Card game! My favorite small card game: -Firm with brownies -Bloody Inn -Mottainai -Critter at wars Air land and sea -Pocket master builder -Last dungeon pocket -Haze island
I’d love to see a top video game list. Also, I think a lot of people prefer Dominion Deckbuilding just because is the first in the genre but personally, there are more enjoyable deckbuilding games. I played Dominion last year and it was not for me. I don’t like being limited to playing my cards and having to buy more cards to take more actions. I started with DC Deckbuilding and it will stay as my favorite, specially with the Crisis expansions and the Confrontations edition. I also enjoy Marvel legendary, Star Wars, Ascension, Hero Realms and Star Realms.
Thanks we will eventually do a video game list for sure! And that definitely makes sense. Sometimes having limitations to playing cards makes it all the more easier to play however once you get combos going and can start doing much more with the cards you add it’s such a much richer experience. Star Realms and Marvel Legendary are the only two you mentioned that we have played and definitely enjoy those for the depth yet simplistic nature those bring!
Once Upon a Time is one of those games I am imagining my 8yo granddaughter jumping up and down after finishing a game screaming out.....granddad, can we play that again. I'm in Australia and moving to Europe to be with my Mrs and I have a bunch of board games to give them. I do tho strongly feel Once Upon a Time is going to be one of our absolute favs.....and with how my imagination works, I'm already concerned as to the influence I am going to have on my granddaughter LOL On the other hand, my wife who is an introvert, that game will bring out parts of her I am sure are going to surprise even me lol
It definitely brings out the creativity within those who may have a lack for it or a crave for it. You are definitely right that it’s a fave for the ones who have played it. At some point there will be a laugh or a plot twist that makes the game a true gem that simply shines!
@@TableZopps Yeah. I watched a playthrough on YT and it was so much fun to watch. A guy at work played it and said he was nearly in tears from laughter, playing it lol 😀
Nice list. I also really like the Arboretum, it visually just looks good to me. Besides the ones you mentioned, I enjoy Deductio, Something Wild (it has one mini/figure but it's still a card game), Karakum, and Hanamikoji. P.S. This was my first time watching your video and I'm sure it wasn't the last! :)

Some there I like, and some I need to try. My favourites are High Society (auction game), Ohanami (drafting) and Cockroach Poker (bluffing).
We are definitely wanting to get those three. We’ve heard so much goodness about High Society.

If you've never played Tichu, track it down. You need to play 4 players in two teams, but it's amazing.
