Great video, just how I like to fish. One to Danny I have opened some pegs up on the park side of the railway arches where you fish on the dane in Northwich, some cracking swims for trotting.
I love long lining with 5 & 6 mtr whips. I fish the South Yorkshire canal where it's about 12' deep but I kill the maggots with boiling water before I leave home then put them in the ground bait rather than loose feeding as it stops the fish coming up in the water. Like you I normally feed four cricket ball sized balls to start with and then conker-sized balls every cast. Great video.
no problem at all toni, hope your session went well, sorry for late reply been long weekend, went wye in friday all day and proper blew wind out sails this weekend.
cheers jeff, try my best to show it all on the day and any little hints and tips i can help people out who want to give it a go. tight lines mucka and thank you for taking time leave nice comment
Yes i did have a good day had a little tournament and won it this weekend going to ferry meadows for big boys breams subscribed ur channel tight lines to u mate
cheers scott for leaving such a nice comment, was an enjoyable day for sure really enjoyed it. glad you enjoyed video mate and tight lines if you are bankside
deffo matey but you always look at where could done better and watching footage back over o should have gone over to a heavier float. hindsights a great thing though lol
will try to mate i was hoping do some canal fishing this year but it has not fished great. there is a video waggler fishing for roach on channel last year i think
its great fun mate, try and pick a venue with few carp in as you dont really have chance bit get the venue right with silvers and bream can have a great and cheap days fishing
great session nice mixed bag of silvers, i was never interested in hauling huge lumps out it gets boring playing them... love the fact you use an old pole and not tempted to pose with the latest BIG £ carbon toy that just impresses other anglers maybee...i have a few old bits myself i will not stop using.... one suggestion.... fish further away from the motorway the traffic drone gets irritating..
U would be surprised the size of fish I've landed on whip ,,3kg plus the trick if you hook a big un is pull instantly up wards they only swim the way there facing ,straight into net within seconds ,if you try play them they always bust you ,better to lose them within a few seconds than after 5 mins 😅
when i riddle it it removes all the addatives they add into ground bait like seeds and hard biscuit meal. then removing the lumps again will over feed the fish as its a big clump of groundbait. i want the ground bait to be as much as a carrier of the bait as i can and not so much of a feed. having a riddled mix with no extra feed in then allows me to totally control the amount of feed i put in completely with the hemp and pellets.
Loved the video Danny, it seems that every Friday you pull something new and equally impressive out of the bag. This one took me back 30 years to fishing the Nene in a junior national, not quite as wide but still plenty of fish!! Is this venue on the same year book or did you get a day ticket?
venue is free mate and on a year book in places. one of those places people drive past never fish butis good fishing, know what you mean taking you back every time i slide the rubber over top of whip and fish with this whip it takes me back to using it as a kid with dad on canal, good times
fitman42 Hi, we fished it between Stamford and Peterborough, only a couple of times as part of being in team matches Spent a lot more time on the Leeds Liverpool, Calder and Hebble or Stainforth and Kearny Cheers
straight flick tip mate on this whip. wind was a nightmare at end tbh but it is quite an open spot so maybe i should have gone round the bend a bit more. tight lines and thank you for leaving such a nice comment
You can mate but generally on the whip you are not to far aaar from tip and normally in close connection to float ready to strike, can it see why it wouldn't help though on windy days keep float well presented
I’d never fished the whip until I saw one of your videos, now I absolutely love it,the minimal kit and simplicity is brilliant 👍🏻
Great day on the whip. Can’t rush too much and chance not landing the fish. Thanks for taking the time to film. All the best Pete 🎣
Great tips again Danny, helps me out so much, all the best pal
Love whip fishing so simple yet so effective
deffo like most things in fishing simple is often not only better but a lot better, love sessions on the whip
Great video, just how I like to fish. One to Danny I have opened some pegs up on the park side of the railway arches where you fish on the dane in Northwich, some cracking swims for trotting.

I went on local lake with my middy 5mt, got into a carp but struggled to land it, holding the pole up high to enable netting is it normal to struggle?
why riddle the groundbait to 'get rid of the lumps' as not to over feed. then add pellets and hemp?
when i riddle it it removes all the addatives they add into ground bait like seeds and hard biscuit meal. then removing the lumps again will over feed the fish as its a big clump of groundbait. i want the ground bait to be as much as a carrier of the bait as i can and not so much of a feed.

gotch ya mate. great videos

what part of the nene did you fish as a junior mate , as i fish the nene a bit near me
fitman42 Hi, we fished it between Stamford and Peterborough, only a couple of times as part of being in team matches
Spent a lot more time on the Leeds Liverpool, Calder and Hebble or Stainforth and Kearny
Cheers
Are there still any good day ticket stretches on the weaver? If so can you point us in the right direction
Hi Danny Great days fishing in some difficult windy conditions. I was just thinking we’re you on elastic or straight flick tip ?
straight flick tip mate on this whip. wind was a nightmare at end tbh but it is quite an open spot so maybe i should have gone round the bend a bit more. tight lines and thank you for leaving such a nice comment
Hi Danny , what stretch of the weaver is it
Hi Danny did you use the flick tip or elastic through the whip? Thanks shaun
Been a flick tip mate I dont really use elastic in whips. If I feel bigger fish on a venue will use a pole elasticated over a whip tbh
Okay thanks for the tip Danny keep up the good work on the Chanel buddy
Dan, can you just answer a question that no one else seems to know. Question, can you back shot on the whip to stop line drag ?
You can mate but generally on the whip you are not to far aaar from tip and normally in close connection to float ready to strike, can it see why it wouldn't help though on windy days keep float well presented
Dannys Angling Blog cheers mate, love the whip vids
Do you use rubber or flick tip on your whip
Is it a video log? A vlog!! 😂
lmao, i know i know but but but, yeah your right, next weeks blog will be a vlog
@@DannysAnglingBlog you the man Danny!! I'll b watching!! 😂👌👍
Hi Danny where about's are you on the weaver mate and is it day ticket
looks like the weaver navigation to me near the sailing club, thats the M56 viaduct in Frodsham to his right I think.
dont think it matters this year on weaver whole of it is on fire for bream mate from northwich down to where goes into manchester shippy
Which make of whip is that you are using?
Niklas Price looks like a Leeda 2xl from Argos.
@@Backs4more as above chea as chips
Get back on the cut for some wild carp.
been tough this year mate, vidoes attract attention and attention attracts anglers so lot more people on there this year, way it goes mucka
