Easiest way to get sentinels to go away is to dig an angled hole in the ground and just sit there for like 30 seconds and just like guards in Skyrim they will just assume whatever happened was just the wing and bugger off. I do this on fresh characters when hunting for maps in corrupted sentinel planets.
Using the cloak on your exosuit is a really great way to lose the sentinels. Even if your cloak wears down, it rercharges for free so you can use it again and again if necessary until they piss off somewhere else
Idk how lucky this is, but about 6 hours into my first play through the first abandoned ship I came across was an S-Class Solar. Spent the next 4 hours mining resources to fix it up.
A tip: When collecting Storm Crystals use your Minotaurus Exocraft, you can jump with its jetpack to get to them fast and if you are close enough you can collect without leaving your exocraft. The minotaurus is protected against storms so you don’t need to worry about the weather Just make sure you don’t run into the crystals as the Minotaurus will crush them if you walk over them
Another tip with trading outposts: often they are near an unknown grave, or have a traveler at them. If you don't already have all 16 glyphs, this is a great way to boost how quickly you gain them. Just talk to any traveler you come across a second time, pay the 100 nanites, and you will get a pointer to an unknown grave, which will give you a glyph. Any time you land always scan the perimeter for unknown graves.
Number one tip for me. You can scan ships at space stations instead of talking to their pilot. If youre looking for an S ship to buy this saves so much time

There's another kind of rare storm, and that's the gravitational anomaly storm. The way it behaves this storm is a small difference in temperature but it lowers the planetary gravitational pull, the same way it's on dead planet biomes. The advantages you have in this kind of storm is that your jetpack will recharge in mid-air like when you're on land, and you fall slower, enhancing long jetpack travels.
This has been the case with companions since they were first introduced. also the sentinel drones refused to attack you when you used the minotaur, not sure if they do or not now though

Took 500 hours to discover vehicles can scan for buildings and stuff. Only just discovered that you could get a exo suit expansion on the Anomaly, by watching this LOL
@Floomer222 @BunkzGaming Note that this only works if you're on a planet that doesn't have aggressive sentinels (marked in planets info when you open the discovery tab). Aggressive sentinels will attack you regardless if you've done anything. The reason that swapping multitool makes you evade sentinels upon scanning is that they're looking for the TOOL that damaged/destroyed the environment, or a living creature, and not for the INDIVIDUAL that made it. Let's say you're mining resources with your laser and a sentinel comes scanning you, you just have to swap to one of your weapons or terrain modifier, and the scan will not target you as a threat, considering that the Incriminating Laser has gotten away.

You can change your appearance to one of the races that don't use helmets. There's an appearance modifier in the Nexus that you can use until you build your own (or even after that, if you like). Some options will be locked at the start, but there should be some which don't use helmets available right away. Would love to play but can't take the constant stuttering. Top tier i7, 32 gigs of ram, installed on a M.2 drive, 3090Ti. Still horrible. I've tried everything on the internet. Thought I found the answer and that it was AA, disabling it seemed to help initially but not for long.
Are you on Windows 11? A lot of people having issues with W11 when it comes to gaming, and not just NMS. My pc is inferior to yours and I play fine on high settings. But I have Windows 10.
@@vini_siq I'm on 10 as well. If I turn on DLSS and motion blur it seems to be better, but you can still feel little jitters here and there. To me it's not a graphics thing, its an asset loading thing. It's the way stuff pops in and out. Causes minor stutters but Im really picky about it.
This has been a problem since Launch. Basically the way the procedural* gen works is a strange type of extreme cull and pull. At the time of posting this my Series X runs this better than my Desktop and after a few hours you need to close the game and re-open it or it will slowly leak memory and start chugging until it force crashes randomly. Strange things start o happen like landscapes not loading before you get to them and clipping inside of the center of planets and getting stuck if you have an extremely fast ship... Or like you'll rubberband in a weird feeling way that makes you feel like those scenes from movies and stuff where simulations glitch. In a couple more years storage media and the way CPU's are being updated, should be fast enough to eliminate this problem alltogether.
I wouldn't aim for anything higher than 50fps locked with hiccup dips during entry and leaving planets. Some Space combat puts my 6800xt and 5900x on 128gb ram down to 12 fps depending on where, when, the size, how close to planets, how many planets etcetc.
I jumped back in determined to either figure something out or uninstall. I started noticing the weird way the terrain pops in and out while you move.. if you stand still with like a rock cliff at your back and then spin around towards it, for me, it takes a sec and then a bunch of new texture pops in.. So I tried turning down the tessellation and that seemed to help quite a bit, it's never felt like fps or graphics, its always felt like a loading thing... it got really bad when i mined so that kinda backs up the tessellation thing.. that seemed to make a nice difference i also turned down volumetrics because that's always a killer. I also changed the mincore setting in the cfg to zero. so now its much better with only a few here and there.. and i can still turn tessellation down 1 more. I have DLSS enabled and set to balance as well... and i enabled motion blur and put it at default incase it had any affect on things popping in and out.. all in all its very playable now so maybe I can finally get into it.
Does nobody use the big ass storage containers?...those increase freighter storage size...as well as make it available on foot to access...i have 7 storage containers and they are not even close to full

i must be lucky as hell couse i played this game for a week and last 2 days i saw like 4 S class and bought one solar S for 15M
The nutrient processes I need that
I just uploaded my save data from PS4-5 last night... realized i have an insane amount of units at 1.2 billion 😂
Once you get to 4.2 billion you can’t earn anymore, but then again you will never go broke 😂
Selling food and crafted parts makes more credits
How do you find that last mineral on a planet? I’ve searched all day literally scanning everything and I still haven’t found it.
Some minerals are underground only, so look for holes or caves.
Underground or at the bottom of the ocean. Some are only in caves, and others are only on the sea floor
Does anyone know how to get exo suit upgrade modules?
They can be purchased at the space stations in each solar system. It's all ramdom with the class type at each station.
Could anyone make a "list" for me on what to do, to get rly OP asap :D ? Im 15-20h in and just found a better ship. I did some inv slot upgrades too. I just bit overwelmed with everything 😂 idk what suit uplgrades are most important and what is the best way to make some rly good cash
Question
Does anyone else has the same problem like
Me while playing after like 1 hour the game starts to disappear some parts of the floor like i land on a planet and it starts to disappear in squares that i can see throug the ground to the center of the planet and can fall on those squares but can get back up if i jump but is anoying and after that few minutes later the game closes
anyone knows what it might be the problem?
I've never seen that, sounds like something could be corrupted?
@@BunkzGaming any idea to how can i fix it?
And hope is noting like to deleate the game saved file of over 600 hours
@@schwarzerregen957 no idea I'm afraid, might be worth asking on the No Mans Sky Reddit pages
"there is even a button to upload all items at once so you dont have to every item you scanned one by one" and where is that button? xD same with the trade routes. how do i know which items are good to buy/sell on that route? so many things dont get explained in this game :D im ~9hrs in and still dont seem to get most of it :D
Need a settlement update
Anyone know if the locate resources works on pc
I was wondering the same thing. I don't get that last section on the pop-ups that let's you locate an item.
There are exosuit upgrades in outlaw stations too lmao why would you say they dont have them
Lol the old space station layout in this vid.
Haha, the sentinels are little bastards. True. They keep attacking my settlement.
I played since the start... Im afraid to get back on the game 😢
Love the game and all the content, but their is no point to it, I have millions of credits and nanites now, but what do I do now?
Yeah that's something I find as well. I've got nearly 2 billion units and nothing to spend it on because I've already got everything I need
Going off my last comment if anyone wants to show me differently. By all means please do as maybe I’m missing something. But even the missions are pointless as you can unlock all the stuff with out doing them
Found it hard to understand you through your attempt at a news anchor inflection..
Says "without further ado", then cuts to further ado.
Submarine?
That’s more boat than sub
Curious as to why you think that? In the footage it may not go below the surface as much as you'd expect but it's very much a submarine over a boat.
@@BunkzGaming that’s pretty much why I said it’s a boat lol 😂
Does it go deeper into the water?
@@witcherjohn3440 fair 😂 yeah it goes as deep as the water is, it's not the quickest but does the job. I'd like them to add a new, faster submarine
@@BunkzGaming ohh ok that makes sense
I’ll have to build one and test it out
I swear to god every no man's sky did you know video is the same. Give us something new already!

This game is big but very empty on meaning full stuff. I wasted 2-300 hours waiting for a mate to pick up the game to play together. By the time he has I’ve platinumed this game with out even trying to get it. That game is massively empty but still very addictive. But take away the anomaly and the nexus the game has nothing after you complete the meaningless missions
