Okay yeah still indecisive about the gingham flats and also not really loving the two outfits I put together with the floral blazer, how would you style these two differently?
Wear the gingham flats with a more cropped leg jeans, they looked great with the ones you tried on, but were just too long and covered the shoes too much.
For the floral blazer I would try to pick colors from the pattern to style with it and make sure that the outfit underneath has shape. Like in the first one I think the color was too much going on and the second one you have no waist which I think never looks good in combination with blazers
I also liked the blazer with the floral skirt. They did match. I would wear it with a dress. Don't you have a denim dress? That is what I pictured with it
For the pastel green cardigan you could use the last button and transplant it in place of the missing button - I think it looks better and it's easier to style if the last button is missing and not the one in the middle :)
Sometimes there's an extra button sewn on the side seam tag, in case you lose one. Also, these buttons don't seem too "extra" so finding a similar one at the haberdasher shouldn't be too difficult. Another possibility would be to get one fancy button, sew it on the top and replace the missing one with the former top button. So you get a little "necklace looking" eyecatcher 🪡
I'm glad to see these items paired with more basic items. there's absolutely nothing wrong with basics and it's how a lot of us actually dress. Seeing someone still have a unique personal style and find ways to incorporate basic pieces is great.
if you're going to dye the skort black be sure to dip the black vest in the same dye too! Sometimes blacks can have different undertones and it would look a little off if paired together.
Hey girly!! 🌈. I recommend pairing your white biker jacket with one of your dainty long slip dresses. Maybe pair it your white long slip dress or one of your colorful pieces. You can edge it up with your Doc Martens and then ta-da!! You have a gorgeous fit 💕.
I love that quilted vest. I'd wear it over a chambray shirt. I'd wear that red silk top with wide-leg black pants - definitely date night. The checked shoes are good with a dress. They look odd with jeans. I love the green cardigan, too. If you can't find a matching button, it's no big deal to replace all of them. I like the shorts in navy, but then, I wear a lot of navy. Almost everything will go with navy. I'd wear the floral blazer with jeans or with a white or denim dress.
Alexa, I would love to see another type of video where you have your subscribers style your clothes that you buy but never wear or ones in general that you have a hard time styling.
I would love to see a follow up video to this where you actually wear the outfits for a week, and then see your thoughts after having to wear each piece for a day!
That white leather jacket is basically a neutral. I’d love to see you try it as just an outer layer for any regular outfit you put together. I think you’re overthinking that one.
The red top from Realization Par could maybe be casual-ified with another top underneath? I think it would be a great casual corset vibe because it fits you so perfectly 💃🏻
I think you can also play up your hair to match your outfits, I was thinking space buns and some black sunglasses with the white jacket outfit would tie it all together. Hair is an accessory!
The green pastel cardigan, the Moto jacket outfits, and the red sweater Nike outfit are ALL AMAZINGGGGG. I wish savers was open RIGHT NOW bc I am INSPIRED
The red top is stunning! The outfit with the jeans and black heels IS casual to me! I would wear that exact outfit to poke around the shops downtown on a Saturday in the summer.
I love the red realization par top with the pronted pants. It's perfection :) I also really like the floral blazer and floral skirt outfit. I think it really suits yoir vibe! I'd wear it.
seems like there would be a bunch of great outfits with that first vest so not sure about just doing one that doesn't work and letting it go... i think wearing a vest over functionally another vest isn't gonna look as good as if you wore it over a t-shirt or a button down. i think it would look great with the overalls outfit you used the cardigan for
I hated those sneakerish shoes when i first saw them, but both of your outfits with them are so cute! Also, i absolute love the red top with the leopard print pants! I think the red top would look great with the white leather jacket as well, maybe with black or white bottoms.
The red realisation par top would look cool with black wideleg trousers. Navy shorts are perfect as is. Green cardigan could use new buttons or shift thfm upwards so theres no gap.
Floral blazer looks perfect for a wedding or any kind of daytime/summer formal event :) so even if you only casually style it occasionally it's alright 👌 back in the 2010s it would slay with a white cowl neck top and skinny jeans, could make something like that work for you today!
The gingham flats are a MUST keep, they looked amazing on and suit you so much!! The first jeans outfit for them was literally perfect and I really feel like you could pair with so many spring/summer items in your closet!
The outfits were great! And I totally agree that sometimes we feel like ALL items have to be “versatile” in a really unrealistic way, some things like your fancy red top are perfect being special occasion items! I’m not going to wear my 1980s velvet party dress with fluffy tulle underskirt all the time, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t belong in my wardrobe 🤭! Or more realistically-my interview suit! It’s fine to try to wear things in new ways but we also have to remember not everything has to be for everyday wear 🙌
you’ve inspired me to wear my realisation heart top with leopard pants omg (i also wear that top with black shorts and moto boots/ docs/ cowboy boots in a more casual way and love it)
i would love if you did another video with pieces you need help with/need to style more on that app like before so we could make outfits for you to try!
I'm definitely going to!!! I dont know why I didn't for this one like that would have been so fun to have the 2nd outfit be one that YOU style! Definitely working on that version of the video asap!
wait but the first piece with a white button up, a red and blue plaid skirt, black flats and white thigh highs with big black sunnies and a red leather purseeeee
The white jacket has so much potential. It's giving elevated sporty, think Aviator Nation or Formula One. Definitely try it with a splash of red or blue (those are the two colors I see in the stripes, anyway), maybe both?! Go big, go bold, and I can totally see it being such a trendsetter / k-pop it girl look. Sometimes, I find that leaning into a punchier option works better than trying to tone down with basics or neutral.
I feel like with the flats, you need a fun red bag or tote ( maybe a crossbody? ) and a light jacket or cardigan in the same color. I like both the outfits you put them with but it needs more accessories to feel more cohesive! ❤🍒
Loved this vid and your styling. Recently, I've rediscovered that hair and makeup can really make an outfit (I wore this super cute, sort of blokette fit BUT had wet hair, and horrible makeup, it was bad) and I feel most of these would be even prettier with a pretty eye look or something ☺
For the green cardigan with the missing button. Just take off either the top or bottom button and sew it in where the middle one is missing. Leaving the top or bottom buttons undone looks purposeful and no one will notice it's missing there. (and the soft green looks so good on you that you HAVE to keep it)
The tied straps can easily be converted into single straps. I would style the ballet flats with long baggy jeans and some HD graphic top to lower the cuteness.
I would suggest trying the sandwich method with the gingham shoes. Wear them with a top that goes well with it, like pink or red and a neutral in between, like jeans or black skirt etc. I would als try the floral blazer with the navy shorts.
You have a couple patchwork skirts that I’m surprised you didn’t try with the first vest, with a simple T-shirt, but it is very boho, and that shade of blue in it rather dominates it.
Hey Alexa, you could try the white leather jacket over your red turtleneck or over your black & white gingham dress! 😊 With the floral blazer: I would switch out the yellow floral skirt for your white teared maxi skirt maybe?
De red heart top would look great with a black turtleneck underneath, a black skirt with tights and dr martens. And definitely pair it with your red big scrunchy :)
You could try your black and white gingham dress under the moto jacket? Or if you own black and white gingham pants those could be fun since they kind of mimic a checkered flag used in racing.
I love wearing floral blazers! Two things that I like to Do When styling them is pick out a colour from the blazer and where a graphic T that has colours from the floral blazer (bonus points if the graphic has a few colours similar to the floral blazer) similarly pick a colour from the floral blazer and pair with pants in that same colour- I particularly love this with patterned pants of small classic prints (think gingham, polka dot or plaid)
I adore the floral blazer, keep it! It may not be as ”fun”, but styling it with all monochrome look underneath like white trousers/jeans (something with linen maybe 😍) and top would look amazing. I think. 😅
I try to do the same. It's either like "it's so cute, I'm not getting rid of it" and then it stays in my closet without ever being worn, or like "let's donate it" and then it sits in my donation bag until it's no longer the suitable season to donate that item.
Definitely keep the floral blazer! It’s a beautiful statement piece. I just would never pair it with black, even black shoes. In my opinion the beautiful pastel color palette got washed out in the second outfit. I’d pair it with silky midi/maxi dresses! Keep it light, denim also looks great.
The vest would probably work wayyy better with denim or red since it would match the colors and be a little bit playful whereas the top and bottom pieces of the white outfit were matching too well with each other so the vest looked a little "out of place" even though it wasn't that bad !
Hi! I love navy blue it's so classy and fresh! I personally think you should leave the shorts as it is since it's perfect! It goes so well with both outfits you styled. I think black would not look as nearly as good as navy. I vote for the shorts to stay as it is! 💙
You made me wonder why I never ware my ballet flats. Of corse, makes my fet look even flatter too and not suportive enough I love my cardigans, but honestly I always grabe the same ones first Love your jacket, easy peazy outfit Ow I need to style my Keens with fun colorfull socks, maybee I would ware them more! Grate insperation
I love the white jacket with the stripe. I think you have to go high contrast-- wear something under that totally contrasts either in type, like by being floral and feminine or industrial/cargo, or color, by being colors that compliment but don't match, like a blue monochrome outfit underneath.
I have a similar floral blazer but with a base of black instead of white. I always go for edgier or more masculine pieces underneath to make it feel less like I’m going to church on Easter. Maybe try styling it with a graphic tee or button down and jeans/trousers? Or a denim dress/skirt? I also style mine with polka dots or animal print a lot.
Hey alexa ☺ guess what, its actually fall time here in Australia, and I'm personally VERY excited for the fall fashion. Example, I have a fall themed vest with acorns and leaves on it, and I'm gonna wear it next time I leave the house 🍂 I know you personally love a good themed vest or cardigan as well
The ballet shoes look adorable on you no one can tell if you have flat feet they look so cute with that little white dress and the wide leg jeans you look adorable
The gingham mary jane flats look really cute with the sundress, and don't make your feet look flat imo. They'd be really cute with a ditsy floral sundress and tiered midi/maxi skirts, too!
For the checkered ballett flats: I think it would look better with jeans/ pants that hit at the ankle rather than droop onto the foot. So the small of the ankle is showing and ties in better with such a cute and dainty shoe.
Okay yeah still indecisive about the gingham flats and also not really loving the two outfits I put together with the floral blazer, how would you style these two differently?
Wear the gingham flats with a more cropped leg jeans, they looked great with the ones you tried on, but were just too long and covered the shoes too much.
I think the gingham flats would have worked well with the dress with some dark tights!
That is what I pictured with it
Gingham flats with the black matching set after you dye the navy skirt!!
I think a video of someone with different style than you coming to style your clothes for you would be fun.
That would be a fun collab! And then do the same for them.
yessss with Carrie!
Yes! This would be sooo cool
Yes!!
Would love to see this with StealTheSpotlight!!!
For the pastel green cardigan you could use the last button and transplant it in place of the missing button - I think it looks better and it's easier to style if the last button is missing and not the one in the middle :)
100%. came in to make this reco. another option is to drop the very top button and/or put a contrast/statement button there.
Perfect solution.
I was just about to comment this!!
For the red love heart bustier, you could wear it over a baby tee to dress it down and make it more wearable day to day
Exactly what I was thinking. Her Black Stones tee would match the vibe perfectly!!
I'm glad to see these items paired with more basic items. there's absolutely nothing wrong with basics and it's how a lot of us actually dress. Seeing someone still have a unique personal style and find ways to incorporate basic pieces is great.
My go-to formula with difficult to style outfits is to combine it with basic outfits. And that's okay coz it makes it more usable.
Especially monochrome black. It works with everything.
if you're going to dye the skort black be sure to dip the black vest in the same dye too! Sometimes blacks can have different undertones and it would look a little off if paired together.
That first vest looks like something Kathleenillustrated would totally rock!
@kathleenillustrated 1:45
That red tank looks DIVINE on you.
I need to do this too. It’s easy to grab things you think are cute but it’s sometimes hard to tell if you will actually get wear out of it
Yep! I've found lucid dreaming helpful in the decisiveness and clarity of picturing yourself wearing it (and where). Hope that helps 😅😅😅
I love the navy shorts as they are! The outfits you’ve styled with them are great! I say let them be they’re perf
The heart top would be gorgeous with a black skirt. Either a mini skirt or a black slip skirt.
Or more causal with a long black skirt ☺️
Hey girly!! 🌈. I recommend pairing your white biker jacket with one of your dainty long slip dresses. Maybe pair it your white long slip dress or one of your colorful pieces. You can edge it up with your Doc Martens and then ta-da!! You have a gorgeous fit 💕.

Alexa, I would love to see another type of video where you have your subscribers style your clothes that you buy but never wear or ones in general that you have a hard time styling.
The red boots with the white leather jacket are BOMB omg
That red polka dot too with those light wash jeans and black heels was SO adorable on you
I agree! I liked it with the jeans better than with the leopard pants.
I would love to see a follow up video to this where you actually wear the outfits for a week, and then see your thoughts after having to wear each piece for a day!

The red top from Realization Par could maybe be casual-ified with another top underneath? I think it would be a great casual corset vibe because it fits you so perfectly 💃🏻
the first outfit with the floral blazer was SO cute!!! very 80s
the quilt/patchwork vest with a puff sleeve blouse and jeans!!!!
The first Outfit with the flower blazer gives me ABBA vibes in the best way possible
Also, the realisation top with black/grey long baggy jeans, a cropped black cardigan and the ballet flats 🤌
omg the red going out top and the white leather jacket together would be SO good 🤩
Those Mary Jane’s look sooooo cute on you!!!
If you end up dying the pleated skort black, it would look incredible with the red top!!
The white leather jacket with red gingham pants and red boots with a white or black baby T would be everythingggg!!
The red top is stunning! The outfit with the jeans and black heels IS casual to me! I would wear that exact outfit to poke around the shops downtown on a Saturday in the summer.
15:40 I'm picturing you wearing the floral blazer on top of a fitted/bodycon red dress (or any solid color mini dress) ❤
Ahh the pastel green cardigan would have been soooo cute with the pink hair you once had❤
I love the red realization par top with the pronted pants. It's perfection :)
I also really like the floral blazer and floral skirt outfit. I think it really suits yoir vibe! I'd wear it.
4:01 totaly B-Jones vibe *.* yeeeessss for print mixing
Floral blazer with a dress! That would be cute! 💖
Looove the white leather jacket with the red cowboy boots 😍❤️
The red top with the leopard print pants is such a good look. It reminded me of Peggy from married with children and I loved it!
The first floral blazer was AMAZING
seems like there would be a bunch of great outfits with that first vest so not sure about just doing one that doesn't work and letting it go... i think wearing a vest over functionally another vest isn't gonna look as good as if you wore it over a t-shirt or a button down. i think it would look great with the overalls outfit you used the cardigan for

Love the silk top with leopard ❤
Also try black skirt too. Keep it. Love the black shorts with the white jacket. Black & white.
I understand the flats problem because I share it, but I really liked both outfits with the gingham Mary janes.
You should wear the mary-jane with ankle jeans. The first jacket could look good with a simple white t-shirt or a red dress
This video inspired me to reevaluate my unworn but nice items in my wardrobe and give them a new life ❤
The navy skort might be cute with the white leather jacket and the red boots or the nike shoes
I thought the exact same thing
The outfits were great! And I totally agree that sometimes we feel like ALL items have to be “versatile” in a really unrealistic way, some things like your fancy red top are perfect being special occasion items! The navy shorts with the going out red/black top 💁♀️ the floral blazer think would go well with a pink dress ❤
the floral blazer would work really well with light wash denim jeans I think!!
you’ve inspired me to wear my realisation heart top with leopard pants omg (i also wear that top with black shorts and moto boots/ docs/ cowboy boots in a more casual way and love it)

3:58 nooo this is so you!! Im usually not fussed with animal print, but this really impressed me
The floral blazer would look fantastic with some mismatched denim. I envision it with a denim dress with a mix of blue denim patches (:
The white jacket has so much potential. It's giving elevated sporty, think Aviator Nation or Formula One. Definitely try it with a splash of red or blue (those are the two colors I see in the stripes, anyway), maybe both?! Go big, go bold, and I can totally see it being such a trendsetter / k-pop it girl look. I need that vest 😭😭😭 and I think navy looks great on you
For the silk top you could tie the ties as a halter neck as an alternative option !! Just an idea it might make it more casual too love it 😊
Loved this vid and your styling. Recently, I've rediscovered that hair and makeup can really make an outfit (I wore this super cute, sort of blokette fit BUT had wet hair, and horrible makeup, it was bad) and I feel most of these would be even prettier with a pretty eye look or something ☺

The tied straps can easily be converted into single straps. I would style the ballet flats with long baggy jeans and some HD graphic top to lower the cuteness.
That combo at 15:40 is easily my favorite out of all the outfits! SO fun and fashionable! Love it!!
Navy with yellow, pink, red, pr the jacket all work. I love the navy shorts and the Spring floral. You can rock any look, by the way.
i just found your yt channel and i love it! i loved your 2014 styling videos 🩷🎀
I think that maybe the red top with the string straps and the white leather jacket could look great together!
I was team keep-it-navy until you styled it with that black vest - if you can get the shade of black identical then it’ll be amazing!!
Wow girl! The red top was made for you!! So beautiful!
I would suggest trying the sandwich method with the gingham shoes. Wear them with a top that goes well with it, like pink or red and a neutral in between, like jeans or black skirt etc. I would als try the floral blazer with the navy shorts.
I also think the idea of an accent works though too- like all white plus those shoes or all black and those shoes.
Wow you look so beautiful in those long denim overalls! 😊 you showed off some other good clothes in this video too! Great job on this video! ☺️
You have a couple patchwork skirts that I’m surprised you didn’t try with the first vest, with a simple T-shirt, but it is very boho, and that shade of blue in it rather dominates it.
you're making me excited about fashion again!!
Hey Alexa, you could try the white leather jacket over your red turtleneck or over your black & white gingham dress! 😊
With the floral blazer: I would switch out the yellow floral skirt for your white teared maxi skirt maybe?
Wait I love the cow print with the leopard and the silk top.
De red heart top would look great with a black turtleneck underneath, a black skirt with tights and dr martens. And definitely pair it with your red big scrunchy :)
hair and make up in this video really suits u!
The floral blazer with your denim maxi dress would a Steel Magnolias dream!!
YESSSS ALEXA POSTED 🎉
❤❤❤❤
You could try your black and white gingham dress under the moto jacket? Or if you own black and white gingham pants those could be fun since they kind of mimic a checkered flag used in racing.
All of those looked incredibly cute on you.
I love wearing floral blazers! I didn’t really like those shoes until you put them with the denim skirt. They look great with that!!
You made me wonder why I never ware my ballet flats. Of corse, makes my fet look even flatter too
and not suportive enough
I love my cardigans, but honestly I always grabe the same ones first
Love your jacket, easy peazy outfit
Ow I need to style my Keens with fun colorfull socks, maybee I would ware them more!
Grate insperation
Red bustier top is a thumbs up , definitely not with leopard print
I love the white jacket with the stripe. I think you have to go high contrast-- wear something under that totally contrasts either in type, like by being floral and feminine or industrial/cargo, or color, by being colors that compliment but don't match, like a blue monochrome outfit underneath.
Hear me out... pair the second piece over a peter pan collar blouse with a maxi skirt and boots! I feel like that could be a really great look!
oh my god, that would for sure look incredible!!!
Girl you could wear a freaking paper bag and still look amazing 😭 you are gorgeous!!
