The quality of the editing of this video is on a level of its own, just as Jordan as a player was on a level of his own. It's worth watching just to admire the skill and judgment which went into making it. Good selection of shots, good choice of music, good balance between offense and defense; judicious slow-motion (e.g. 1:45), needed fast-motion to keep the pacing (4:25), perfect synchronization between action and musical beat (2:03, 4:02), well-chosen blending of commentary into the music (2:08-2:13, 2:35-2:38), necessary interruptions and changes of pace to keep the flow (4:18-4:32), repetition and magnification to focus the viewer's attention on the critical point of action (5:10, and 8:05-8:10) and even from multiple angles (5:16), preservation of most-recognized baskets for lynch-pin moments in the video (4:27, 10:26), and best of all, the seamless flow between similar shots (8:52, 10:02).
There is a rare degree of skill on display here.

Jordan was the GOAT just based on the eye test alone. I don't know how anyone can watch his countless highlights and not say he was the best. Oh, and by the way, he was also the fiercest competitor, greatest scorer the NBA has ever seen, played defensively almost as well as he played offensively, won 6 championships without losing one finals, and all the while denying almost an entire generation of hall of famers the chance to win a ring. I thumbsed this but then reviewed each to see if I _actually_ agree with all these statements. Some may be more obvious than others, but I actually think each _BEST_ you named here is true. The way I see it, sometimes God uniquely designed certain humans to stand as THE emblem or the quintessence of their art-medium / sport / discipline: clear examples would be Bach, Nadia, Newton, Leonard Euler, Michael Jackson, et al.
And, thing is, I don't think every sport / craft necessarily has its clear _"one";_ in a lot of them it's not super clear ...but basketball is a category where it's very very clear (Michael Jordan.)

This generation almost makes me hate ever watching Jordan though, because we were watching someone with such gift and standard for greatness that will likely never be duplicated again.
And these new so called superstars are the worst, and watching LeBron, Kyrie, Harden, Durant, and others team hop, trying to stack the deck to win, spamming threes, all while disrespecting the generations before them makes me want to go crazy.

He also defended the very best players of his era. He didn’t shy away from the challenge. He played guard and dominated the best. He posted up and killed whomever defended him. He dunked on the biggest of defenders, the toughest, and the most skilled. He shot game winners. Was clutch personified. Won 6 championships in an era when defense was really brutal. But most of all he brought beauty and romance to the game like none before him. He was a true cross over athlete admired globally like Ali. The GOAT.

"There's Michael Jordan and then there's the rest of us" - Magic Johnson. God just decided to play basketball in 80-90-s and he chose MJ's body. Seems like LBJ fans didn't see MJ in 90s. I've watched both so i can compare and have my opinion. When i watch LBJ, i don't have reaction, just very good play, but i have no emotions. But when i watch MJ's games, still in 2020, this is something amazing, just other level. He moves so smooth, so artistically and his will to be the best with his killer instinct. Maybe some day someone will born will become better than MJ, but it didn't happen yet. I had a goosebumps while watching this vid, pure greatness!

He dominated the sport and the world fell at his feet; He was the icon of sports marketing and he revolutionized it like nobody else. No other professional of any discipline is even close to him, nor Roger Federer, Maradona, Pelé, Ayrton Senna or Mohamed Ali. There is a before and after in the world after Michael Jordan.

Grew up watching basketball, and playing that game fervently. This is the GREATEST short film on Michael Jeffery Jordan that I've EVER seen. If only it could be digitally enhanced! Also, some of the contact that guy took going to the hole would be classified as "assault" in today's pansified society, let alone that soft assed league dubbed the NBA (Never Basketball Again).. It's all about entertainment, now and it sickens me! The pansies of today's game can NEVER measure up to Mike! That there is a FACT!

For those youngsters who haven’t had a chance to see Michael for a full season, THIS is a great representation on how superior Michael was. Every game was basically filled with highlight reels. Especially that 4th quarter.. there was this force like no other when Michael brought the ball from other side of the court. He would give you a confidence that at least 2 points will be made during that offence. Literally.
