Gotta love the dusk wardens, they massacred a corrupted town, fought eldritch horrors, stopped an interdimensional threat, but were defeated by a bunch of hungry furries.

The new mics are awesome!!! But, I do miss Monty leaning back in his chair laughing at the shenanigans and having the laugh fade out and in.
I love how Joe Totally gets into his character and his old god shenanigans, that's what draws me into that subclass the most !!
This is somewhat off topic but please everyone like this so Kelly see's it. Wilhelm needs to adopt George so that they can maintain their alliance with Caspia. This would be analogous the way Romans would adopt someone to strengthen alliances and gain new heirs so it probably wouldn't be without precedent in their world. It would solve the problem of having someone to rule in George's stead since he's not old enough and because his father is dead it would further cement the alliance of the two families and give further legitimacy to George.
I had the same thought when he first revealed himself to Elias.
If he quietly designated George his heir, it might be enough to keep the Caspians. Hopefully, Wilhelm himself will bring the northern lords and other fence-sitters.
The best outcome, though, would be for the Academy and the Church to come to an agreement on delerium. Ideally, I think the Academy should quarantine and study Drakkenheim, if possible. The Silver Order and allies can focus their efforts on cleaning up (destroying) delerium beyond Drakkenheim.
I'm watching for the first time, so I don't know how things unfold.
I feel like the season finale, whenever it happens, should end with someone turning to Wilhelm and saying "You are aware that Bruce is an eldritch abomination and not just a cat, right?"
Monty saying "and some questionable sausage" is my new ring tone.
How do you extract part of the videos audio to make it your ring?
I love the colour coordination/progression in your looks:
Jill shows the red engulfing the dark, followed by Kelly's depiction of the dark flanking the red, and Joe finishing it off with the red encased in dark.
I'm surprised Kelly didn't shave considering the events of last episode.
I pictured Rikkard like a werewolf Red Green and I love it 😆

The episode live on Twitch yesterday was amazing! Big combat scenes!
Audio guy here. If you're planning a setup, always try and opt for overhead micing first. In static settings like this, you have the luxury of being able to frame the shot in a way where the mics won't show and there's no audience whose view would be obstructed. Fixed setup means no battery issues, no transmitter/receiver issues, no rustling issues and no fiddling to get miced up. You basically set your setup once, sound check it and then just take 1 minute before each session to make sure everything is still as it shoud.
As for which type of mic: use hypercardioids and aim them at the talent's chest area. It will pick up the voice just fine with the benefit of the upper body moving a lot less than the head.
Theater mics (like the ones the group is using) and lavalier mics (the ones you wear on your collar, for TV e.g.) should always be your last choice for all the issues they bring with them and the difficulty to get the setup right.

Big Rudi is absolutely my favorite thing that happens lately in the campaign. Every episode, I find myself waiting for it to happen.
Missed opportunity for "Cut his heart out with a spoon."
I was very happy that Bruce got some spotlight on him again this episode. Best character of the whole party.
I've rewatched this a couple times, and I must say, Monty's acting is so good, he's so good at protraying Richard Steelfang, it's not an easy character to tackle and so well

FYI, there was one particular audio issue where I heard an echo from all 4 for the few minutes leading up to the break. Not complaining, only informing.

Loving the new season so far! The audio glitches out a little at 1:13:41 (Maybe 42 seconds) seems to get a weird like mono vs stereo thing where everyone can be heard twice. It in no way effects the quality of what you produced with the episode by any means so please don't take it as a negative. Just wanted to make sure you were made aware because you'd asked us to let you know about any audio issues.
I haven't finished the episode yet, when I do (or if it ends before then) I'll edit this post to give the time range of it.
Edit: Still watching, but appears to have fixed itself shortly after the break.

You might concider using a black pudding or the base of your gelatinous cube for Big Rudi to set on if getting a large mini is out of the question. Or just a large size base if you have those available.

This is interesting to watch. My only experience with D&D was making a really powerful monk by fluke good rolls, then putting my noob self into a hole and getting killed by spiders within the first hour....never played again lol.
You should return to the table. A really good monk is just a mediocre character lol jkjk in all seriousness you should play again.
A refreshing and fun storyline. Dungeon Dudes have incredible imagination in their creations.

LOL! SM58 the workhorse of microphones. I love 'em on vocals and guitar amps; cheap buy comparison and can do almost anything. That said I can't argue with the sounds I'm hearing here though and I'm sure these are way more convenient.

laughing about the comment of "questionable sausage . . . " Seriously, though, the video and audio are fabulous! The livestream audio in Twitch was excellent overall, but Monty's microphone volume often would dip too low for extended periods? In the edited TH-cam version, everything sounds great! The cameras are giving you high quality of imagery, and the angles of view are perfect.
What if Rudy had called her delerium axe instead of using the silver sword when he laid down his head on the stool? 😵
Would have gotten them killed. Monty's version of the louo garou can only be killed by inherited silver.

I was thinking Nick Nolte, more gravelly than Red Green.
He sounds a lot like Stellan Skarsgard's character, Cerdic, from King Arthur (2004). I have a hard time not seeing Cerdic when Rikkard speaks.
RIP Ray Stevenson. He was so likeable, as he always was, in the role of Dagonet.

It's a loup garou. It's a type of werewolf that gets its wolf form from a very powerful curse instead of a bite. They are much stronger and basically impervious to damage. I don't know if it's actually a dnd monster or if they home brewed it, but you can see one in action is you read the dresdan files.

Just curious... Inherited, by it's definition means, handed down directly from one family member, or generation, to the next, at the time of death... This was mine, I give it to you, without any takebacks of that giving, before death. Just taking silver from the family isn't the same as inheriting it.
Wilhelm has only one thing he truly inherited from his father... His father's book of rules... And some old books either have metal covers, or a metal spine bolting all the pages together... It was a book handed down from a king, and look at the covers of some of the medieval bibles... Is it possible the book has any silver in it's construction? Or, even a silver bookmark in it's pages?
Or, was his mustache comb his father's? Silver?
Res fail consequence you are now a which doll (sidekick version of your former self at a lower level ). This can be done with or without rolling up a new character.
