      Your welcome brother! I have a 2015 Toyota Corolla L base model trim level has had about 10 different mufflers finally I decided in 2021 replaced stock resonator with a 12 inch in length 2.25/2.25 in/out Vibrant Performance resonator then in 2023 right after the Vibrant Performance resonator custom 2.25 inch exhaust pipe to a Paradox Signature Series Elite muffler center/center 2.25/2.25 in/out 14 inch body 19 inches in length with Vibrant Performance exhaust tip 2.25 in-4out 7.75 in length. The bigger exhaust piping made the car alot more deeper sounding. I've had my eye on the black widow venom 250 muffler 2.50/2.50 offset/offset but don't know how good they would sound on my car and also if the muffler would fit slightly snug over my existing custom 2.25 exhaust piping or if I would have my exhaust shop put like pipe increaser or something to the muffler to make it fit? Also looked at going back to borla pro xs or magnaflow. I haven't yet tried a Vibrant Performance muffler offset offset 2.25/2.25 either. Just not sure should I go chambered with Black widow or free flowing like Vibrant Performance, Borla, Magnaflow etc?

      @@marvelousmarvin956 Black widow is not chambered in a sense. Its more true straight throught then magnaflow or borla. It has 2 chambers on the side with small holes to take out drone but it is almost completely open inside other then that. Chamber mufflers do give deeper tones as well. But the venoms will work and the 2.5 muffler will add a deep tone as well, i assume that the muffler is in the rear behind the bumper so you can also try exhaust tips to slightly change the tone as well. They do make "reducers" for exhaust for changing sizes. So a reducer that is id 2.25 to od 2.5 will work. I have done it many times. So the id 2.25 side will slide over the 2.25 pipe and the od 2.5 will slide into the muffler just like any 2.5 pipe should on a muffler. You can get them from most auto parts stores and summit or jegs.

      @@EfurdGarage Awesome thankyou I appreciate your help brother means a lot man! Yes my muffler is in the back behind the bumper with the exhaust tip coming out just slightly past the bumper by like a hair. So the Black widow venom 250 would be a lot deeper then magnaflow and Borla that is awesome I like that and it would probably be deeper than the muffler I have on the car currently then. Thankyou again I appreciate it man!

    Hey Brother! Like those those Black Widows. Sound better than my Magnaflows. They have a nice flowmaster sound to them. Will check them out. Gonna do an engine swap this winter, at least I am hoping to do that is If I can find the engine I want to put in. The 460 BBF has to go, going stroker build small block. So will also change the exhaust. Thanks for sharing! Cheers from Motown home of the Detroit Muscle.

      Thank you. Yea i am one that has never been a fan of the magnaflows. That style muffler just has never impressed me, but i agree these have that tone you look for on a chambered muffler but deeper and louder

    Kinda reminds me of thrush turbo mufflers. My grandpa always ran turbo mufflers on his trucks. These are a little bit louder though

    • @EfurdGarage
      @EfurdGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think they are a bit closer to the thursh welded then turbos but still louder and a deeper tone

      @@EfurdGarage my grandpas last truck was a 70s f100 and it had a 460 bbf with headers and true duals with turbo mufflers, so it had a lot of tone. My uncle owns a muffler shop and I've ran at least 10 different mufflers on my obs k1500. I always end up running the original 40 Series Flowmasters, true duals no cats and 2.5" pipes. With long tube headers.

      @@Bobthebuilder.69 well being a block does indeed help with the tone. I do like 2.5 duals on most everything. I do personally prefer thrush over flowmaster. But the 40s is very classic as well
