    Today was the last day of the first month of mostly bodyweight exercises. Done 8 different exercises with 20 reps each (Push-Ups, Sit-Ups, Squats, Heel Taps, Russian Twists, Bicep Curls, Shoulder Press, and yes, the Towel Pulls). Starting tomorrow doing twice as much for the next month up until I am doing 1000 reps a day. Thank you for the inspiration!!! Really enjoying the Towel Pulls, it's a good one!

    Chez, this video, and your true wisdom are all anyone needs to know. Simple, requires nothing. Travels anywhere, can be done anywhere. FYI I’m 62, I have been doing the same type of stuff you do, since I was a teenager. I have zero physical limitations. None. I am proof your methods are sound. I have sustained this exact type of training/ philosophy/lifestyle over decades. And I still skip like a Boss brother. Keep spreading the word, you are a good man

    Yo man you are literally the best bro. You inspire me to push everday man
    I got one question. Is there a way to improve your roadwork like running and endurance? Because sometimes when i play my sport fatigue gets the best of me
    Thanks again bro for your amazing time and effort!

    • @CHEZCANTERE
      @CHEZCANTERE  ปีที่แล้ว

      for me what i would suggest is doing your sport double time with resistance. as for me, kickboxing would mean doing it more and adding little dumbbells and ankle weights just to make it harder. or i can do a crazy run/sprint workout then finish off with my kickboxing work. this way while im doing my kickboxing im fatigued and forced to push through

    Hi how many sets and reps ?

  • @BJJ_Richie
    @BJJ_Richie ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hey my brother , how many of these supersets do you do ? I’ve been training BJJ MMA for 13 years and now at 52 I’m lagging just a bit in muscular endurance , I am strong as an ox but for the long hard rolls in the gym , once I start gassing , I’m have trouble getting through it , and by the end of these 5 minute rounds , I bacially get dominated ,

    • @CHEZCANTERE
      @CHEZCANTERE  ปีที่แล้ว

      this one is kinda hard for i would have to watch you roll to fix your problem. but here are some ways i've helped my older bjj clients from before with this similar problem. if you play really tight with strength, after your bjj session, try to hit some heavy bodybuilding workouts. this will teach your muscles to still contract under a load while fatigued. if you play very explosively, almost with a judo style, i would make these guys do circuits with heavy kettlebell swings. this helped them to be explosive even after a hard roll. if they had a wrestler style, i'd make them do sprints directly after their practice. a lot of getting the long wind gas is simple but hard. you need to first get your body in the fatigued state then you start your workout with the main intention of pushing yourself in that fatigued state

    Yup, constant tension is how some bodybuilders have built their physique. Or rather the details that helps them win. BB still need heavy weights for the big muscles but they need to balance with light weight constant tension for the muscle details that judges like to see
