I have 4 standard 1.2 volt AA batteries in mine. You can buy rechargeable AA's if you would like. I'm not 100% sure what the round port in the bottom of the transmitter is...I think it's a data cable for updating if you wanted to do that. Then there is a micro USB port to the left of the round port and I think that is for charging if you did decide to go rechargeable AA batteries. The transmitter lasts a very long time on a 4 set of disposable batteries. Probably like 10 flights or so. All of the info your requesting will be in the instruction manuals that come with the fw-450 if you happen to forget. Thanks for watching and messaging.

I don't fly it a lot compared to how much I use some of my other vehicles but I fly at least once a month and the only speed controller that I had go bad is after I crashed it I smoked a speed controller but that was my fault otherwise my replacement one has been fine.

I'm not sure on the inverted question. I would calibrate it just to be safe.

I ordered one yesterday and was wondering about that, nobody ever mentioned obstacle avoidance so I kinda assumed that was the case. Sounds like I should leave it off because I plan on flying around the yard with it and it sounds like it could get me in trouble. Thanks for the tip!

@@nickarganbright7218 You plug it into the lipo and leave it inside the helicopter while flying. Believe me, you will be able to hear it while flying.

First of all, thanks for watching & commenting. I came up with the idea because I was always getting rocks in my fan and breaking the blades😡. I sourced some stainless steel mesh (you were right😉) from the internet. I cut it to size and then pushed a pick (or anything round) through the square hole that best lined up with the existing fan bolt holes and bolted it all together. One thing I changed was I ended up pulling 1 row of mesh off from each side of the stainless cover because if it's exactly the same size as the fan housing it leaves a bunch of wire sticking out along all 4 sides that can poke you easily, removing 1 row of mesh off from each side (2 if needed) essentially makes the screen cover a bit smaller than the fan housing and then you don't get poked everytime you come in contact with it. I just thought I'd pass that along brother. 😁.

It was actually a bit nose heavy. If you're thinking it is tail heavy because of how it went up and then back down..... the gyro did that.

Thats what I THINK happened anyways. I glued it back together and tried again but clipped one of our PVC pipe stands we use while flying. I haven't tried again since that day. The first two attempts that flight or not successful so I'm hoping the third time is the charm for whenever I decide to give it a shot again

I love old time inventions. Back when things were meant to last and were built to be serviced....not just thrown away. "Break it, fix it, wear it out........Make it do ..... or do without" That's how life was back then.

Hi again . I noticed when I flip the stick is not reverse how do i reverse the stick. Normally when invert the down stick heli will go up and the up stick heli will down

I would turn the sensitivity down and maybe try relocating where the sensor sets on your chassis. Try a left rear or right rear or left front or right front corner ... that should help you get rid of the wobble. Thanks for watching.

I did that on the side of the road before I loaded it. Clean and still translucent as if it was changed yesterday. Gas was fine too .

I plan on doing a few more things like this, not exactly an instructional video because I'm not telling step by step instructions the ENTIRE video about a specific make and model of mower but just general knowledge of how to fix any mower. (or whatever the item is that I'm doing the video about) I think these types of videos will do well.

Well I bring you one of new ones to drive one of these days. The batteries last so long that sometimes (when your alone) #nofriends.....you get bored driving them before the battery dies.
