After listening to the two stories, l feel this family needs healing and they should find a mediator, a neutral person to come resolve these issues. You can see they are all hurting, both sides are suspicious of the other for their father's death, its all because the way dad died will obviously leave questions. But to hear Peter saying why Peter is suspicious about his father running away from neibours when in the beginning of his interview he mentioned that his father was sick mentally boggles the mind. So it only fits that dad was not in his right mind when he was putting properties in shiko's mother but when he runs away its suspicious in another way again. To hear Peter having questions about why Shiko's mum went to the iniaguration by herself leaving dad behind is funny because how many times does every couple in the universe does that. On the other hand you question the way Shiko speaks about the neighbors and how they did not come to rescue when baba supposedly screamed, she speaks about it with so much hatred as if the neighbors were on the fence looking on when it was all happening and as if her family will no longer need them as neighbors again, I mean she is not careful with words. What l can also say is Peter is mature, yes obviously because he is 40 and the girls are younger but also because he answered and put out his side after listening to the girls' story and obviously would be cautious of how to make good lines. To hear mama shiko saying the Investigating officers came to ask about ownership of the land also makes her family act in they way they are acting because they wonder where it can be coming except from those they may consider to be interested in the land. To hear that Peter's family stayed in that compound also made sense when he says he deserves a share of the compound which he also refers as prime and he has memories of the place. What l would encourage for this family is to listen to each other constructively and do a fair deal for each of them. They are all hurting and you can see that some of their reasoning is blinded by the pain of loosing their father in the different ways they have lost him and for Peter it was a second loss. I wish they can resolve their issues amicably and fairly and come together as a united family. Shiko and Imma take heart girls, mend things with your brother, he is literally your father now. Somebody in Kenya close to these guys help by recommending Pastors, respected figures in the society to intervene and help this family. Death is a thief, death is a sting, it tears families. Lord help this family.
This shows the importance of hearing both sides of the story... I believe the problem here is the second wife...she is selfish and manipulated the husband and her daughters into turning against the first wife and her children. After listening to the two stories, l feel this family needs healing and they should find a mediator, a neutral person to come resolve these issues. You can see they are all hurting, both sides are suspicious of the other for their father's death, its all because the way dad died will obviously leave questions. But to hear Peter saying why Peter is suspicious about his father running away from neibours when in the beginning of his interview he mentioned that his father was sick mentally boggles the mind. So it only fits that dad was not in his right mind when he was putting properties in shiko's mother but when he runs away its suspicious in another way again. To hear Peter having questions about why Shiko's mum went to the iniaguration by herself leaving dad behind is funny because how many times does every couple in the universe does that. On the other hand you question the way Shiko speaks about the neighbors and how they did not come to rescue when baba supposedly screamed, she speaks about it with so much hatred as if the neighbors were on the fence looking on when it was all happening and as if her family will no longer need them as neighbors again, I mean she is not careful with words. What l can also say is Peter is mature, yes obviously because he is 40 and the girls are younger but also because he answered and put out his side after listening to the girls' story and obviously would be cautious of how to make good lines. To hear mama shiko saying the Investigating officers came to ask about ownership of the land also makes her family act in they way they are acting because they wonder where it can be coming except from those they may consider to be interested in the land. To hear that Peter's family stayed in that compound also made sense when he says he deserves a share of the compound which he also refers as prime and he has memories of the place.
What l would encourage for this family is to listen to each other constructively and do a fair deal for each of them. They are all hurting and you can see that some of their reasoning is blinded by the pain of loosing their father in the different ways they have lost him and for Peter it was a second loss. I wish they can resolve their issues amicably and fairly and come together as a united family. Shiko and Imma take heart girls, mend things with your brother, he is literally your father now. Somebody in Kenya close to these guys help by recommending Pastors, respected figures in the society to intervene and help this family. Death is a thief, death is a sting, it tears families. Lord help this family.
