I went to see Joe a couple of times a year and I will truly miss this....a vocalists that is without compare, there is no one else who can take off the stars, sing beautiful songs and have such a warm personality as this.... I will miss him very much. RIP my hero of the stage.
I remember seeing Joe a few times in his earlier days on the Pontins circuit. I remember he once asked who my favourite singer was and I said Gene Pitney. He said he could not do him but suggested I change my mind to Tom Jones. However, all said and done he is/was a fantastic entertainer and he deserved a much broader TV presence. Deserved more than just a MBE.

At first my late father saw him on his television series and vowed if he was performing at the holiday resort we would be booking tickets to see him. His impressions are incredible, but to hear him sing for me is why I love him the most, the richness in his voice is just ........well it has me lost for words. No matter what happens keep on with the fight and if you pack it all in tomorrow you'll never lose our friendship. God bless you.xx

Yes Joe and PJ both have great talent and your variety show suggestion is impressive.They both had a good clubland grounding and learnt their trade. Young singers today come into clubland usually through karaoke, work on their own and have little chance of learning from others.

saw Joe in Dundee last night and was blown away . What a voice! I saw him in Blackpool may years ago but apart from him it was a third rate show. So it was great to see him with a top ensemble including Maurice Grumbleweed who was also fantastic. I do think he should ditch the unflattering hairstyle and his stage clothes were abysmal but his amazing talent overcomes everything. Thanks Joe a wonderful nights entertainment.
