@Night's King Jordan had it more difficult bcus the rules has changed. Guys were literally playing in his shorts and Jordan shook them off. 1990s NBA was a lot more physical. Today if you breath too hard on a player its a foul.
Michael might be the only athlete I've ever watched where I can see the same highlights over and over and they have the same impact as if I'm seeing them for the first time AGAIN!!!
@Infinit 0 hasn't displayed that magical shit yet... Maybe in time... as for their look on the court... Mike was way more limber while Kawhi is more mechanical
kawhi doesnt have the athleticism mj has (ie quickness, vertical leap) he only has the bug hands. but mj’s hands is still bigger. kawhi can copy those mid range post up moves but not those acrobatic shots and quick turn around fade aways
I was very young growing up in Chicago in the early and mid 90s, back then watching the bulls was the only basketball i had ever seen at that point. I knew when i was a child that mike was different then the other players. It wasnt like it is now with the internet and 24/7 coverage and interviews and media, all i saw of mike for the most part was what he did during actual games, and from watching him play alone-i knew this was a horse of a different color, alot of the people in Chicago area knew they were witnessing history, and some like my father did not know, he was a skeptic, rightfully so i mean who retires comes back and wins 3 more championships in a row!? I still remember my dad having his doubts about Jordan's bulls lol, as a kid i just somehow knew this guy was different then the rest of em, and its not like i had youtube to influence me, you could just tell mike was something else from his gameplay, the man oozed swag and passion for the game, i knew as a child this man would have to die on the basketball court for him to lose a finals series. Mike is amazing, i have 23 tattooed on my shooting elbow lol, mike was a huge influence growing up, honestly it was a privilege to watch his career.
I live in Chicago and I went to a game sitting under the basket in the family section with my camera and a really good telephoto lens and I saw Jordan, Ewing, and starks jump at the same time near the bucket and they came down and he was still in flight. I took the picture and I was silent the rest of the game maybe in shock.
I went to Flight School his camp the first year at IBC someone asked how high can you jump he said after lunch I'll show you... Swiped a half dollar off the top of the backboard... Looked like an alien!
Bravo to the editor/creator this is one of the best compilations I've seen with some true to the title rare sequences I haven't seen before and I've seen a lot lol. Well done and thanks for the fun! The footage demonstrates probably better than any other vid how impactful MJ's hands and footwork and agility were in his game.
You can see 3 major things in this video: 1. Jordan was insanely athletic, 2. He was also a finesse player, 3. Was fundamentally skilled near to perfection. And 3rd point is most important for me, because some people claimed that Jordan can't be GOAT because he travels A LOT. And, to be honest, his first step was so lightning quick he lifted his pivot foot before first dribble from time to time. How did NBA handle this for future generations? They added questionable gather step and stopped whistling on travels. I don't think any modern player, except Kyrie, could show that lvl of speed and craftsmanship during dribbling. My eyes bleed when there is a replay and you can see a player lifting his pivot foot before action. This is normal in NBA now, not normal for me..
I grew up watching this guy play. Every night he did something (many things) that would leave you questioning what you saw. Seeing this all put together now….just damn! He could literally do whatever he wanted to do…from the time he stepped into the league!
Is funny bc Jordan plays like a sophisticated level genius, but still when you break it down. All his movements are not wasted. His footworks, every single one of em.
MJ the best offensive player and defensive player and accomplished more than any other player in 13 years the likes that Lebron is still chasing even after 20 years. Good god MJ had no weaknesses of course MJ is the GOAT, just like Jim Brown is the GOAT of running backs because he accomplished more in 9 years than anyone ever.
He is in the lane and clowning on people too.... Who else does that... No one... Steph doing it at the top of the circle doesn't hold the same weight... not even remotely.
And his passing ability. Lebron's no look passes are typical look left pass right, MJs no look passes come out of no where. And the shot blocking as a guard, outstanding. And they try to say he didn't have great handles, he doesn't have kryie handles but his are close and tight to his body not wide crossovers like alot of others. MJ was Impeccable
mike innovated the dribbling styles for big two guards and forwards. kobe funny AF @ the 2:51 mark sticking his tongue out like that could stop jordan.
he was the ultimate athlete...imo the best athlete of all time the guy can play anything ....golf....baseball....frigging hockey or surfing....mj coulda done it
the way MJ dominated the game made him look like a grown man in game filled with high school kids. not to say his competition was easy, but he was (and still is) just that much better than everyone else.
I love it when people say MJ couldn’t handle the “zone” defenses they use today…there’s only like 3763 clips of him slicing through double and triple teams like nothing.
It was not my favourite player because I grew up watching Magic and Bird and they played for their team and Jordan looked very selfish compared to them. Then all the kids wanted to imitate Michael Jordan and they all played very selfish, without worrying about their team mates. But when it comes to Jordan, he was mind-blowing, unstoppable. It was like watching humans playing against a furious black panther.
People should stop comparing him to other basketball players. He is obviously the best ever. The only comparable are greats in other sports…Ali, Gretzky, Bo, etc.
@Infinit 0 Kawhi's hands are big enough, but can't do everything MJ did onehanded, like mid-air one handed shots. Partly because kawhi doesn't have MJ's hangtime.
Michael Jordan is one of 4 or 5 athletes who were at least 40 years ahead of their sport. It's really unbelievable. Maybe in 10 years we will finally say that Jordan was 50 years ahead 🤷.
There are some "experts" on us Television, saying "LeBron is bigger, stronger, faster"... Bigger, check, stronger, well in the later years MJ was pretty strong, aint sure if this is an easy win for LBJ, but come on: FASTER?????? in what universe is LBJ faster than MJ??????? MJ all day!!!!!!
i hope someone can copy his basketball moves like what kobe did that would be very entertaining to watch again hopefully someone do can copy his moves its hard but its worth it.
Every time you think you've just seen it ALL from him there's actually more to discover.. thanks again, man to edit some new footage never seen before from MJ!!! And, what can I say..?!?! I thought there are some rare moves that MJ never delivered in his career.. like crazy stuff from J-Will, Rondo, spin moves from Irving or the Dream Shake.. this video again proved me wrong - MJ did it ALL!!!!
Not sure why but part one isn’t giving me the option to save it. Maybe something was clicked by accident? I dunno. But I’d love to add that to the other great MJ videos you and others have made.
watch 0:05 and then 0:15 - this is why he couldn't be guarded - he could go either way and hit the fader, this is basically like a PK in football... you just have to guess and hope he misses - only Kareem's sky hook is at this level... the sky hook took less effort, but MJ's turnaround fadeaway could be created by himself without needing an inbound pass to set it up... the greatest players have "the shot" that can't be guarded
Amazing footage
@@81Liavin You are the 🐐 of MJ footage.
No one in the entire planet has or will ever be as talented and fun to watch as Michael Jordan....
The best basketball player ever walk on earth. Simply the GOAT.

Jordan was playing above NBA level. He makes it look like he was just playing around and having fun. No other player did this so well.
@Night's King Jordan had it more difficult bcus the rules has changed. Guys were literally playing in his shorts and Jordan shook them off. 1990s NBA was a lot more physical. Today if you breath too hard on a player its a foul.
He made the best in the world look like they were in high school. No joke.
Michael might be the only athlete I've ever watched where I can see the same highlights over and over and they have the same impact as if I'm seeing them for the first time AGAIN!!!
after all the years, the more I see the games the more I am sure that there will never be another MJ. He was the true GOD in Basketball.
Mike in his prime would still dominate the league right now. He did damn near magical shit on the court that nobody right now could duplicate.
@Infinit 0 hasn't displayed that magical shit yet... Maybe in time... as for their look on the court... Mike was way more limber while Kawhi is more mechanical

@@toddsnyder8598 Wizards Michael with a healthy body could dominate today's NBA.
Yep. 35+ years ago and still looks like the future. It's crazy.
If you saw this and NEVER seen basketball before....
It would be very CLEAR that a human that can do all that jazz on the court is special
That was jazz bro, i agree! He was fundamentally sound, with crazy footwork, and could easily palm the ball. A pure artist

the footwork is just amazing, hands that large enough to palm the ball like that.. MJ is just incredible..
How is there even a debate?!? Goat period
Only former NFL player currently commentator, Nick with no basketball experience trying to make a debate and kids that never seen MJ played.
personal preference sir, newsflash!... not everyone thinks alike.
no debate. MJ, Gretzky, Jon Jones, Ali, Mahomes, Tiger Woods. no debate. but MJ is the most no debate of anyone ever. hes the goat of goats

Nobody over 6 feet moved like this. His acceleration, stopping power and agility was completely off the charts.
He was just.. no words
Nobody over or under 6FT ever moved like that holding a basketball

Haha it breaks me up when people compare others to him.
MJ was breaking ankles before it even had a name!
@Infinit 0 mj did it before tim
Sure was
Old man Jordan: You reach...1:04
Damn 3:15 basically like his kiss the rim dunk, but then sort of 360s going forward off 1 leg ...His creativity and grace is off the charts.
Dem kids just don't know...MJ was God on the court
He was the best who ever played basketball..all his plays were great..GREAT.
He be dancing on these boys man always the G.O.A.T
These attempts will never be replicated by another player. If it did, it wouldn't be that spectacular.
