You mentioned that since the AT4 has a factory 2" lift, it would be similar to a standard truck with a 4" lift. I just ordered a 2024 AT4 and I'm going to put the 6.5 BDS lift on it. Would this be similar to doing an 8.5" inch lift on a standard truck?
If you’re referring to the 2500HD then the at4 package doesn’t add any additional lift. It’s more of an appearance package. On the 1500 trucks the At4 does get additional lift.
Love this. I've got my 2024 1500 with the Duramax on order. Very interested in this type of lift. What type of ride quality would I expect? I've currently got a 2022 AT4X that rides amazing with the DSSV shocks. How would this compare to the AT4X setup?

Running Ridge Grapplers 35x12.50 with Fuel Rebels and add the GMC Brembo Brakes for phenomenal stopping. Last mod was the Borla Type S exhaust. Complete transformation and i absolutely Love it
Which lift kit/part number is this? Title says bds and i can see it's fox all the way around but there's a bunch of different options/heights on the site

I’m confused. You said the at4 comes with a factory 2” kit and you removed that to put on the bds kit right? Then you said that this truck since it’s an at4 sits about the same height as a non at4 would with a 4 inch kit? Doesn’t this at4 still just have around 2 inches of lift?
Think of this way... you are removing the factory 2" AT4 lift and replacing it with 4" lift to net 2.5" lift over the factory 2" lift. Now I realize that 2+2.5 =4.5 and not 4. The reason for that is that some trucks start out different that others depending on a variety of factory options, mileage ect. Realistically you will net at least 2" , but up to 2.5" over stock AT4 ride height. The ride height can of course be fine tuned to your liking with the adjustable coil over.

I’ve seen your channel install both brands but Just not seeing what the advantage is to using bds vice cognito equivalent and I’m hoping to keep trimming to a minimum
This setup doesn’t rub after trimming. 4” on an at4 woukd net 6”. 6” Total lift wouldn’t need much if any trimming but may start to make the tires look too small

@@orly7171 fuel mileage isn’t something we typically measure, but my personal 1500 with 3.0 duramax got 18-22 mpg with 35s on 22x10 wheels

Oh, I think I get it. So this IS a 4” lift but compared to standard AT4 it’s really a 2.5?
Also, I’ve noticed most of not all 1500s have 35s. Does anyone ever do 33s or smaller than 35 on them or does it just look ridiculous?

If you’re referring to the 1500 platform then Cognito doesn’t offer anything equivalent to this kit at the moment.
