- In this video, you will meet our chief stockperson, Sandy, who explains our livestock system together with the management changes she has made over the last few years.
Along with these changes is one particularly big change, which has been a shock to the system. Watch the video to find out a little more... 😁🐮👍🏻 #agri #agriculture #contentcreator #cows #creator #farm #farmer #farming #youtube #youtuber
Love the video . Fair play to Sandie for sticking to her guns. Would love to see a video on the stabilisers
@@michaelnoone9018 have a look at my other videos, they are on there. Also, there is a new video up tomorrow eveninf about a Stabiliser open day we went to 😁👍🏻 thank you for your comment
Yes look like red Angus 👍
Enjoy your video.
@@TomKelly-q3q cheers Tom! Tom Kelly as in from Newtown Tom Kelly that I went to school with??
Looks like Sandy sorted your guy's our
Top job Sandy 👌
Great to see an experienced and knowledgeable herd’s women doing an amazing job at pushing the farm on and implementing changes to improve the health, productivity and profitability. Big respect to the older generations for working hard and setting up the foundations of the farm and the suckler herd but it’s nice to see the younger generations then come through and drive the farm onwards and upwards
@@DanielleCarroll-r4o you have summed our situation up entirely Danni and it's thanks to your help and advice we are where we are. As a result; you're up for an interview soon? 😁👍🏻
What an interesting video 👌 and a very lovely lady who definitely brings a lot to the table, as old school very old school was very happy to hear you mention Hereford and Angus 🏴 breeds 👍 and also ease of calving which in my opinion a lot of beef farms seem to have overlooked trying to produce as big a calf as possible but at what cost to the cow 🐄, wish you and your family a very Happy Healthy New Year from 🏴👌
@@bobpaterson1845 thank you for your feedback Bob, sometimes people forget that native breeds were doing the job okay for the beef job. The Stabilisers aren't directly native but they are made up of several native breeds for this reason. I quite agree. Thank you very much and a Happy Healthy New Year to you and your family in 🏴 too from 🏴
sure does my gf is in california and my new masport commerical mower made in austrilia and i bought it at a dealer here in canada wich european made equipment is the best well made better then canada made 😁🙂👍
This is a very informative video and you should be making sure sandy is happy she seems to have the best interests of the farm in hand and is a very intrigral part of the farm

Haha what is it they say John, happy wife = happy life?! 😂 she does indeed, I would be lost without her! Cheers for the comment and happy new year to you!
@@thebeeffarmerOG keep these informative videos coming my friend this is the sort of things people need to see
Liking the video we are having the same issues with calves here would be very interested in knowing what bolus you used. I have a channel of my own going doing the same as yourself
Hi Graham, thank you for your comment. We use the Mayo cattle boluses. Are you on other social media channels? If not, you're more than welcome to give Sandy a call and she can expand on how they work. I've subscribed to your page. Many thanks, Liam
I put up a few posts on instagram Facebook and TikTok I would be interested in talking to her as ye are using the product yourselves and not just a sales person just looking at the sale
@@Kavanaghfarming I know exactly what you mean. I couldn't believe the difference in the cattle after using them. Give Sandy a ring anytime on 07340 338982.
Cheers for that I’ll send her a text to check she would be free to take a call. Perhaps tomorrow we’ll see how it goes
What does Sandy think of Mayos chances of winning the All Ireland this year???? 😂😂
@@theoracle8560 Sandy leads a very sheltered life here in Wales and is not clued up on the Irish Senior Football Championship 😉🤣🤣
The lady sounds very knowledgable but I think there are some of us here are not farmers and we are trying to show our support so can you explain what a little of these terms are
Thanks so much for your comment. Completely understand, will do a video explaining the farming jargon soon, but is there any specific farming terms you'd like us to explain? Thanks again ❤
