If you want to have the hp yet have control and enjoy your vehicle as a daily driver i highly recommend the 392 scat pack, i just got mine a month ago and absolutely love it...thanks for the video
I hope you guys enjoy the video and check out the other Challenger / Charger videos we have out. Let me know your thoughts on this Challenger Scat Pack Wide Body though!
Absolutely correct, the Scat Pack Wide Body is the most driver friendly road Challenger you can buy, hence the reason I grabbed me a 2023 Scat WB, Shaker, SP/ED Swinger, F8 Green, this car has more than enough go go power, been in & driven the slim & WB HC's unless you like stupid power ya really can't use daily. Tex G. is completely spot on with this eval.
Hellcat is available with a manual in the narrow body and I think the widebody but the Redeye gets automatic only as I understand it. Yep I just checked. All Challengers except Redeye are available with manual transmission. The reasoning is the Redeye is basically a slightly detuned Demon necessitating the Demons beefed up automatic.
Such a fun car! I can't wait to own a scat. To save money I want a base scat widebody with sunroof, that's it. I dont need the interior upgrades if I'm going to be ripping most of it out anyway. The audio that's going in this car will be mesmerizing. JL Audio C7' 3 way, Vx600/6i, Vx600/2i, and 10" sub in the front foot well. I already have most of the audio equipment so I just need the Challenger.
@@danielibarra3643 you still have to order a car through a dealership. The wait can be 2-4 months, but there are some stories people tell of it taking even longer than that.
@@danielibarra3643 mine was placed on May 19th, so we'll see. I'm in a few Mopar/Challenger groups on Facebook, and I see a lot of people with recent deliveries stating around 7-8 weeks, so I'm hopeful, but I'm also mentally prepared for 12 weeks.
Good review! After years in a 5.7 Shaker manual, I upgraded last year to a Challenger Scat with the ZF 8 speed. Very happy with the 392 in many ways...
The colors are insane but who needs a cop magnet? They will stop you at 1mph over. Triple Nickle no problems yet. $65,000 out the door. Will run on regular gas. Spark sensors retard the timing. Aftermarket $25- "skip shift eliminator" a must or you will be grinding gears on manual transmissions between 1st and 2nd at 14 mph and 20 mph endlessly. Easy install on line.
2015 is when they did the refresh. The scatpack is the right car for those who can't afford the Hellcat. The scatpack only gets one mile per gallon more in city and on the highway than the Hellcat. Don't misunderstand me the scatpack is a great car. Oh yeah I own a 2016 Hellcat and absolutely love it
It’s not only for those who can’t afford a hellcat. Most people don’t want all that power, unless your going to the strip. Other than that what’s the reason for it.
The hellcat is not worth the extra money unless you’re seriously into racing it. You can’t use all that power on the street. The Scatpack is a great option for people who don’t care about taking it to the drag strip. And by the way I bought a scatpack and yes I could afford a hellcat if I wanted one.
This is a brqnd new car with scuffed rims already. I think the 360 camera is the no. 1 absent here. You really need it given the dimensions of this car.
I have a gorgeous 2020 Challenger RT Scatpack Widebody Octane Red. She’s loaded. And she rests peacefully in my garage. Low mileage only 1500 miles. I plan on keeping this baby for at least 10 years.
Allan congrats. I’m considering trading my Camaro SS 1LE on one of these. The visibility is bad in the Camaro and driving the Challenger felt it was much better. Drove the Auto but would buy the 6-speed manual.
An unmistakable design. A car that follows its own rules.
💯
@Bishop Dario Thanks!
I‘d say this is the sweet spot of the Challenger line
Just got mine, 2020 dodge challenger RT scat pack widebody. Love it love everything about it, very comfortable very fast fully optioned out.
Nice!
Such a fun car! Hope you guys enjoy

Really love the looks although I’d take the Charger for the family. Great video
Manual should be available in Hellcat just not Hellcat RedEye

yes 2019-2021 hellcat can be fitted with manual transmission.

Me, I’d rather have a 392. They have the right amount of power to have fun and they ride easy; also, they don’t have that supercharged whine.

hate people talking on car reviews, at least don't show them.
