- When Jane and her man booked Sonnies Air Bnb, they were excited to spend December together. Jane wanted her man from the US to fill at home.
But just few days after booking the house for a month, they left to visit their loved ones never to come back
Weeks later, Sonnie would receive the news of Jane’s death and strangers in her house who were demanding for “John’s” things and documents claiming they were his legal children and they had no idea who Jane was

4th she allowed this people to carry John's staff without involving the police
5th She didn't report when this people threatened her

By her doing interviews comes off as though she is seeking to parade a certain narrative to the masses which is usually a trait of lying. I do not think she harmed them. But maybe she is lying about her relationship with both of them or one of them
The CCTV thing doesn't add. Common sense of CCTV is the entry point always has CCTV. How could they skip the entry but put on the room.

Clearly, John was having an affair with Jane who had convinced him to invest in Airbnb together. Since he lives in America, she would have had more control of the business. Obviously, his family wouldn't have supported this endeavor and his son's were willing to do whatever it took to stop their dad from involving himself business wise with Jane. My question is why was Jane so comfortable to invite the host to John's son wedding? Clearly the sons didn't approve of their (dad's and Jane) relationship. It seems like the dad had shared with his sons more information about his dealings with Jane. That explains why they had the key and knew the exact apartment. Just my opinion!!

Me as a CID. My top 8 questions!
1. How did the host know what Jane had and what was missing from her belongings?? Did she have an inventory from day 1 of Jane's stuff?
2. As soon as the host spoke on the managers phone and told the sons not to pick anything, why didn't the manager take the key and tell them to get out and lock the door before they picked anything?
3. The gatemen should say how much they were paid.
4. Why did the host search for Jane's family on Facebook and not do the same for John if she really wanted to know his whereabouts.
5. How did she know the son had rented an airbnb close to where John was? Did the son give her this information?
6. And if he knows where the son is why didn't she ask the police to get him and take them to the hospital he purports the dad to be in?
7. How did she know they have moved John to several hospitals yet claims to not know where John is??
8. Regarding the claimed accident, did she bother to ask the police to verify this information about the time, date, and scene of the accident??
Question number 7 is the most intriguing. She is not disclosing everything she knows.

Ebbyz mom wanted closure irrespective of the investigations still ongoing she knew she only gets justice if she lays it all out, the name of the school, the staff member she suspected. What closure are you hoping to get when no information is being offered to the public. No names, no pictures, no locations
2. She says Johnz family never reached out to her. They reache out to you as who. Thats just low key narcissistic. A family is dealing with unexplained loss and you want them to reach out to you oh dear stranger
3. Why does she want to be the face of this tragedy yet technically its non of her business. I actually find it disrespectful that she has denied a family from telling their story. Her side of events should be a complementary to what the family would say not her parading herself as the most affected
4. People, celebrities die in hotels but the only time hotel owners want all this attention is if they are partly responsible and they think my shaping the narrative to people would remove them as suspects
5. Its one thing for the police to call you for help, its another when you call the lights and camera to tell a tragedy that's not yours. Thats like a neighbor calling the media to tell how his neighbors child was raped just cz they were there. This story doesn't add up. Having worked it a mental hospital, it takes long to know if someone is ok or not. How did she know John didn't have a mental issue within a week unless she had known him for years.

This story doesn't make any sense whatsoever. The lady keeps contradicting herself. The whole thing is bogus. This lady should clearly state what her involvement was in the man's disappearance and come clean over how long she knew "Jane" before the air bnb booking. Also, if Jane truly "died" in a road accident in Nakuru, there would be a police record documenting the fatal accident. Also the notion that "John" who is supposedly injured and unresponsive keeps being moved from hospital to hospital and therefore cannot be located is the stuff of Scooby-Doo. I have a very bad feeling that the male tenant was baited by two women and done in.

Something not clear about this story. You meet clients, rent your space out to them, for a month which they didn't even stay. But within that period you have become friends, they can leave documents with you, they can tell you their story and how they have been together for 10 years, invite yiu for their sons wedding. Even brought you the video to watch 🤔🤔 I don't know why I am not convinced you guys weren't friends longer than stated. Feels like you knew the lady way before this Airbnb issue. I have a few questions but for now, finding out where 'John' is should really not be a challenge coz the AirBnB host must have retained a copy of his passport when booking them in, or if he used a local agent, they must have taken a copy of his passport.
But with or without the passport, the US Embassy will definitely know which hospital their citizen is being treated at.
Even the police should by now be able to give details about the accident and where the victims and survivors were taken to.
Sonnie seems to know more than just meeting them for the first time as clients, well that's not the major issue but could she also have a hint of any unrest they might have been facing... The son needs to be arrested to explain his dad's whereabout and how he came to know all this....

This is why AirBnB insists that all communications be done through the app.
Airbnb topic is so timely, why? They are unregulated. Where you live right now whether uptown or far thika or uthiru your neighbour/landlord/agent could be into this business without you knowing(if it bothers you) . This might become a big issue on headlines if not controlled. New apartments rising up in Nairobi and few kilometres away from CBD are into this business. A friend shared this imagine renting/ buying/living in an apartment as a young family and the contract says this is a residential property not commercial property but your landlord/agent/neighbour bought the next door house for business or even the agent company collecting rent on behalf of the landlord has pimped several houses in the same building as Airbnb without tenants knowledge. Parking space gets full every weekends, loud music, strangers, fights, insecurity and drug abuse. I understand the urgency to pay off construction loans that landlords/house owners and for this reason apartments might not be suitable for long term 'stayers'. Take away: as affordable as apartments buying may be or will be, might suit your youthful needs/business, think long term and get a home for your family and children.

If you were listening properly she clearly says on the same time stamp, the couple told her how they met and how long they had been together in their conversation.
Think of it logically, she doesn't have to re-narrate their entire love story. When someone tells you about their "how we met story, they also most often will tell you of either the times they parted and came back or a time when a relationship had a breakdown if ever and how they came back together and are still together.

Theres alot of questions here that we havent gotten answers too.Lynn today did not ask so many questions like the CID she has always been.Sonnie has said that she knew the son booked a bnb close to her house.how did she know that.again if she knew she would have taken the police there to arrest the son and take the items back.again just the same as she was able to reach janes parents from social media,the same would have been done to john and maybe she would have gotten one person who would have known his home areas.Again,after the phone call Sonnie had with the johns son,knowing thta there was some kind of foul play here,the management would have not allowed the son to get away with either the key or the items since they were not the ones booked there.

My dear Sonnie, you may have done everything in good faith. Being overly hospitable beyond limit can have your fingers burnt especially when dealing with total strangers. From the word go, there were clear red flags. Criminals first seek to earn your trust by pretending to trust you fully. So they trust you to keep their envelope whose contentso are so dear to leave in their fully hired accommodation, carry it with them or probably request for Safe facility. Remember, you have absolutely no idea what animal was inside that sealed envelope. Next they forget to leave the door key behind, which later end up with unauthorized per sons, who access the room without notice or permission. They end up tampering with the room and claim to be family. This does not add up at all but I hope the truth shall come out one day. Relax and let the law take its cause. Take good care of yourself and learn from this experience. Pole for the inconvenience this has already caused you.
And why would you befriend people purportedly to have just met and chat.wirh them daily to the point of inviting them to your own private home like why?.

We are in hospitality business and run a B & B and there some customers who its very essy to click

Sorry Lynn there is more than meets the eye.. She has mixed business with friendship. If truly she followed the business line she would not be in that position. Again I have not heard her talk of the breach in SECURITY!!! in the apartment block. That is crucial. There are many gaps in this story. Do not take guests who are not on Abnb Up ever better earn less but avoid this kind of scenario.

I think before Jane died they were questioned about where they were staying (location), documents, transactions details before being killed and also gave details about the BnB owner....so the brothers knew everything before coming to that BnB

1.If Jane died, was there any postmortem report on the cause of her death?
2. If the apartment is under surveillance, how did the so called "son" and co access the place?
3. Why can't police probe the "son" and get to know where their Dad is hospitalized?
4. Can their phones data be investigated to show their last movements and communication?
Since it was already a police case, why did they allow some items to be collected by strangers?
Also from where the accident happened, the police around there must have been involved. They should be able to give all details of the accident, what happened and where the casualties were moved to.

Lynn can't be able to ask lots of questions coz the case is in hands of the police...we know her good work....she will finally tell us details afterwards.
In that case, I suggest she was not supposed to handle this case altogether until the courts are done. There is a risk of using her show to solicit pity.
