    Thanks, but I'm gonna stay with Slick Trick Viper Tricks in 100grn. Hit where my field points do, nice pass throughs, good blood trails, blades easy to sharpen and changeout and fairly reasonable price point.

      When Silverflame started making broadheads that were 33 dollars a piece years ago. It started this trend.
      I don’t think Sliver Flame caught on all that well but then Iron Will and some others found popularity as a “boutique” broadhead. Now all these companies think as long as they’re under 100 for a 3 pack it’s all good.

    I bought NAP's dark knight last spring. Great broadhead and made a great kill wound however bleeder blade broke first buck I hit and they don't have any replacement blades. Which I found very disappointing as I really liked the outcome. I've shot NAP broadheads for years never broken a blade but can get replacement blade for my old broadheads. Was shocked when the rep said there were no replacement blades because it was so new. I bought it a year or so after initial release. Still have two good ones hope they get replacement blades this year

      Man that is a big disappointment bleeders are usually always going to break off that’s what they were designed to do can’t believe they wouldn’t over replacements

    I’m really interested in the Annihilator broadheads, but price is higher than most. The reviews I’ve seen are overwhelmingly positive. Anyone have any experience with the Annihilators that might give me a nudge in either direction?

    • @longdrawarcher4857
      @longdrawarcher4857 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Never used them but when you think about how many deer you can shoot with the same head, it makes the price completely acceptable to me. I mean most mechs will run $45 and you might get two deer out of the same head. If you do purchase the annihalator heads I would highly recommend the stay sharp 344 sharpening jig. It’s cheap, and works perfectly. You’ll have your heads popping hairs in no time.

      Best broadness I’ve have used. Fly true to field points and love the ability to re sharpen. And the damage is unreal. My brother shot a bull got a deflection and hit the elk in hind quarter. Shattered the entire leg and punctured his belly ran 100 yards and piled up. It look like a grenade went off in his leg. Severed his femoral artery. That was not his intention. But it worked.

    I admire companies that produce a quality product year after year, & they don't have to entice new customers with brand new products every year. How many times can you invent the wheel? I would be more inclined to buy a broadhead from a company that's not included here. I'm more impressed with NAP & their one broadhead offering than anything shown in this clip, & I don't even shoot the Exodus.

    it's just getting crazy, how companies feel they need to release new models every year. really? have we not perfected a head yet?? here's how i view a new release, they are basically saying the previous ones were inferior, that they needed to improve on it.
    and 750 fps?! how fast do we need bows to be?? will 1000 fps be enough? it's getting ridiculous. archery is supposed to be challenging. expect stricter rules and regulations to soon be added to archery, with the companies seemingly intent on pushing it as far as they can.

    • @Chiefshadow4
      @Chiefshadow4 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have to agree with this comment. I didn't go back to archery (from firearms) for it to be easy. G5 and muzzy has you covered in the north american game and stinger, grizzly, zwickey ( and the other traditional broadheads) have trad hunting covered. That being said very few bows when all set up even hit 300 fps.
      Crossbows are another story.

    C'mon, how about some fixed heads from 1.25" and up? A 2 blade 1 1/8" cut? No thanks.

  • @longdrawarcher4857
    @longdrawarcher4857 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I wish vip made better heads, because I’d love to support their company. But there’s no way their broadheads would ever be found in my quiver. I wouldn’t even trust them enough to shoot a coyote. They are the definition of a energy dump. I’m definitely going to be purchasing a few packs of the annihalator broadheads though.

  • @timbow50
    @timbow50 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Stick with fixed people. Why would anyone take a chance of a flapper not opening. All the time money sweatetc we take for one shot and then the flapper didn’t work. How many times has a fixed failed to cut? Even then so many fixedwith changeable blades will get blades busted on impact with ribs etc because the blades are like .035. That’s very near the thickness of a dime. Solid fixed at that thickness are tougher than the hollowed out ones.
