Its not the glow plug. You could tell when you used your ez start. Both lights (motor)(glow plug) lite up perfect. You need to open up the idle gap in your carburetor. 0.7mm - 1.0mm (factory settings) hsn is 4 full turns from close. Lsn is 3. Hope this helps you.
I said it needed a new glow plug because I had the incorrect glow plug in it. I had a cooler one installed. I ordered the proper glow plug for it and it ran so much better.
And 4 turns on the hsn and 3 turns on the lsn is just a general starting point. Mine runs better at 3-1/2 to 3-3/4 for the hsn and about 2-1/2 to 2-3/4 for the lsn. Thank you for your advice though, and thank you for watching 👍
Try a hotter glow plug maybe? I used to have nitros in the the past ,but got tired of messing with it,,,always a PITA,,,,,I’m sticking with all electric,,,,,,good luck,,you have more patience than me,,🇺🇸👈
Just like I was thinking .... a hotter glow plug! Thanks for confirming that for me James 👍. After a few hours I went back and tried it again and got it to stay running but it was dark by then, maybe I'll try again tomorrow. But I'm ordering a new plug FORSURE!
Hmmmm, I've never heard that one. It makes sense though. And my T-Maxx sits more than it does anything so it very well could possibly be the issue. Thanks for the tip as I'm not big into the nitro game. 👍 Just by your user name....I'm guessing you are 😁
