
Good to see some actual professionals talking about driver weight. James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi - two of the most successful GT drivers in recent memory, have been banging on about it for years, and all the armchair experts just rip them for it.
by far the best episodes I love how Jules talks with so much emotion he’s really passionate about everything he does. very enjoyable

Fantastic episode! I think you guys should also have Sarah Bovy on the pod, incredible driver and very upbeat.
Met Jules a couple of times, first time spoke for about 10 mins.
Few months later I bump into him again, the guy remembered my name, small thing but speaks volumes about him.
Forever a fan now
This is the best episode yet😂 Got to love Jules, hopefully he gets the hypercar drive soon
hold on, didn't he already drove it? Thought I saw him being on the Alpine team on the entrylist for Le Mans but perhaps it was the Alpine that DNF'ed before his stint started.
@@RiqueDropsBanter yeah he is the reserve I believe so took part in a few tests and raced in spa I believe. Hopefully he gets a full season.
who knows if Schumacher gets that f1 alpine drive he might get drive full season.

Thanks Laurens and Dries for giving us such a funny and entertaining 'Over The Limit' episode, Jules was a fantastic guest. I loved this!
The best episode so far. Make sure you get him and Michelle back on the show. Very entertaining.
Great episode. Australia needs to give Jules Citizenship. He is loved down here too.
🇦🇩🇦🇺🇫🇷
Great to have Jules in the show. Such a great guy, fast, and always with stories to tell.
Loved this episode, an episode with just Michelle would be good to get her side of the stories.
I’d like to see some of the top AM drivers on, Sarah Bovy, Ben Keating.
Good show. Jules is the man. Thx for putting this together!
Guys, this episode is best by far. So much fun stuff and also so many interesting stories! I heard it at Spotify, now with video 😅🏆
Maybe get Michelle & Sarah together then :)
Thank you for putting it together it's so nice.

That Road Atlanta story is genuinely hilarious. Hard life when your SO is as competitive as you are.
This one was really really good, Jules seems super passionate and has a funny way of telling stories. Listened to the entire thing in one go!
What a great episode! Just shows that sometimes you have to catch a lucky break - but to do so, you have to show up first 💪🏻 Winkelhock sounds like a super funny guest, too 🤩 Any chance you can get Kamui on one day for a bit of inter-brand banter?

One of the best podcast, if not the best one! It would be VERY cool to hear Michelle’s story!
Great pod. I have been watching all 3 of you for years, and especially Jules in the beginning when I watched GT Masters like crazy when he was in Calloway. Such good times as a spectator. Great episode fellas. Cheers from stateside.
will probably be top 5 greatest episodes in years to come.
I would love to see you guys have an amateur driver on sometime, and ben keating would be cool too
I second Ben keating :D
Loved this episode. Somehow you managed to combine incredibly inspiring with insanely funny in this episode
really entertaining and what a humble guy he is!
Definitely one of the funniest podcasts in the series . I have enjoyed them all so far but this one was sooooo good I bought one of Lauren’s’ t-shirts from his on-line shop 😂👍

Awesome episode, great work guys!
Very good episode. Jules was a fantastic guest.
Been waiting for this one, bummed we missed Michelle but the sunlight through the door story made up for it. 😄
Fantastic episode Laurens and Dries. Loved hearing from Jules. I hope you will be able to speak with Matt Campbell at some point. Keep up the excellence.
Brilliant episode that one is up there for one of the funniest 😂 Looking forward to the next one!
Awesome episode! How about Michael Fassbender for the podcast!?
Best episode yet

For all you guys looking for that clip of Jules on top of another Porsche in Navarra: th-cam.com/video/oJwX85hfOJM/w-d-xo.html
