Card game! My favorite small card game: -Firm with brownies -Bloody Inn -Mottainai -Critter at wars Air land and sea -Pocket master builder -Last dungeon pocket -Haze island

"Shadows over Camelot" is a game I want as well. I believe it's coming back as "Knights of the Round Table" by Jonny Pac, really looking forward on that one. Another one I would love to get is "Dungeon Quest", it feels like a game, that even though old, I would really enjoy solo. I hope it will get a re-release just like Talisman.

Nice list. I also really like the Arboretum, it visually just looks good to me. Besides the ones you mentioned, I enjoy Deductio, Something Wild (it has one mini/figure but it's still a card game), Karakum, and Hanamikoji. P.S. This was my first time watching your video and I'm sure it wasn't the last! :)

If you've never played Tichu, track it down. You need to play 4 players in two teams, but it's amazing.

This is a pretty solid list to be completly honest, I agree with most of the ones you guys picked... the ones I don't I would exchange them for the following: Five Tribes and Tigris & Euphrates (along Azul are my Top 3 games of all time) Sea, Salt & Paper (amazing little gem of a card game) Smallworld (this is probably nostalgia, it was the first modern boardgame in my collection) Tiny Epic Dungeons (affordable puzzly dungeon crawl)

Some there I like, and some I need to try. My favourites are High Society (auction game), Ohanami (drafting) and Cockroach Poker (bluffing).

I feel like most of these aren't 'hard to get.' Most of these can be found at or below their original MSRP, it's just their original MSRP might have been expensive.

I love fury of Dracula. They tried to improve the mechanism with beast but it's not nearly as good and nowhere near as thematic. It's the BEST Halloween game for gamers. It runs too long for normies though.

Voidfall is a brilliant game. There really is no luck to the game. Actually, the exact opposite. You know exactly how combat will go. it's more of an equation. If you go into combat with a specific fleet, you will know who will go first, the damage delt, damage taken, and the result. The strategy comes from which action cards you play and maximizing your turns off of the 2 of the 3 actions taken per card. Moving up research tracks and comboing more actions is the key to the game. Deep planning and contingencies are crucial to developing a winning strategy. It is a fantastic game, though. If you are around the New Jersey area, hit me up. Some hidden movement suggestions... Specter Ops - This is a good next step from Letters from Whitechapel. Everyone gets special abilities, the game scales to the player count (you don't have to evenly split the characters hunting the hidden player), and at max players one of the hunters is a traitor. Mind MGMT - This one is like a pseudo-Legacy game. Based on which side wins, a box is unlocked that's basically a modular expansion. Like Specter Ops, everyone gets special abilities. Jaws - The first half of the game is Jaws swimming around the island eating people. The other players are trying to stop him. The second half is the showdown on the boat. How well players did in the previous round will determine whether they get any bonuses for the showdown. The game's weight is comparable to Whitechapel, but it's fun and thematic. And, if you want a game that takes the hidden movement mechanisms and flips it, then get The Snallygaster Situation. This is kind of like Stranger Things as a board game. There are kids trying to stop the monster of the week and find the lost kid. These kids are basically progressing the story and searching in locations. There are FBI agents and a big bad stomping around the board causing problems. The lost kid has a hand of cards, and always has to play one card which activates something the bad (monsters, agents, or both). The hook is that these cards provide location information, and the lost kid has 3 piles they can discard to. So, they're able to provide the other players with clues for their location. But, they have to keep the monster in check too, which means not every card is a good clue. It's a really unique cooperative deduction game that feels like an inverse hidden-movement game.

Camp Grizzly, with all Kickstarter extras. Because I'm incredibly stupid, I didn't buy the core box for 60.00 back when it was available on their website.

I can get every single one of these games delivered within a week at a reasonable price. I wouldn't exactly call them grail games. Crockinole is a special case of course, but all the rest are in stock, and priced within reason here (Europe). Ticket to Ride is a bit expensive for what it is. But Flick 'em Up is available for less than $20. Oh, and Flick 'em Up is not that great a game, to be honest.

Oh, I had the third edition of fury of Dracula. I sold it, dang it!

Aw, too bad I don't still have my 4th edition of Fury of Dracula that came with the painted minis that I got for $6 at Goodwill about a year and a half ago. I don't like hidden movement games at all so I sold it for $100 but I would have just given it to you guys.

Don't bother with Flick'em up. Just get Crokinole.

You should be able to get fury Id suggest 3rd edition from ffg or 4th from wiz kids but some folks like second more. I see Noble Knight Games has 3rd for $85. It's a good game.

Return to Dark Tower is in print. It's available from the publisher, it is $190 MSRP. Love Detective Club, so good. They use note pads and one does not have a word on it. BGG does have a copy for sale in the US. Tracy Boards is the best Crokenol maker they run $400-500, Mayday just ran a KS they do a more affordable board.

We are in the middle of ticket to ride legacy. Got 3 games to go. Gonna be honest - the story is disappointing, the modules don't really tie in together. Pandemic Season 0 is still the best legacy game I've ever played. Paid $120 for ticket to ride.

My #1 is Giant Rhino Hero. My biggest regret is not having bought it years ago when it was in stock on the BGG store 😔

I got exceptionally lucky and got a poor-quality crokinole board for about $50, it's a real shame that it isn't more accessible as it is such a brilliant game. Also, if anyone has spheres of influence battle for global supremacy hit me up, that's my ultimate grail game.

I’m assuming the clear plastic stand pieces hold those flat “player portraits” and acts as your score keeper token?

Great video! Some games I haven't played yet but my favorites in there were Love Letter, Pandemic, Marvel United and Unmatched. And it's nice that you even mentioned Dice Throne :)

I don't know if this loses me cred as a board game TH-camr, but I have never played Pandemic... I have played games with a similar system though. The Abbot in Carcassonne is a simple thing to add in and adds a meeple you can place only on specific areas and can recall to score that area early. My favorite TTR is Europe (not counting Legacy which we just started) because it adds stations which you can use to complete routes by using someone else's line, but you are giving up VP to do so. Gloomhaven, Castle of Burgundy, and Terraforming Mars are among my favorite games! And Prelude is on my 5 Essential expansions list... we never play without it.

So many classics on the list: love it! Our top played games on the list are Love Letter (Loot Letter skin), Mysterium, and King of Tokyo. They are very easy to teach new players making them easy to get to the table :)

we like summer pavillion and the expansion has more boards, i would include infinity shards or dominion - some deck builder one needs a engine builder so wingspan or terraforming mars, some quick games and more than two - bonanza , for sale and point salad.. we like mid weight the most so we have light mid and heavy orleons, concordia,tzolkin , stone age, dragons castle here are some i enjoy we play a small mean tree game alot lol arboretum we have capstone heavy games like imperial steam and cooperisland aside from co2 and through the ages
