Which makes most players thought you have to press attack the moment of successful parry, not realizing that it auto-attack after successful parry and you have to press attack button mid attack animation, so not exactly at the point of impact either. (aka "Almost Christmas isn't Christmas" situation)
Finally! Thank you so much! With that one single sentence I managed to unlock this achievement that has driven me nuts for some time. The game was absolutely not clear at all with this mechanic.
Had no idea what a Righteous Riposte even was until I saw it in the achievements... I'd apparently already done 4 of them somehow. Thanks for the info!

I also had to look up air impulse, and had to mess around awhile before I figured out that you need to *hold* down and attack for the plunging attack. It should just say to hold the button, but it says "press." But that's pretty much the only real fault I've noticed so far. I am thoroughly loving everything else.
I have literally beat this game six times, two with true torment penances working on the third, I got the achievement out of no where, By accident I got it and found out I only had to do it 5 times, now I know how

A janela de tempo é bastante curta, mas se conseguir executar no momento certo, vai aparecer um raio vermelho e branco, indicando que a ação foi bem sucedida. Depois é só apertar o botão de execução para finalizar o inimigo. O que configura o "contra-ataque justo" é o fato de apertar o botão durante o contra-ataque.

Righteous riposte and execution ps4 controller : You have to press 3 DIFFERENT buttons in order to perform them. These are the following : 1ST Right before the enemy hits you press the BLOCK button (R1)and the hero will automatically perform 2 moves , he will block AND automatically attack (counterattack) 2ND WAIT for the counterattack animation but also be quick and in the middle of it press the SQUARE (Attack) button. The hero will do nothing but if u timed it correctly the enemy will glow red and get into a stunned animation 3RD go close to the enemy and press TRIANGLE. the hero will perform an execution Further explanation: Technically only the first 2 steps count as a righteous riposte but the execution is the most fun to perform. Practice in the beginning of the game against the enemies who hold a wheel. If u perform the execution (you take the wheel and hit them in the head) u did everything right. The 2nd step is the most difficult as you dont have a visual feedback from the hero but only from the enemy and the timing is a little bit narrow Have fun!!
I doesn't work for me I'm too leveled they just die from the attack after the parry. So you are hitting attack when it does it automatically? It makes no sense at all

el marco donde tu espada está en el punto más alto del swing, justo antes del impacto es cuando quieres presionar el botón de ataque a la derecha
